Very happy with my TXC20EQ solid wood cedar top classical guitar. The instrument is beautifully crafted and the service provided by Artist Guitars was excellent. I am happy to recommend this company.

Artist Guitars JM300 – I've had this Artist JM300 for a few years now. When I first received the guitar I was a little disappointed with the sound, being a bit wooden or… Read more

dull. Knowing that these solid wood guitars change tone with use, I persisted and also quickly replaced the strings with some better quality.

Now I'm quite happy with the JM300 as my goto guitar, to take to casual settings or sitting ready to go on the stand.

Quality is average, the hole around the fishman was poorly cut and a couple of small crackes radiate from the corners. The machine heads were never fully screwed in and the adhesive cosmetic covers on their back peal off. These little problems I fix myself. Otherwise, the size is convenient and the sound has improved with age.

Great value – Paid $159 online including shipping, and delivered 2 days later (interstate) - very fast. The guitar looks well made, and plays well. Built in tuner… Read more

is easy to use and the pickup works well. The webbing strap is excellent.

The bag is somewhat difficult to zip up around the body, and it would have been great if it would open further.

A 9V battery is included for the preamp.

The control panel has the tuner (with graphic display), high, mid, low and presence on EQ, a phase button, and volume knob.

Really impressed for the price. Value for money, good sound

Super Budget Option – I wanted something to enable me to rotate my go to guitars to a room several use. Space saving, portability and quickness of set up were key. I… Read more

would not keep my higher priced one's on it. If you forget to be careful you can knock guitars together and any nitro finish would react with the rubber cushioning. OK easy enough to wrap cotton around the rubber for the latter, but it's not what I want it for, personally. I also would not mind if the separating arms were a little longer, but it's a small point.

My guitars go in and out well enough.

I should say nitrocellulose finish is a real higher end option. I doubt it's seen on any guitar sub $2k min. Some love it, some don't.

It went together very easily. Hardly any of my usual flat pack cuss word mutterings. It feels plenty robust enough for the home use job I wanted it for.

For the $52 price, inclusive of delivery, this is a super budget option, overall, IMO.
