bad. More concerning is the plastic coating on the stainless steel that is peeling into your cups and plates. If you pull the drainer out too far, the water leaks below the tray. It's a real shame, because the item looks amazing, but for $250, I would rather buy a Joseph brand, use it for 2 years, throw it away and buy another one, and still have change, compared to this brand.

also it has a quiet closing lid, it has an extra lid that holds the bin liner in nicely so it won't slip off the lip. Money well spent, it's one of those items that you know you paid a little more for but well worth it!!!
