1 Asha  · My favourite part about using the Vildea spin mop is when the mop head falls off the base while in hot water. Said no one EVER!
1 Ashleigh S.  · Had the bucket all of 6 months and the foot leaver broke doesn't spin anymore waste of money got no receipt so can't claim on warranty I don't recommend this
1 Mel  · Crappest mop ever – I have used this mop not even once and the mop head constantly falls off the handle. Hot water everywhere. Do not buy this mop
3 Ian  · Mop and bucket – This is a great mop but due to the mop fabric it will NOT work on Lino tiles.
1 Yes  · Extendable handle – This is worse than i ever imagined I have bought 2 mops within 2 months. Its not worth the money that i have paid
1 M F Deacon d.  · Vileda spin mop the head keeps falling off – Great when it works but constantly falls off while mopping my daughter had same problem

While I seriously love the idea of the spinning bucket, my issue is with the mop head material. It doesn’t actually pick anything up. It just moves it around the floor surface. I usually vacuum first for that reason but there’s always something it just doesn’t pick up. I wish there was a better solution for that. Show details

Good quality. The mechanism can lock up, or spin slowly, detergents promote rust. I had to take off the base plate, 4 Philips head screws and wire brush the metal shaft to remove the rust. Outside, every 6 months or so spray the neoprene cogs and the metal shaft with a silicone spray. I haven't had a problem since. Use a spray tube extension… Read more

'straw' to spray past the foot pedal and get the cogs and shaft and you won't need to take the base off. Make sure to spray the metal shaft Don't use wd40 or the like. After spraying turn the bucket upside down to let the lubricant run along the metal.

Not happy Jan!, I usually use the vileda spin mop for floor mopping, I know its not perfect but it has historically been one of the better ones. But now its just as bad, maybe even worse, I mean who changes the size of their mop head mounts and makes one size unavailable?, I now can't buy locally the mop heads I need , I can't check the size… Read more

without ripping open the packageing and so I keep buying mop heads that don't fit my mop handle. I bought a new kit, nope wrong size mop head, innovative fresh water rinse design that I just remove before it breaks and make me rage! Just tell me what size the mop mount is on the packaging and btw, anyone over 4 foot tall will struggle to use the short handle, so again the planned obsolescence makes us buy 2 useless sets at $50+ each just to be able to mop the floor. I am over it, I am going back to roller type galvanised mop buckets, they aren't as fun but at least I know they last more than 5 minutes without failing. No more gimmicks and garbage, where can I post back your failed inventions Vileda?

Easy and effective! – I was delighted with how the Vileda easy wring turbo spin mop and bucket set performed. It was very easy to use and cleaned my floors so effectively with just water. No need to add any detergents, water alone kills 99% of bacteria which is important to me having a toddler and puppy running around. My floors not only look sparkling clean but are… Read more ·  4

safe from any harsh chemicals. I love how easy it is to press down on the pedal with my foot and the mop wrings dry effortlessly with the turbo spin mechanism. This effectively prevents puddles of water on my floors and allows them to dry quickly, leaving my home fresh and clean in no time!

I Want To Rinse Free – Vileda to the rescue. A great system that doesn’t let you down. I really love the adjustable handle and the easy rinse spinner. The quality is outstanding. With the mop head coming off it makes cleaning perfect and that extra satisfaction. water after use. Overall it was a much better system than the traditional mop and bucket and it didn’t leave any dirty water all over the floor. With my sidekick hubby we make a great team trying out our products.

Mop head constantly flips and scratches my floors – I bought this mop and bucket set because I like the idea of spinning the water out of the mop. The mop is hopeless! Terrible!! Annoying!! Doesn’t work ever! The triangular plastic middle section of the mop head constantly flips over and scratches my floors! Nothing I’ve tried helps. I’ve tried spinning less, spinning more, incase the mop needs… Read more

more water or less, positioning the mop head etc but nothing works. This mop design is absolute and utter crap! I wish I never wasted my money on it.

Handle 22 cm shorter than standard. Peddle failed, but I fixed it – I clean houses 7 times per week. So far, been using mop for 6 years. I can't understand the problems people are having. Release button problem?... there's no release button. Dangerous design that can damage foot... I can't really fathom what that reviewer did. Collapsing handle?.. it can't collapse because the 3 sections are screwed into each… Read more

other. Instructions for use and assembly are very clear. ................ To wring, you grip the grey plastic section on the top of the handle, left foot flat on ground, pump the foot peddle with right foot 3x, and the metal pole and head spin fast, releasing the water. Floors dry fast. Can't understand what people are talking about saying it doesn't wring. ................ The handle is 122.5 cm. long. I'm 5' 6" and it's too short as I'm always in a hunched over position when using it. It's 22 cm shorter than my Sabco Super Swish mop handle! All other mops I've looked at have handles to shoulder height. This is why I gave it 3 stars. If you have large floors, mop often, or an average height man using it, be warned. Have been looking for a similar product with longer handle and machine washable heads, but so far haven't found one.......................... I wrote to the company about the short handle. They actually sent me a complementary handle extension. It's fantastic! I thanked them, but also said there's so many complaints on-line about the short handle, you should make longer ones. See their response below saying this won't happen...................................... The foot peddle started to fail after 3 years. My partner took it apart and just put it back together with a spray of lubricant. He didn't find anything worn or broken, but just doing that fixed it! .......................... UPDATE 5/10/22: 7 years use-Mop and bucket still working well. Without the handle extension though, I would not be using it in my business. 24/2/24 the handle snapped in half (from rust), but it lasted over 8 years. Because I'm happy with the product. I bought a replacement mop and bucket, which has been renamed Vileda Easy Wring & Clean Turbo, from Bunnings with 2 bonus refills for $57. Coles & Woolw didn't have ones with the bonus refills and were $57.50 .................................. 18 ths later the handle broke from rust again, I think in another section. 24/8/25 I am writing to them again for spare parts, as they suggested in their response below. Will include a photo of what I need............... Other reviewers have mentioned a 2 year warranty. The box doesn't say anything about it. It was manufactured 07/23 in China. ....................................... MOP HEADS: Some reviews say the mop head stays too waterlogged and even with spinning leaves the floor too wet. As you can see in the attachment, over time the strings shrink a lot and so hold way less water. The shrinkage and turning grey starts to occur within a month when used daily. I wash in cold water with detergent only. .............I now soak older mop heads in the bucket with water for a while before use, otherwise just putting the mop in water and taking it out, the head is way too dry. Having to replace the heads becomes an ongoing expense. I have purchased some cheaper from China that are just as good.... I never have a problem with the heads flipping, only on uneven surfaces.............. There are now new mop heads called Easy Ring Power, for "more cleaning power", which are designed differently and better for rougher outdoor tiles. When I buy more mop heads, I'm going to buy those only. They look like they'd last longer.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the poor customer service I experienced following my purchase of a Tiltamatic Mop. After minimal use, the mop stick fractured due to rust. I subsequently purchased a replacement unit four weeks ago, only to have the bottom section—the component that holds the sponge—crack in two. I contacted… Read more

your customer service team on Wednesday to report the issue. I received no response.

Given the necessity of maintaining hygienic floors—particularly as I have a 12-year-old child—I returned the defective product to Woolworths and replaced it with your “Massive Mop,” which also required the purchase of a compatible bucket. This cost me an additional $21.00.

When I followed up by phone this morning, your staff not only declined to respond meaningfully to my request for a Dust Tracker (as a courtesy), but also refused to connect me with a manager. I was advised that the manager was otherwise engaged—discussing sports, browsing the internet, and talking on the phone—and unavailable to speak to a customer.

I consider this level of service entirely unacceptable and well below the standards expected from a consumer-focused company. I request that this matter be reviewed and a resolution proposed promptly.

It does the job – I bought this because it was ‘on special’ in Coles. In hindsight, I have no idea if it was on special, given how their prices bounce around. But I’d been wanting a mop which I could use plain hot water with to wash the floors, and this seemed to fit the bill. For the last ~10 years, I’ve used a Vileda Pro Mist, and it’s left me wondering about… Read more ·  1

the residue of cleaning liquids left on tue floor (even though it is very diluted).

So I do like the ability to now wash my floors in plain hot water. I’ll use it intermittently between using the Pro Mist to balance out the cleaning.

It’s easy to use. And just like the Pro Mist, I like that the wash pads (is that the right word?) can be thrown in the washing machine. So when I have afew to wash, I do them all at once. And hang them to dry.

The problem with this Easy Wring and Clean product - is storage. Finding a place to keep the bucket, and mop, when not in use (the location of the Pro Mist can’t fit another there). But I’ll figure it out, as it I think it’s a good addition to my cleaning process.

My experience with Vileda Easy Wring adn Clean Turbo Mop – I have been using a Vileda Easy Wring and Clean Turbo Mop for the last 5 years and have had no issues except for the top handle spin grip coming off in the last 3 months as a result of many weekly tiled floor washes throughout the house including hallways, bathrooms and living areas. I recently decided to replace the Vileda bucket and mop with a … Read more ·  1

new set. I still have extra mop heads which I purchase online and which fit the newer mop head. During my research for reviews of what is available on the market, I came across a lot of negative reviews on this type of Vileda mop sets with people complaining about the mop handle being short, the mop head scratching the floor, etc. I also noticed similar negative reviews on Sabco and O-Cedar mops. I finally decided to purchase the Vileda Easy Wring Turbo mop as a result of not having had any problems with my previous Vileda purchase. I have compared both new and old buckets and mops and cannot find any difference in the quality or mechanism. I have done a couple of washes so far and find no problem with the microfibre mop soaking up the water and bucket spinner rinses the mop quite effectively. I am 5ft 9" in height and have no issues with the length of handle. From my observations, I would think that some people do not vacuum the floor prior to washing it, which is why some complain that they pick a lot of hair and other debris. Also when rinsing the mop, you have to make sure the mop is sitting correctly on the spindle before spinning it, which will make it easier to wring the water out of it. It is also best not to put too much weight on the handle so that the mop head slides nicely along the floor and finally, wipe the floor horizontally and then another wipe vertically to make sure all excess water has been mopped. As a disclaimer, I do not work or have any affiliation with Vileda. My feedback is purely to assist anyone having issues with this bucket. This review is strictly in realtion to the Vileda Easy Wring and Mop Turbo set and not for any other Vileda bucket types. Happy washing.

A Positive 'Spinner' – Bought this as my daughter uses one. It was her recommendation. I did read the previews on this prior to buying, but bought it anyway, and I was not disappointed with this product. My only comment is that Vileda should have supplied the refills (https://www.vileda.com.au/mop/mop-refills/power-3in1-refill) automatically, and dispense with the ones… Read more ·  1

that they supplied normally. But this has not deterred me from making a positive comment on it. By far the easiest mop I've used, (under $60.00) doesn't drip, like the bucket, like the spin 'dry', and even though it's a plastic mechanism, it runs smoothly.

Worth it – We use this bucket n mop at home and at our disable and mental health clients home as well. They all have this mop n bucket. Wringer makes it easy to clean and semi dry the mop for each time. Only one issue is the handle bar length is shorter than rest of the mops in market. Show details

Easy to use with good build quality - easy access to corners is a bonus – Purchased for $57 from Bunnings which included an extra two refill mop heads as an added bonus! Like many reviews posted here if you apply too much pressure to the triangular mop head it will scrape against the floor - a slight learning curve - but all you have to do is either apply less pressure or change the angle of mopping! The triangular… Read more

shape of the mop head attachment helps to reach corners easily which is a big plus!

Don't let the other reviews put you off - once you know how to use the mop head properly it becomes a breeze to clean floors in less time than a traditional mop. Ensure the mop threads are spread out evenly and not all bunched up so it doesn't scrape on your floors. With machine washable micro-fibre material and the added bonus of an additional two mop heads from Bunnings - it's great value for money.

Individuals over 6 feet (I'm 5 ft 9), may have an issue with the length of the pole as it could be a bit longer - back strain is a definite possibility for taller people.

The spin function in the bucket works well, just make sure you align the head correctly and all strands of the mop are within the bucket. A few people have complained that you need to make sure all the threads are aligned in the bucket correctly to spin easily - but if the mop head is already wet they easily slide into place!

Overall a good value for money at $57 from Bunnings with included +2 refills.

So dissatisfied with this. The whole thing is made of plastic and very flimsy. Attaching the handle to the mop head and after cleaning , trying to get it off is a nightmare. When using the mop, the plastic underneath scrapes along the floor. I don’t like anything about it. And would never buy again. I think the whole thing is badly designed. Show details

My first spin mop was from aldi loved it I had one head for walls one for floors. We just got new hard flooring right through our house so I thought I would treat myself to a new spin mop as we have so much to mop now. BIG MISTAKE I bought the Vileda turbo spin mop from Bunnings. friggin annoyed. Every time I had to put head on when I washed the mop in the bucket. the plastic that holds the head is so flimsy it's just not strong enough to hold it. Aldi mop clicks into place never has fallen off, I've had it for about 3 years. I have to say the bucket is good tho. Very disappointed dont think I have receipt to return it. Land fill!!! DO NOT BUY.. Was happy when I started to mop as the spinner wrung the mop head out so efficiently, quickly and easily. However, once I was mopping the floor the plastic kept scraping on the floor. What a stupid design. You have to spin the mop in the same direction you need to unlock the telescoping shaft. Enjoy wrestling with your mop instead of actually cleaning anything up.

Regretful purchase – This mop and bucket has me so annoyed. The heads just won't stay on the mop for me, it's impossible to use it now. New bigger mop head holds too much water and falls off when the mop is drawn out of the water – The bucket & spin concept is very good. A recent addition to refill mop head adds a much heavier mop. Don’t waste your money buying one – Waste of money, the spin part is good but the mop head just rolls up under the plastic head and then the edge of the red plastic head ends up scrapping the floor causing scratches. Forever spreading the mop out so this doesn’t happen. The mop is not affective and I didn’t realise when I brought it, that you can’t use really hot water only 30°. Show details
