car, in the rain & the cost was very reasonable. He was so pleasant to deal with. I forgot to ask his name, but noticed on the receipt it said "Operator Riley". You are an asset to Supercheap, Riley. Many thanks again for your wonderful service.

one tiny miracle – This is not about a big expensive appliance that went wrong or a dealer that treated you badly. Its about a very inexpensive product that solves a… Read more

problem just so simply, its a wonder. Had a screw in my rear tyre which caused a slow leak and consequently to price a new one. Ouch. Around 360 dollars the man said. I asked, "oh golly, for two?" he said, "No, that's for one" I left the store and drove to about 4 different wreckers but glad i didn't go down that path. Then i thought, "there must be a way to repair a puncture effectively without taking off the tyre" and took to google and the youtube. I've never before heard of a tyre repair kit like these and most tyre men will talk you out of it especially if the puncture is close to or on the shoulder as mine was.

The kits range in price enormously from 9.99 to 40 or more dollars at the auto shops but are all essentially the same. After some long hard thinking I decided it was worth a try at the least.

I bought an 8 piece kit at supercheap auto for $9.99 after thoroughly ascertaining there was little difference between the more expensive offerings.

I watched a few youtube clips for confidence only soon to realize that the job would be very simple without any mysteries, special skill or other tools.

I don't think it's necessary to explain the process as you can watch it on umpteen youtubes.

Like Henry Ford famously said, "if you think you can or you think you can't, either way you are right" If you think you are reasonably practical give it a go. I can tell you it's easier than changing the rubbers in your windscreen wipers or making a pizza.

I can report that the Supercheap product works like a charm. In my case the repair held up for 6 months until driving up and down a rocky road at holiday resort several times dislodged the bond and I was back to square one. I repeated the exercise in the same location but I already knew my chance was slim. It failed not because the kit was at fault but in reality, a previous repair site is not really suited to a second go. It did hold up for several weeks, but eventually i tired at the frequent pumping up of the slow leak all over again and purchased new tyres

This kit will get you back on the road, I have proof of that providing you are near a trye pump. The repair can also be done while the tyre is inflated it is claimed I would now believe.

The only downside; the kit comes with a sealed pack of 4 to 6 plugs or ropes which are coated in a sticky goo, not in itself the problem, but it goes off once the pack is opened. My second repair, six months later, when I reached for kit I had saved, found the gooey stuff had dried out somewhat and far less effective. I am full of praise for the product for first time use, ease of application, and reasonable life but am not in a position to say it will last the life of a tyre. Its certainly worth having for emergencies and it works to the point of disbelief honestly. at ten dollars for a one off it is a small miracle

So Easy To Use – I can see the company have looked at traditional designs and have produced something far better. You can wire it up without everything springing out. Job done in 2mins. Well done Super Cheap Auto!

SCA Isuzu DMax Moulded Dashmat Review – Purchased a Supercheap (SCA) Moulded Dashmat for my Isuzu 2021 Dmax (140kw) cab in Oct24. Placed it for fitting on my Dmax dash, & it became obvious… Read more

it wasn't well cut, let alone 'moulded'. Most particularly the driver console area. No amount of adhesive is going to compensate for the bad fit. E.g.Vent alignment was terrible; bulge of the console part was so poor, it couldn't be held down with tape. Frankly, whilst a refund was an option, the inconvenience of driving back to the store, plus the disappointment, I just couldn't be bothered. So binned it. My recommendation:- Pay a bit more for a quality custom made, correctly moulded & fitted one.
