3.5Property Management at its worse !!! – We were Tenants who paid $850 per week on time every time and kept the house spotless. We have been emailed that $2,320 is to be taken from the bond.
Now this property was moved into with the garden and hedges not done, the property had not been cleaned after being vacant for two months (the timber floor was dirty and dusty , the plumbing cranked as it was 70 years old each time you flushed the toilet or turned on a tap) being shown to prospective renters. Mid way through the Tenancy the property management was sold to [name removed] a former colleague whom l worked at LJ Hooker Bulimba with and the next door neighbour [name removed] who happened to be a Remax agent, announced by knocking on the door that the property was going to be put up for Auction. We fought to stop inspections and for the property sale to be delayed until we moved out. On the day of vacate the agent had furniture stylists moving in furniture and banging up pictures as we were cleaning, this was before the agent had even visited the property to do an official exit report l was working with a professional cleaner and spent eight hours doing final cleaning after preliminary cleaning had been completed the windows had been professionally cleaned and the hedge and garden had been professionally done. I left the house meticulous and could not believe when the property manager sent an email stating $2320 dollars in cleaning gardening and supposed damages were being charged.
People , beware , take photos and document everything for l now have to duspute this money grabbing agency for invalidated claims in which they are effectively seeking to take bond funds. $2320 from a $3400 Bond . Disgusting . And they get away with it because they have the power to give you a bad reference and place you on Tica if they feel so inclined.
