Genetix Lipo Fyre Protein powder - NOT recommended – I found the taste to be course and not smooth like other similar proteins that I have recently tried. Tastes sweat but only has 2.4g of sugar per… Read more

serve. It has adequate to high protein per serve at 31.1g per 40g scoop. The flavour I was trying was vanilla ice cream flavour. Also, there was an aftertaste that was a little unpleasant. Sufficient to say that I will not be exploring or using any more of the Lipo Fyre Protein powders. There are others out there with the same, if not higher protein per serve, have less of a sweet taste and are a heck of a lot smoother to drink. The flavour at the time of drinking was unremarkable and could certainly be a stronger hint of the flavouring. The staff at the local sporting nutrition shop did mention that it was not a high uptake product, but I decided to give it a go. They also offered that if I did not like it to return it for a refund. However, I am prepared to "suck it up" and finish the product. I certainly do not recommend this product to use. I gave it a star for value for money, another for 31.1g of protein per serve and one for low level of sugar, despite the sweet taste. As stated, there are other products out there that offer similar protein and sugar levels per serve, that have a more pronounced and pleasant taste and are just a kind to your wallet.

Protein went off before expiry date – Stay away from this brand. They are not honest. I wrote a 1 star review on their website and they didn't publish it, nor did Nutrition Warehouse for… Read more

the same product.

I bought butterscotch flavour along with vanilla and chocolate, and not long after purchase, it went off, way before it's expiry date. The chocolate and vanilla bought at the same time, stored in the same place was still good but the butterscotch smelt and taste like yoghurt that was off.

Genetix Nutrition wouldn't replace it untill I sent it back at my cost. I did. They tested it but didn't taste it and deemed good for consumption, what a joke.

They offered me my postage and that was it. These guys are not professional and are cheapskates if you ask me. Like who would go through all this trouble to deny their customer a replacement.

I will never buy their brand again because it goes off too soon and they are the worst to deal with.
