NOT SURPRISED THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED – Purchased product a couple of years ago, only just attempted to use it and realised that not all of the parts work and the noise is horrendous. Wish I'd known sooner as I would have returned this, not happy. Show details

A total waste of money – I am am not at all happy with this processor or its attachments, which are difficult to to put together, they are also difficult to clean because there are many inaccessible areas. Furthermore, the other bits , like the part which needs to be slotted in so it can start, are really fiddly and difficult to assemble and wash. I also have a… Read more

problem with the level of noise it makes when in action. There should be a warning, alerting clients to the fact that it is EXTREMELY loud. Surely it is a health hazard? Who designed such a non functional appliance? When I turn it on, I need to leave the room. Not a product I would ever buy again!

The worst appliance we’ve ever owned – You need a university degree in appliance building to be able to put it together, and it’s so loud you can’t use it outside of normal working hours otherwise you’ll get noise complaints from your neighbours. Once you do eventually work out how put it together, it can’t even crumb biscuits let alone chop anything substantial. We’ve just decided today it’s better off in the bin than taking up space in our cupboard. Good riddance.

Rubbish product – So poorly designed can't get the lid on to operate. Had I read the reviews before purchase I wouldn't have bought it. Can't get a refund because I lost the reciept. It's going in the bin. They have discontinued this product so no one else will waste their money. Will never buy another Russell Hobbs product ever again  Show details

Hopeless – The bigger bowl is very difficult to assemble and when you do its not easy to get it to work......the clips have broken off and its so noisy you need ear plugs to use it....Also as far as the blades are concerned they do not process food like cooked meat i.e chicken or pork into uniform sizes its either mush and lumps.........I would not recommend this product. Buy a FP that actually does what it claims to do Show details

Terrible – I haven't used this processor that much and besides being very noisey, trying to fit the different size bowls is really difficult. The levers that start the blade in motion are made of plastic and have now broken. Was going to send it back under warranty but realised it had run out by 1 month. Will bin it and buy something much better. Show details

Waste of money – Need ear plugs to use this blender, it’s soo loud, a waste of money. Takes forever to get the lid on and in its working position, Definitely stay away. Invest in a better product. Show details

worst product I have purchased – The food processors is like a jet plane noise. The 4 sections of the lid are the most complicated I have ever seen. The small processor wouldn't process. All you get is a mucky mess on the bottom and no processing on the top of the mixture. It appears that the blades should have a more curved up design to bring the top food down. Complicated… Read more

shredder/slicer attachments. Why wouldn't you have one slicer with 2 thicknesses and 1 shredder with the same. Definately do not purchase this product.

Small bowl problem – I bought this 2 days ago and couldnt get the small bowl to work. After a lot of Google search it seems to be common. I worked out the issue though. This little bit has to be out. However it seems to be a fault in the item that it is flexible and on the verge of breaking from the start. I don't think it's as noisy as others are saying. And seems to work, chop, etc perfect Show details

Difficult to operate and super noisy – I have a lot of appliances and this is by far the most frustrating to use. Locking the lid in place is like trying to solve a Rubik's cube, the cord is way too short and the noise makes a jackhammer sound peaceful. Would definitely NOT recommend. Show details

when something goes wrong – our new Russel Hobbs food processor is very quiet compared to our last machine which gave up at a critical time I have never had a problem with it handling any of our foods, either liquid or solid. all the related attachments are so easily cleaned ,they still look like new I rate this very highly, and I am happy with its looks and performance. Show details

the Pin – The pin that activates the big bowl does not click into place. too many pieces that I haven't even tried as the dough maker didn't work so I haven't tried anything else. The instructions are not simple to follow. Show details

Best ever kitchen gadget I owned – The machine is super easy to operate and serves all my purposes of whipping up juices, processing meat (for meat balls, burger patties) and also for grinding spices. Works really well with making mint chutney which is a necessity at our place. Also totally happy with the dough mixing function. The only negative aspect is the noise it makes. Show details

Noisy and irritating – The mashing element is good if I need to blend more for potatoes, soups, breadcrumbs and soft veggies that are already cooked.I find i have to stir areas where ingredients don't get chopped fully by blades and this can sometimes be annoying. The noise can certainly aggravate little kids or the neighbours.  Show details

Terrible poor design big bowl doesn't work – This is the worst food processor I have had ever owned. Bought recently. Very noisy and the big bowl has design fault and will not work. Waste of money. The pin that activates the motor propulsion is too small. Doesn't go deep enough to push the safety lever pin down enough to propel the motor.  Show details

Terrible – This is the loudest food processor. It’s very difficult to put together and not only that I have trouble every single time I need to attach the lid. It’s like it gets stuck. The plastic is cheap and be careful when you turn this thing on it is the most obnoxious sound you’ll ever hear it’s almost deafening. It’s too big and bulky and makes too… Read more

much sound and I can see now why it’s been discontinued. It comes with a smaller bowl as well which the blades don’t even cut properly don’t waste your time.

Noisey – Not satisfied not just saying I’m being honest. It is extremely noisy so noisy you just want to turn it of. Would I buy it again no I would go pay more for another would love to give it back. The blender works well once you work it out blending it’s fine but the noise factor is just to much.  Show details

As loud as a chainsaw – i mean literally, as loud as a chainsaw. Tempted to keep some ear muffs with the accessories. Absurdly short cord has to be on top of a power point. Blue LED light permanently on in your kitchen so has to be unplugged or switched at wall which is tedious when plugged into a powerboard. Convoluted series of click and lock on the big bowl there's… Read more

about 4 or 5 things that have to be locked in. This makes it very tedious when you just want to scrape down the sides.

Spins fast. Not sure it does a great job yet i've only used it a few times results were satisfactory with a question mark. As in- you'd expect the way this thing goes off like a jumbo jet to get finer results.

Small bowl leaks badly even when well below fill line liquid runs everywhere down sides, down centre shaft. You couldn't put a small enough amount in to make it not leak so really just use the small bowl for dry stuff.

I've only had it a while and barely used it but i'm pretty sure within a period of time it'll be landfill. Probably sooner rather than later.

Positives- Cheap, does spin fast.

2 in 1 – Love that the food processor and blender both run on the same motor unit which saves space. Sure it is noisy, but it is a powerful machine that can be adjusted to different speeds to perform different jobs. Processor comes with a variety of attachments and have so far only used the grater and slicer as well as processing with great success.  Show details

Excellent Processor! – its works well, and i agree that its really loud but i highly recommend it to everyone out there! The jug is quite big and heavy which you have to be careful while handling with and it needs a thorough cleaning after using it. All other attachments also worked amazingly well!!!  Show details

Bad machine – Machine is very loud to use. Hand blender attachment failed after six months of purchase (hardly used). Advised by the store of purchase, other customers have returned the item, complaining of the loud noise? Would not recommend buying this product. Originally bought from a 50% sale price at Harris Scarfed, Adelaide SA.  Show details

so fiddly to use - frustrating – The small processor is good although hard to connect to power up. but why cant I do the same with the large processor bowl without adding the fiddly top bits to make it power up. So Frustrating enough to turn me to dumping it and buying something else. would appreciate an answer!!!!  Show details

Instructions could be improved – Are all Food Processors designed to be fiddly and difficult to clean? If so, the Russell Hobbs 750W Food Processor fits the bill. Overall happy with the performance of the machine, however there are design aspects that leave me shaking my head. I was disappointed that the off button did not turn the machine OFF it simply stopped it from… Read more

processing therefore I must reach back to the power point to completely turn the machine OFF. I will get used to that.

I am uncertain if the mixing bowls and attachments are dishwasher safe as there is nowhere in the instructions of packaging that indicates so.

Some of the fiddly corners etc. leave plenty of space for water to be retained after cleaning and therefore difficult to completely dry after cleaning.

ARM & Cutting Disk Broke twice! Junk do not buy – I bought this food processor in July 2015. After only using it twice the plastic arm that holds up the metal shredding disk snapped in half. I contacted Russell Hobb and they posted me out a replacement part. I have used it 6 times in 12mths and it has just snapped again. Now Russell Hobbs is saying they will send out another stem as a favour! But how long will this one last?? This is junk so do not buy  Show details

Don't blend soup!!! – Went to process soup! I filled the jug about half way (way below max line). Started processing and immediately liquid spilled out the sides and entered machine, consequently burning out. This machine is Incredibly noisy, block you ears noisy. The parts do not seem to be strong enough. i would not buy again.

BADDD! – Excessively loud!! Every time it did not blend, everything was left chunky. The more you processed/blended it the thinner the mixture/smoothie/batter got but the big chunks still remained, even when I stopped it, mixed the contents and re started it. Definitely would not recommend. It may look fancy but terrible.

absolute junk – This item is the nosiest kitchen appliance ever made. It gives you a headache. The press buttons are overly hard to press hence the reason for the ugly suction cups on the base. But apart from that it is totally useless to mix up dry biscuits for a cheese cake base and is slow in mixing anything gluggy such as cheeses etc. This useless product… Read more

should be taken off the market. This useless product takes all the pleasure out of cooking.

Unfortunately it was a Christmas present so I will have to use it a little longer to please my daughter in law. I have other RH products but will never buy another due to the extra poor performance of this RHFP750. Just a heap of JUNK that should be recalled.

Worst product Russell Hobbs has made – I own several Russell Hobbs products which are all very good but this is one of the worst of any electrical appliance I've used. Annoying to have to line up spindle, bowl, lid and access lid all into place before anything will work. Didn't pulse baked bread into crumbs evenly and first use for dough it sheared the centre off the bowl. Damaged beyond repair after only its second use. This product is not fit for the purpose it is sold.

Food Processor – I purchase Russell Hobbs Food Processor from Harvey Norman last week.
