I chose Smart House Solar for my battery and invertor install, located approximately 40minutes south of Perth. My goal was to reduce my power consumption from the grid. Originally I liked the Fox 42kw battery and 10kw 3ph inverter, but due to supply issues these units were unavailable in time to gain full advantage of the larger federal and local government rebates on offer prior to the end of March. The Smart House Solar rep discussed alternative options and I ended up purchasing a 40kw FelicityESS battery and 10kw 3ph inverter from Smart house Solar which was installed within just a few days of purchase. The Installer "Sheng" was efficient and neat, he also arrived when he said he would. The backup and technical support from Smart House Solar has been great to get the best out of my battery and cant praise the SHS team highly enough
Follow-up · Total cost of my system was $9500 Install took 1 and a half days Currently saving about 40% of my previous bills. The reason for my lower than ideal savings is my solar panel setup is currently only 6.5kw, which takes a reasonable time to recharge the battery on a typical winters day. My plan is to upgrade my solar panels to 15kw in the near future to provide a faster recharge potentially reducing my off grid consumption to next to nothing
