YMMV with this place, lol – K, so first off, I've been here a number of times over the years, for all sorts of stuff.

The good: the price obviously, I've been hard pressed to find a place that'll do a checkup with xrays, or any filling for $99! I've needed a few large fillings done, and those can cost a lot at other dentists - often like, $250-400 per tooth - so I've appreciated having it done for so little. I've also had a few tooth extractions here (wisdom teeth that grew in without issues, but needed to be removed due to decay or growing too long), and that's $99 too. It's a steal, honestly, and both dentists who did it did a good job too. I've had a few dentists here that I think did a good job, including one guy who managed to tell me what the mystery gum sores I kept getting were (several other dentists had failed to figure it out). Some of them were very good at managing my rather high levels of dental anxiety. I also like that their offices are generally fairly accessible by public transit. The app & emails they send are also handy for getting your information, followup tips, etc.

The bad: I've also had some pretty iffy dentists here. One guy told me a tooth was fine when it clearly had a hole in the filling, and said a different tooth was fine when another dentist at the same practice said it was half dead. Another dentist confused me a lot, and put in an appointment for me for a bridge, without talking with me about it first (or if she did, it was all so confusing that I somehow missed something that big). One of them had to stick me with 6 (yes, 6) needles to get me frozen, and my jaw hurt for days afterwards... I later needed the tooth next to that one worked on, and went to a different practice that was more expensive, but also more convenient for me, and she froze me with one needle, no problem. Also, though part of the cheapness comes from them not having a reception, no receptionist *can* make it a bit tougher to deal with when an issue comes up (eg. when running late, booking issues on the app).

So, overall, well... I mean I've kept coming here for a few years now, because at the end of the day, the price often can't be beat, and they do have some good dentists here. But they have a bunch of dentists between all the locations, so they also have some not-so-good ones here, and it's only by trial and error that you'll figure out what's a good fit for you. I guess that's not so different from any other practice/when you're trying to find "your" dentist, which is why I didn't knock off too many stars here for it.
