would permeate the kitchen. Now there is no aroma. There was a time when the taste of the coffee would be like gold as the name on the wrapper suggests but no longer. Unfortunately, I purchased a 4 pack which I'm now contemplating throwing out. I am unsure if this is simply a bad batch of coffee beans or if the company has sourced cheaper coffee beans, but it no longer is the " GOLD" standard of coffee.

very dark & the smell was awful. I made a coffee & it was so disgusting I couldn't drink it. If I could give this zero stars I would. They are going in the bin. Very disappointed to have wasted my money. Only good thing was I bought 500grams & not 1kg.

intensity and different in flavour but maybe not as much as the ridiculous (9/10) intensity scale suggests. Beans allow/encourage quite a fine grind. A decent Espresso maker may be needed to get the best from them. Definitely one of the most complex supermarket coffee marques, and to my palette, noticeably better than similar respected brands.
