leather is perfect and the rebound is consistent. Ive tried speedballs from almost every brand and this has to be the best as the rest make a generic ball that seems to be a copy of a copy. Love the poly carb swivel makes keeps the ball in line and dosnt eat through the loop and its not the cheap plastic that cracks. they are just now beginning to show some signs of decline. I dont spar with them as I prefer Mexican style gloves for that because of the weight distribution
