Three men showed up. They hadn't been told they had to pack anything so they didn't have any boxes and bought them from Bunnings. I worked out it cost them $160 we paid $275. We were moving from a three bedroom house to four bedroom townhouse. Granted the steps at the house were a little tricky but we had taken two loads to the house in our car ourselves and it was quick. There was only two of us. They literally just dumped things in boxes without packing them (except plates, cups etc). There was kitchen stuff in with bedroom things including knives. My 21 yr old son was going through one box with an oven mitt so he wouldn't injure himself. Boxes were marked randomly because of this. They couldn't be marked main bedroom because of course there was kitchen stuff in them. We had left the house to go to the new house because our cats were in distress but I offered to come back and called them three times to see how they were going (and what was taking so long). They put a dent in my fridge and I literally had to slow them down as they started coming through the front door because this was a brand new townhouse and they were about to damage the door walking though with items. There was literally no care taken with anything. I am still trying to find cords and so far Two Men and Truck has offered me $190 to pay for the damage to the door frame. Not only that when we went back to our old house they hadn't done the one bathroom at all. They did inside the bathroom cabinet and left everything else. Wth! And left every picture hanging on the wall including a picture from my honeymoon a picture I did myself and a picture From now deceased Apollo mission when he was in Navy in the US and crossed the Meridian. Precious memories could have been lost forever if this had been an interstate or international move. This was a subcontractored move. I could have ordered these random guys of the internet. They weren't wearing uniforms. They were subcontracted by the guy who had paid for name to use Two Men and Truck. They didn't actually have anything to do with that company much. And they seem to be blaming me because I left these grown men who were supposed to be professional packers to pack on their own instead of watching them. I was charged over a fortune for this move. It wasn't very far and it took them almost exactly 8 hours. Oh and I also found a lollipop stick stuck to a box. Neither of us eat lollipops. Thanks for present. Just adding the email they sent me from customer service offering $190 as a final offer because apparently my stuff was strewn all over the place and they aren't saying its trash. So that excuses the broken items, damaged walls, dented fridge and the dangerous uncovered knives that weren't even in the same box as the knife block for some unknown reason!
