because Unlike Addidas it actually takes into account important specifications such as size of shoe , recreational use such as running & unisex. Literally narrowed my search from 130 to 2, # a bargain price one for $140 & another for $160. That's what customers want simplicity.

son. He didnt start wearing them until Mar 2024 and wore them a maximum of 15 times. After a few wears damage appeared to the shoes - the sides were splitting away from the soles and the outer layer was peeling away. I went back to Athletes Foot on this who raised a claim with Asics who told them it was not a manufacturing defect and wear and tear. Very expensive boots to develop major faults after relatively short period of use. Not sure I will be purchasing Asics again as the customer service and poor quality of their product in the instance has been a total let down.

this particular pair to gym a couple times a week and that's it, they really do not work hard as I mostly do weight training and a bit of stepper machine. Already the backs are perishing which is disappointing as they were pricey.
All my other ASICS are much older then this pair and have I done many miles on them, still perfect.
Won't purchase again.
Product has worn through after minimal wear & tear. Lasted 9 months. Other ASICs shoes have lasted twice as long and been worn way more often. Fabric seems to be weak
