I thought it would be good to try a local florist instead of an Australia-wide one, and I know I made the correct decision with Lily's Florist in the ACT. My order arrived at Calvary Private Hospital as booked, albeit I didn't get to see them as the recipient had just had surgery and wasn't in a position to take any pics. She later told me they were bright and beautiful so we'll just have to take her word for it! I would definitely use Lily's Florist again.

We are not an ACT company, so we cannot claim to be the ACT outfit you pictured. What we are is a family-owned Australian business (literally my wife Siobhan and I), and we have had a partner florist in Canberra making our deliveries there since 2008. So your instinct was sound, you wanted human hands nearby rather than a faceless national machine, and that is exactly what made yours, even if the family running it is up on the Tweed.
Calvary in Bruce, arrived as booked, to someone fresh out of surgery who could not lift a phone for a photo. You took her word that they were bright and beautiful, and her word is plenty. Good to have got it right for her, and we will be here when you need us again.
