installed in remote. It does however make some slight tapping noises on higher speeds due to vibration but is intermediate. Moves good air on all speeds and good variety of speeds. Light is also good too. The blades could be improved on though since they are now slightly bowing but I guess it’s cheap plywood.

fans from K Mart which were far superior. The manufacturer could not even be bothered aligning the front and back grills .. the joys of a poorly plastic ring await you (if you are unlucky enough to buy one you'll know what I mean). Dont worry. about the remote btw, it never works from distance..utterly defeating the purpose. You've been warned!

Arlec. It is super efficient (5 watts). I have a few of these fans and use them to extract smells from both areas of the house where there is kitty litter as well as when having a shower. I run them continuously for hours, they do the job. Other standard exhaust fans run on average at 25 watts using 5 times more electricity. One of the fans is above the shower area so provided you turn it on before having a shower it does extract the steam.

unbalanced fan blade of mount positions for it. Turning it off at the unit is also a pain as you have to hold the knob for about three seconds and when it beeps off it’s will quickly beep back on when you release the knob. Sometimes having to do this 3-4 times just to turn it off. This is the second fan of this model because the first ones blades randomly explodes off when set at the highest setting. Luckily all the broken blades that flew off stayed within the “cage area” and bunnings replaced it. The wobble/vibration is annoying but have read otger mention it’s a feature of this fan.

supposed to go over both grills to hold them together. It is an exercise in futility trying to get this to work. Whoever at Arlec thought this was a good idea should be fired, rehired and fired again. Taking it back and buying another brand.
