Solid GPS

Warning do not buy this product it does not track on time . It sent me a message that the car was found five hours later . Going to get rid of it go elsewhere not happy

I had an issue with my Solid GPS where it lost signal in certain instances. Michael called it correctly when he asked me to move the unit down lower so that signal can travel through the windows easier than the twin sheets of aluminium composite used on walls and roof on the van Show reply

Easy enough for a tech idiot! – A couple of hiccups at the start, but this was a technical issue and the support team at Solid were straight onto it and had my GPS unit up and running within hours. No issues since, and the unit has reliably told me accurately of my van's movements 100% of the time. Strongly recommend this product! Show 2 replies

We have invested significant money into our motorhome and having the peace of mind of being able to locate it in the event it is stolen is priceless. We added a 2nd unit to our car, so that we have the same peace of mind when we are away in our travels. Good investment. Show reply

I started using Solid GPS a long time ago (possibly as long as 5 or 6 years ago or even a little longer than that). I was looking for a product and thought GPS Solid would suit my needs. Ordering, installing and following their clear instructions was dead easy. Getting used to the app took a little longer, but was also easy after a while. I was so… Read more ·  1

comfortable with the product that I ordered a one for my second car. The integration of the second vehicle was seamless. The most important thing about this company though, is the service you receive from the team. Every time something has been unclear or if I have had issues with the tracker, it has taken one email to the team and a response within a day from them. Sometimes it has taken a few emails to figure out what the problem was, but it has been resolved every time. I am grateful for the after purchase support, patience and kindness the team has provided to a non technically minded person. If I can work with the app and the product, then anyone can. Thanks team of Solid GPS. Taina

From memory it was 2022 and i was preparing to go travelling around Australia again. For security and peace of mind I wanted a gps tracker so did a google search. I came across your website and after reading about your history and the fact it was an Aussie product decided to go with Solid GPS. After initial teething problems with the unit, which… Read more ·  1

was entirely my fault, not setting it up right, I found it to be excellent and did everything I wanted from a GPS unit. The after sales service from Solid GPS and the team is excellent also. I have travelled extensively the past 4 years, SA, NSW, VIC, Qld, NT and the tracker has operated flawlessly, tracking my every movement. Another feature I like, is it also records my speed which my be useful at times. Recently I purchased a new tracker which has new features and as always, it operates flawlessly. The are basically a set and forget unit and as I said, they not only offer security but peace of mind. If by chance my vehicle was stolen, I am confident of locating it.

After seeing SolidGPS recommended dozens of times by fellow members in our Facebook RV group, we finally decided to pull the trigger and get one for our motorhome. Every single person in the group that has one had something positive to say about them, and now that we own one, I can see why. Installation & Ease of Use The setup was incredibly… Read more ·  1

straightforward. It really is a "set and forget" type of device. While we are reasonably tech-savvy, we found the interface and the app very easy to navigate. The physical installation was a breeze too—no complicated wiring or professional help needed.

Battery Life We opted for the medium-sized tracker, which is rated to last 6 months on a single charge. So far, the battery performance has been outstanding. It’s a huge relief not having to worry about constant recharging or hardwiring it into the house batteries.

Customer Support We did have a small hiccup during the initial activation process, but the after-sales support was fantastic. They responded very quickly and had the issue sorted out in no time. It’s always reassuring to know there are real people behind the product who actually help when you need them.

Value & Connectivity The ongoing subscription costs are very reasonable, especially when you consider the technology involved. One of the best features is that the tracker can connect to multiple mobile carriers at once. Living in New Zealand and travelling in an RV, you know that signal can be hit-and-miss. Having the tracker automatically switch to whichever carrier has the best signal in the area gives us much more confidence that we can always track our vehicle.

Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-use GPS tracker for your caravan or motorhome, I can’t recommend SolidGPS enough. It’s well worth the investment for the peace of mind!

Solid GPS delivery was fast, and it was easy to set up. The features are great, perfect for monitoring my boat that is in a pen on the water at a yacht club. I turned on the Watchdog mode and that works well - it's good that it turns off after the first alert so I don't keep getting messages whilst using the boat myself. I'm not getting any false… Read more ·  1

alerts with the slight movement of the boat on the water which was a concern of mine with other trackers.

I'm really happy with the tracker. It's an affordable no frills product that works well. It's cheap insurance if anything bad happens. I bought it mainly for my car but also put it in my caravan at times. Show reply

Absolutely great bang for your buck! True Aussie product with with responsive, professional customer support. I will recommend the product to anyone given Melbourne is now the car theft capital! 10 out of ten! Show reply

I have found the tracker is not keeping up with my location while travelling around Australia, especially when not in a town. I have twice reached out to support in the last month, but have never received a reply.

Everything was working great for 2 weeks while I tested it. Then the day I drive to Newcastle and dropped it at a mechanic (the reason I purchased it - to monitor where it goes), it stopped working. Now I have a car I don't know it's location (the app thinks it's still at home). Response was quick (That's the 1 star), however zero assistance. The… Read more

response was to "Turn the tracker off for 10 minutes and turn it back on, Place it inside your vehicle, Monitor it after a trip". Anyone who wants to steal it will hopefully let me know a few days before they steal it so I can follow the three steps.

Absolute rubbish. Doesn't give live updates. Goes days with it showing it is not where it should be. Had to charge it 3 weeks after it was already charge. No support from Solid GPS. Will never buy again. Recommend avoiding this and just getting Apple GPS trackers

I highly recommend this product, it does what is stated, the Solid GPS team are easy to communicate with and extremely responsive and helpful. The tracker works as advertised and the app features are simple and logical. The annual subscription fee is minimal and delivers piece of mind knowing my caravan is being monitored 24/7 and I will be… Read more ·  1

alerted if it is moved outside of the geo’ boundary I have setup. If you’re thinking about a GPS tracker seriously consider the Solid GPS. I am a customer, I have no affiliation with the company and I have not been paid to write this review.

Found these guys on Google & the simplicity got my attention. 5 years in & simply does what it says on the box giving me total peace of mind on caravan location with simple steps if the worst happens & it's not where I left it. Customer service is always A1 & couldn't be happier with the help & service to change over to a new tracker recently.… Read more ·  1

I've declined the offer of a month free tracking for the review, more than happy to promote this product gratis.

This is a great product that is completely independent of the item that you wish to track. I didn't want to modify our car to suit the tracker, I just wanted one to hide and only pull it out to charge. This product delivers in the fact of its long battery life and a great app to monitor it from and incredible accuracy with its location. I do recommend. Show reply

Excellent product at an amazing and reasonable price! Only feedback is if the app was more native to iOS (mapkit for rendering, Liquid Glass UI) as opposed to a web wrapper of sorts. Develops seem very responded to this and I’m hoping it gets implemented soon! Show reply

Im very happy with my Solid GPS tracker, it was sent out to me very quickly and was simple to set up. When I had some questions on the operation of the device the guys at Solid GPS were very helpful and efficient in getting back to me with answers to my queries. Definately would recommend this product and the great service provided. Show reply

I have used Solid GPS for years in my caravans and it has given me a real piece of mind knowing that if ever it was stolen I could get it back because insurance does not necessarily pay out enough to replace the van like for like. An added feature is an odometer on your Dashboard so you know how far the vehicle or caravan has travelled. Great for… Read more ·  1

planning servicing on a caravan. I recently purchased another Solid GPS and again it works perfectly. I looked at a number of options to Solid GPS but they were not up to what I required. I thoroughly recommend Solid GPS to anyone who wants to keep track of their car, caravan or motorcycle, anything for that matter. Any questions are quickly answered online which is a bonus and great service. 10/10.

I found out about the Solid GPS tracker from a friend who saw it on FB. He was also considering getting something like this for his cars but wasn't sure which way to go and like me, was on a budget. We both ordered them around the same time. 2 each. I love the peace of mind it has given me knowing I'll be alerted if my car moves beyond the… Read more ·  1

boundaries I set in the app. The sms and email notifications are great and advise when the car leaves the area and when it returns. The GPS also plots the route the car is travelling in case it needs to be tracked.

Thanks for a great product and after sales service.

Compact tracker that gives peace of mind. Having had a motorbike stolen, SoldGPS lets you know where your bike is at all times. Sharing your dashboard is quick and easy. User since 2021. Show reply

I found out about Solid GPS via facebook. I wanted it straight away and was able to pick up direct from store. I use it primarily for security (caravan). It's peace of mind for me knowing that at the tap of an app, I can see exactly where it is 24 hours a day. The boundary alert is also… Read more ·  1

a handy tool. It is easy to conceal and only needs charging every 12 months. I am very happy with the product and would recommend this to anybody looking for that added bit of security.
