Thank you, Edel. Sending a rose to your husband is the part I like most here. Men hardly ever get flowers, so when one turns up for a bloke on his birthday it tends to knock him sideways in a way it wouldn't for anyone else. Nine days without dropping a petal is the real tell, though. Petal drop is the first thing to go on a rose that has been sitting about, so one still holding after a week and a bit was a young rose, looked after properly on its way out to you. The size follows from the same thing, a good grade of stem rather than a filler. Arundel is just up the motorway from us here at Kingscliff. Good to hear it is still going. Thanks for the review :)
