I'm on my 2nd Holman 3130H and the batteries are rubbish. I can not source a battery by itself which is why I bought the second unit. I should have… Read more

known better. The battery died in the first one and so did the 2nd one. This item is still on the shelves and should be withdrawn from sale until they fix this problem. I've bought both of them from the same retailer (Bunnings Tuggerah) and they admit that if they held a stock of replacement batteries they would be a big seller. Thoroughly annoyed to say the least and from reading the other reviews I can see there's no point in getting a replacement unit under warranty as it will only be the same situation over again. Holman this is not good enough!

Nozzles are fantastic – I didn't buy the full sprinkler as shown in this product photo, but I bought the nozzles separately which are marketed to do the same and installed… Read more

them. They are incredible, they really do throw the water as far as they say, and as they tend to throw the water quite high they can get over small plants. I have been able to plug off 11 sprinklers from my front lawn as I get complete coverage now with 6 of these, and there is absolutely no dry spots anymore!!

Absolute rubbish for a hose. Supposedly good for up to 1200 kpa (our water pressure is 700kpa max), claims to be UV stabilised and has a 6 year… Read more

warranty. It certainly isn't the cheapest of the brands though and we expected better from a Holman product..

UNFORTUNATELY we threw the receipt out (inadvertently) as we have never had hose issues like this before - even on some of the cheap(er) stuff we have purchased in the past from other suppliers.

The hose lasted all of 2 weeks with fairly regular use and seems to start to swell badly (about a third bigger) when under pressure - especially if pressurised on a warm day for long periods. This then results in leaks at the fittings, slipping out of the fittings or expanding and splitting the fitting completely.

On seeing other reviews (after the issues) it appears that others have found it to be of a poor quality that warrants a return.

Holman Retractable hose reel Aussie made quality product – This product is great for many reasons, 1) Australian owned and made, 2) quality is excellent, 3) Price is good, 4) Warranty on hose and body. The… Read more

hose reel comes with good easy to follow instructions that even a novice can follow. This is my second one I have fitted around my hose and will add more. My only suggestion is to include a drilling template in or on the lid flap of the box to make for easier mounting, I took a pic of the template I drew on the inside flap for reference, otherwise I am one happy installer and user of this product. Well done on the charcoal colour as well it is a good and pretty option.

Water Leaking from the Spray Gun – It felt sturdy, but after reviewing the reviews, I found mentions of water leaking. The product I purchased also had water dripping from the bottom… Read more

of the spray gun, which made me wonder if this was a design flaw or a chronic issue. Considering the price, I’ve decided to read reviews more thoroughly before purchasing it next time.

Looks Good - Will Fail – Looks the part in-store when you're trying to buy reliable (as though you can do that at Bunnings) but lasts about a year and will be frustrating you… Read more

well before then. Mine is full of corrosion and does not shut off properly anymore, and the rotating bezel for the spray settings isn't locking in place well.

I'm well over wasting money on stuff that fails quickly and happy to pay more for quality, so I've abandoned Bunnings gardening products completely in favor of Hoselink.

Didn’t last – I purchased my Holman Combo Gun Set from Bunnings for under $10. It seemed like good value at first as other products were nearly double the price.… Read more

The 9 function gun broke after a few months. A small bit of plastic holding the trigger to the hose gun snapped off and now it is unusable. It’s a real shame that Holman skimped out the quality with this little plastic bit because it was a really nice hose gun to use. The shower function was great and I was impressed with the centre function that jetted out water for pressure cleaning.

To be fair, I may have dropped it on soft lush green grass a couple of times but I didn’t expect the product to be made as fragile as it is.

Very Poor Hose – I bought this hose several months ago thinking I would pay a bit extra and get a good, no kink hose. Not so. It is the worst hose I could have… Read more

picked. Despite it have a ‘no kink’ guarantee it does, every metre or so. It is also very soft which makes it worse so you can’t roll it up when finished watering because this make the kinking worse. Also because it’s so soft the hose sprayer connector won’t stay on so while you’re busy try to remove the kinks the sprayer comes off and you end up getting an unplanned shower as well. I wouldn’t recommend buying a Holman hose at all.

piece of rubbish that I have ever come across. I am a fool for not saving the box before trying it, so can't return it. I wanted a reel without a hose because I already had a high quality expensive one . I have just moved into my brand new home and was wanting one like the one I had for 29years. I assembled the reel, drilled three holes into my new house for the bracket, fitted the reel and attempted to wind on my hose. The reel would not stay on the bracket without holding it with my other hand, it would slide along the bracket and not stay in any one position, the winder handle is so thin and feeble that it bends and hits the winder frame with each turn. I am disappointed that Bunnings would sell this cheap junk. I am disappointed that Holman actually sells this low quality product. I am mow left with three holes in my house and a piece of rubbish that I would put in the bin before giving it to anyone.
