over 10 minutes. It was on sale for $8 & the mechanism fascinated me enough to try it out. Putting on gel in my underarms felt unusual at first, but I got over that when I noticed that this product worked effectively in blocking both odur & sweat for an entire day! I can still smell it on myself after two showers with vigorous scrubbing of my armpits with a strongly scented soap. After trying to wash it off, it smells less like the initial Lysol and fake potpourri and more like menthol cigarettes and cheap aftershave. I should have known this low grade company couldn't make a good product. I'd rather smell like Brut or Old Spice than this trash.
