I purchaed mine online and then I did the app download and synced the unit. I then connected it inside my camper via the usb power. I purchased ther 12 month subscription (why not great value). I go for a drive with the family school holidays and revied the tracking. Most impressed with iPhone app tracking detailing where I was. This is na good product, with good pricing and it works
