was entirely my fault, not setting it up right, I found it to be excellent and did everything I wanted from a GPS unit. The after sales service from Solid GPS and the team is excellent also. I have travelled extensively the past 4 years, SA, NSW, VIC, Qld, NT and the tracker has operated flawlessly, tracking my every movement. Another feature I like, is it also records my speed which my be useful at times. Recently I purchased a new tracker which has new features and as always, it operates flawlessly. The are basically a set and forget unit and as I said, they not only offer security but peace of mind. If by chance my vehicle was stolen, I am confident of locating it.

straightforward. It really is a "set and forget" type of device. While we are reasonably tech-savvy, we found the interface and the app very easy to navigate. The physical installation was a breeze too—no complicated wiring or professional help needed.

Battery Life We opted for the medium-sized tracker, which is rated to last 6 months on a single charge. So far, the battery performance has been outstanding. It’s a huge relief not having to worry about constant recharging or hardwiring it into the house batteries.

Customer Support We did have a small hiccup during the initial activation process, but the after-sales support was fantastic. They responded very quickly and had the issue sorted out in no time. It’s always reassuring to know there are real people behind the product who actually help when you need them.

Value & Connectivity The ongoing subscription costs are very reasonable, especially when you consider the technology involved. One of the best features is that the tracker can connect to multiple mobile carriers at once. Living in New Zealand and travelling in an RV, you know that signal can be hit-and-miss. Having the tracker automatically switch to whichever carrier has the best signal in the area gives us much more confidence that we can always track our vehicle.

Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-use GPS tracker for your caravan or motorhome, I can’t recommend SolidGPS enough. It’s well worth the investment for the peace of mind!

Great little device from this Australian-operated business. Does exactly what it says on the tin - solid GPS tracking from a compact device that can easily be concealed anywhere on the vehicle including inside trim panels etc. The battery lasts for ages and the app has all the features you will need. assigned to my account, which was handy. All I needed to do was charge it up and turn it on.

On the first test, it activated the geofence alert I had set up on the account, which was exactly what I had hoped for. It's only early days on the battery life, but it hasn't dropped below 100% in a month, so that's a good sign.

If anything changes with more use, I will come back and add more feedback, but I am confident so far.

Purchased 2 with the yearly subscription, to find that the subscription does not include the 4g notifications, which are an additional $39 a year, plus the up front cost. The app is not very good, and took about 10mins for emergency tracking to commence. Hope they can improve the app!

Pro's: 1. the portable rechargeable units are very small and easily hidden. No wiring required. 2. SolidGPS have great little window stickers telling thieves, "Find another vehicle" 3. It's borderline ok. Having used this in earthmoving equipment other a few years it's not the greatest tracker. Using other trackers for similar price puts it to shame. Only good thing is it's Aussie made. Shop around.

Great customer service! First unit didn't work as expected. Support tried some fixes, but didn't work so they were happy to arrange a replacement. New unit works seamlessly, and got an extra month of 4g access for my trouble. Show reply

I purchased my 1st tracker in 2022 and it worked just as it should. Impressed me enough to purchase a 2nd in 2023. Also worked as it should although both units at times have trouble detecting the boundary movement in (not a deal breaker). Purchased a 3rd tracker in late 2024 but that's when it went a little sour. weeks. The guys at Solid GPS were really good and either replaced the unit or the battery. Turns out they allegedly had a bad batch of batteries. However, nothing they did seemed to resolve the problem. After multiple attempts with new units and batteries the problem still the same, battery just not lasting. May 2026, I finally returned it. The first 2 units are still work just fine.

I certainly have no regrets choosing the Solid GPS tracker. Not only does the unit provide all the features I need to protect my classic car, but also the after sales service has been well beyond what I would have expected. mode via the app it plots your position every few minutes on the map and would be very easy to follow if it was stolen. With the amount of young car thieves around now this tracker gives great piece of mind and ensures my daughter will get her inheritance.

The Solid GPS tracker came highly recommended and I found: - it's easy to activate - it provides accurate readings on location - it has good battery life What I find most attractive is the Watchdog mode, which is sort of a perimeter warning and alerts the owner if the vehicle is moved from it's stationary position. The Solid GPS unit works extremely well. Excellent signal to 4G/5G when on the move The newer models of the trackers seem far more sensitive than the earlier models. recharge needed depending upon what size internal battery you get. This means it's easy to hide the tracker anywhere. Cost is pretty fair and well worth the money. Recently, I had an issue with my old tracker (it was about 5-6 years old). The team at Solid were very helpful in resolving the issue and responded to emails very promptly. Highly recommended.
