Worst ever – The worst by far!!! Never had a product that bad before. I had it for 3 months and came up with error 15 which means you can’t open it. At first we were disappointed that there was not a cookbook included - a book of recipe names, but no cookbook. But when my sister purchased hers she was told about the App. Well that has made such a difference!!! You can view the recipes and ingredients where ever your phone is. I had been looking up the recipes on the machine now I use the App - this has made it complete.

Makes a beautiful Risotto in a very short time...no stirring. Curries come out beautifully. I made a lovely baked cheesecake in it. Brisket comes out so tender and just falls apart.

Yesterday I made the Potato Bake Express...It took me 15 mins to peel, and chop potato, bacon and onions and only 8MINS to cook!!!! No more 1.5 hour potato bake in my oven! This is a great recipe for busy families or singles like my son who will eat it for a couple of days.

BUT one point no one has touched on - is how light but strong the bowl is. I have arthritis in my thumbs but I can manage lifting this bowl out very easily.

We have caned ours over the last few months and the bowl shows no signs of wear!

It's more or less a fast slow cooker? I have used a few of the recipes in there, but it's not really my thing. I use it to do my weekly meal prep for my very fit, and always hungry boyfriend and I. I can have 1kg of chicken breast cooked to perfection in less than 20 mins by throwing (gently) the chicken in the steaming basket, adding 20ml of water and pressing a few buttons.

I've got my girlfriend's on to pressure cooking. I managed to cook a meal for my MIL's 60th birthday in about 3 hours. This fed 20 people and there were left overs. (4 roasts, vegetables, roast potatoes that I put in oven to crisp up etc).

Soups are great to make in it too. Just put some water and veges in after you've cooked some meat (roast lamb is the best,), put on for 40 mins and viola.

You could probably get away with the cheaper brands too, I read a bunch of reviews on this site that led me to one that was $100 with great review.

It’s step by step instructions are super easy to follow and there’s no overcooking your food anymore as this Tefal machine will tell you when your meal is ready! Very affordable, outstanding value for money (especially when compared to alternatives)! You will also save on cooking appliances, recipe books and ingredients. Much easier to clean than multiple pots and pans too! Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Disappointed. High expectations from friend recommendations – Have tried a few recipes. Measurements especially pasta always ask for more water. Tried a linked cook call of chicken satay. Unfortunately both our machines for chicken satay in recipe mode told us to do different things. We both ended up turning the machine off. I have been promised a replacement by Harvey Norman. Does not evenly cook – We have only had this for about 1 month and used it a handful of times. Everything sticks to the bottom! I also made rice in it and it was cooked so unevenly and was gross. Some was soft and mushy and other bits weren’t cooked and were hard as a rock. A lot of the rice clumped together in hard clumps as well. We’ve had issues with other meals cooking weirdly as well. Do not buy Tefal Cook4me – Purchased Tefal cook4me which has been replaced twice constantly showing code errors 24 & 30. customer service say it’s a common fault with The unit so take it back to where I purchased it & get a replacement or refund. Very average customer service

Great machine BUT!!!! – Found the cook4me very easy to use the recipe stayed on screen I added ingredients according to the list. I would recommend it I just wished it lasted a lot longer. for about 2 secs then switched off,heartbreaking we tried this a couple of times, no go very disappointing. Being pensioners it’s going to be difficult to get it seen to as we have to drive 3 hrs to the nearest repairer, it’s too big to post so it will sit in the cupboard till we go to NSW and we drop it off as we go past.

I love it can't live with out it – I love my cook-for-me I've only had it 3 weeks and I have cooked rissoto, mash potatoe they come out very fluffy, pulled pork very yummy, rice, sweet potatoe, large roast chicken twice meat just falls of the bone and very moist and lamb shanks. error 24. Eventually it cooked 3 large ones in 45 mins. They were nice but the juice ended up not having flavour next time i will do it different. I have tried the built in recipes they come out a bit watery so have to thicken them. It's very easy to pull apart and clean. I don't smell any cooking smells from it once it is clean. It's so easy and safe to use. I keep telling my daughter to get one. I couldn't live without it and I love the facebook community too.

Sad machine – This is a very frustrating machine to use.Have already had one replacement from Harvey Norman,but this second machine is no better and has same problem as the first.I get the error message saying ‘not enough water’ however adding more still doesn’t work,then have to cool down take all food out and continue cooking on stove.Please don’t buy.

if You are contemplating purchasing this product.......dont! – Was absolutely delighted with this product initially. Just after the warranty ran out it stopped working . According to many other reviews Ive read this is pretty common and the makers are no help which is pretty disappointing. I would not recommend this product to anyone or purchase any Tefal product in the future.

Worst product ever – Brakes within 2 years and tefel know this so they only offer you a 1 year warranty! Rude company waste of $249 so sad as I got this for an anniversary present and now they won’t even replace or fix the product. Show details

satisfy – my wife use cook4me once per week she is happy and satisfied but last week during cooking suddenly stopped and never turn on she use cook 4me about 3 years i bought from harvey noman (auburn) and i lost an invoice i dont know how much cost me to repair or service and back to work again Show details

Major problems with engineering – We really tried to this cooker to work, and, objectively, it cooks very well. However, this is offset by a number of insurmountable problems, which made us return it. There is a hollow area underneath the removable lid, which receives steam and potentially little bits of food, but cannot be removed or cleaned. In other words, you'll have to live with the idea of food particles permanently in the cooker, ones you can't get out. More worryingly, the metal lid presses directly on the teflon coating of the pan, causing it to rub off into your food after just a few uses. This is actually harmful to your health, and I can't understand why there isn't a rubber gasket or something to prevent the rubbing from happening.

Best appliance I’ve ever purchased – Originally bought this thinking it would be good for busy weeknights. But this machine is the best appliance I’ve ever bought. I use it for everything! Cooks risotto and pasta dishes in no time. And now that I have a baby I’m using it to steam all our veggies for her solids. Time saver – Great product, saves hips of time for cooking, total blessing when you have little kids. Best for cooking risotto (within 20 mins) and curries. For example, the Massaman curry takes just under 40 mins to cook. Lots of built in recipes. Almost stopped cooking on cooktop. Handy application. Great Pressure Cooker – It’s a good pressure cooker with built in recipes, but I would hardly call it a multi cooker. It’s great for all in one bowl means and does a good job as a faster slow cooker, with similar results. The slow cook function is pretty average and hard to use.
