Currently heading into week three and have been told one part is still on back order from Actron. So I’m thinking we will go a month in this heat without any aircon for a four year old system still under warranty! Obviously far from pleased.

Wouldn't recommend – We've had the system for 3 years and it's been problematic from the start. Since installation, the controller, indoor/outdoor unit boards and other… Read more

components have had to be replaced due to faults. Althought covered under warranty, this is frustrating and inconvinient. The NEO controller is flakey and updates from Actron have often casued more issues. The last one took over 14 hours to update. Had to jump through hoops at one stage as they were adamant the wifi connectivity wasn't sufficient. Our router is 10 feet from the controller and has direct line of sight. It turned out the hardware on the outdoor board wasn't compatible with a remote update.... Performance is adequate. We oversized the system putting in an 18KW unit as we have high ceilings in half of the house. The three quotes we had advised a 12-16KW was suitable. We use it mostly during winter for heating. It can take an hour to raise the house temprature by 6 degrees, even with an outdoor temprature above 7 degrees, so no issues with the outdoor unit suffering from ice build up.

Overall, for the money, I'm far from happy with the purchase.

Great product – Called Actron and they recommended All General Air Conditioning so I called them for a quote. I needed to upgrade my 20 year ol daikin ducted system.… Read more

My airies was installed with 5 zones and a neo (WiFi controller). The unit is much quieter, easy to operate and cools the house so much quicker. Very happy with both the product and the install team

Took some time to fix but the NEO Connect App works on Android now (version 1.0.1 (1404)) – 3/6/25: The app does work but the UX is still really poor on Android. In order for it to work, I have to: 1. Open the app 2. Close the app 3. Open… Read more

the app 4. And then I can start to turn the aircon on/off and switch on the settings I'd like....

Opening the app the first time, it's not possible to tell if what I tapped on worked, there's no response (ie there's no indication that I was able to turn the aircon or select the areas I want the aircon to work in) --- 19/9/24: Indeed the day has come. The app on Android has been fixed. There is minimal lag now. The real test for us will be in summer, using the app to remotely turn on the a/c. --- 28/8/23: The physical air con itself is good. We've had it for almost a year in summer and winter. BUT one of the main reasons we spent thousands on this was to have the ability to control the a/c remotely.

The Neo Connect app on Android does NOT work. It seemingly looks like it would but then the app either loses connection, a/c can't be reached and/or the app freezes or lags. I have left feedback on Google Play and received a useless response to restart the controller. Again, seemingly worked for a little bit, a day, couple of days, couple of hours? but then back to square one.

You can see now that the rating for the app has gone down to 1.2! I'm not the only one with this problem.

I would not recommend purchasing. I wish I did a better job of checking that I could actually control the a/c remotely from my phone. I feel mislead. I will be making a complaint to the ACCC. You shouldn't be advertising something that doesn't work. I just hope others don't fall into this trap.
