Great trampoline but the yellow band on the mat frays and rips after 2 years – I purchased this trampoline in December 2010 and it has been great for my two children. However, in the last 12 months the yellow trim on the mat has started to rip and fray and looks terrible. Part of the reason I spent $1,345 on a Springfree was not just the safety aspect but I also presumed for the money this trampoline, including the mat would staying looking reasonably nice for at least 5 years. For this to happen after less than three years in unacceptable for the money spent. Springfree will not replace the mat as there is only a 2 year warranty on the mat and they state that you need to clean the mat at least twice a year with their cleaner or equivalent. Had I known that this would happen to the mat after 2 years and that we are supposed to scrub the mat every 6 months I would have just got a cheap $200 trampoline. The mat would have probably outlasted the Springfree mat and even if it didn't I could buy another cheap one and still be hundreds of dollars in front.
