Faulty fan motor – Bought a Medescan Rainbow mist on June 2024. After 6 months of usage, no mist was coming out of the spout. Call customer service and was told that… Read more

the fault could be caused by the faulty fan motor. A replacement of the base unit was sent to me by the Company. After sale service was excellent. However, after receiving the base unit, on the very night when I used it, the mist was flowing out initially but stopped in the middle of the night. When I got up in the morning, I was shocked to discover the towel that I had placed below the unit was soaking wet with water. Water was also found on top of the whole dresser top and thus damaging the dresser top. It is highly concerning and dangerous, as I was not expecting such an effect from the humidifier. Overall, I am not impressed by the product (only lasted me 7 months and despite a replacement base unit was sent to me, it did not function as advertised and it has caused further damage to my dresser). The after sale service was excellent. Maybe the Company should review this particular product and action on it. I have written to the company and awaiting for reply.

Really good steam vaporiser – After much research I bought this brilliant $50 vaporiser from a reputable Australian medical goods company. It’s very quiet, the body doesn’t get… Read more

hot and lasts over 12 hours on one fill. It releases a gentle but sufficient amount of steam for a good nights rest. I bought this after returning a noisy and hot Vicks vaporiser. This unit is well designed and easy to empty, refill and has a switch on the top. The heating unit twists easily into the bowl. Interesting it was a strange red night light built in but I would have preferred white. Finally it came with 5 year warranty. Happy to have bought this considering the rubbish on the market.

Excellent product – We use it every now & then. A good quality product & functions very well. And most importantly easy to clean!

I purchased the nebuliser and it worked a couple of times. But the plastic bowl with medication started having holes...perhaps it was bad quality… Read more

plastic. It got replaced by the company but after that, the hose started to get blocked, so the system wouldn't work. I rang and was told to just order more hoses but the same thing will happen over and over again. I thought there would be a way of cleaning your system rather than repurchasing continuously parts unless they break which would be a different thing. I didn't think it was the right solution. In total I've only used it 5 times. And I have given up. Not only because it's not expensive means I gave to be treated that way!!!!! No thankyou

Product and service both disappointing. One of the purchased pair of Bluetooth earbuds/hearing aids failed from the start. Medescan offered a free… Read more

replacement set, and provided a prepaid label for postage. Then one of the replacement pair failed in the same way, and I asked for my money to be refunded.

At this stage Medescan told me they hadn't received the original returned pair - and required me to prove I had sent it. I needed to visit my post office, who provided proof the item was delivered back to Medescan. Finally, Medescan required me to return the second faulty pair before they agreed to refund my money.

The process was time-consuming and annoying, requiring me to return two sets of failed products, and seek proof of delivery when Medescan was unwilling or unable to do this themselves. Staff let me know it was against their policy to refund my money, and called it a gesture of goodwill.

I won't be buying from here again. Medescan no longer sell the product I purchased.
