Started as lasting forever till repaired eventually – This mower is the wrong color it should be yellow It turned up with a bent front wheel which the dealer fixed then had problem with cables which the… Read more

dealer had repaired I could not get it to start and took it back to the dealer to look at. AS usual second pull it went for him. This mower would be lucky to have had 2 hours of use so more or less brand new. It's self propelled & is too fast near have to quick walk to keep up. Now its back to not starting. As I said this mower is the wrong color. I have given up we are going somewhere else to buy a mower you can actually start. Looks like ebay for this piece of crap. I would not recommend these mowers to anyone unless you are a body builder who wants to build up their arms pointlessly pulling the rope. No complaints with the dealer only the crap mower. ##UPDATE## AFTER 3 OR 4 TRIPS TO THE DEALER the mower is now starting first or second pull. Apparently a brand new mower with less that 2 hours of work had a faulty gasket on the cylinder head. Once that was fixed the mower start and runs well. I have changed my rating from 1. to 3 stars mainly because it is now working well but I should have not gotten a mower with a bent wheel faulty cables and a damaged gasket in the first place. That's why the revised rating is only increased to 3 stars

A Great Line Trimmer that is worth the money – You get what you pay for and after two failed Stihl line trimmers fitted with substandard carbies, I went with a Bushranger L301. fitted with a… Read more

Japanese motor, it starts the first time and has that pro feel about it. The 1.1 kw motor cuts through tough weeds like butter. I also have a bushranger zero turn mower and they are the best! If you want a line trimmer that starts first time, then Bushranger a proud Aussie company are the best.

I repair and restore mowers (as a hobby). Usually ride on’s, but I was recently asked to have a look at a couple of push mowers for a divorced lady… Read more

in our local area. One of the mowers had been "serviced" by a dodgy mower repairer and she wanted it looked over by someone who knows their way around outdoor equipment a bit better. The other mower was the Bushranger 140R "Mulch and Catch" that her Ex-husband had had a go at and successfully failed to repair it. The first mower was a simple job to finish off what the other bloke failed to do but charged her a hefty fee for. The Bushranger was a basket case, and the cost of repair and parts was going to be too much for her, so she gave me the Bushranger as my fee for servicing her other mower 'properly'. The Bushranger mower had the air cleaner assembly completely broken off. The spark plug was not installed and was just sitting on the cooling fins of the cylinder head because the spark plug thread in the cylinder head had been cross threaded...! (how the heck do you cross thread a spark plug???) The rest of the mower was in reasonably good condition and was just missing the mulching plug. Our local Bushranger dealer has all the parts for this machine, so spares were not a problem to replace the air cleaner assembly and the mulching plug. The cylinder head was a different challenge, however. I opted to not replace the head but instead I installed a 'Recoil" thread replacement device in the spark plug hole. This worked a treat and got the engine going again. The engine is a Loncin® brand from China. I'm sceptical of Chinese stuff and the poor-quality control that I have experienced firsthand with some of the products that come out of that country. However, having spoken to the dealer and experienced this engine firsthand, I must say that Loncin® make a very good product. My mind is at ease as these engines are made to a high-quality standard. They are one of the best small engine manufacturers in China. I also was worried that the previous owner may have used the machine without the air filter and damaged the engine, but to my delight, it's just fine. I was also sceptical of the quality of the whole machine but working on this mower has revealed that it's actually very well made and very good quality. Bushranger is an Australian company supplying commercial grade outdoor power equipment for domestic use. They source the best components from overseas to suit Aussie conditions. This quality shows when you first get hold of the machine. It has a well-built, solid feel to it. The engine is 196cc with enough power for most situations. The catcher has a huge 60 litre 'soft' catcher which is easy to remove and install. I have the Bushranger for sale as we really don't need two push mowers. Our old mower is an Australian (QLD) built Rover that we've had for over 20 years and is still going strong. If it was stuffed, I'd keep the Bushranger in a heartbeat...!

this basis. You can't start it easily. I am on my third panel which i can import for around 550 dollars. You don't want to know how much they are from a dealer. The machine is useless if you can't start it!

Very ordinary, don't waste your money – Thought I'd buy one of these to replace my solo 424 after seeing a positive YouTube video. However, the Bushranger sprayer failed in nearly every respect. I'm sticking with Solo

Not adequate – Bushranger chainsaw cs5610.Owned for 2 weeks,1 tank of fuel,3 separate issues ,faulty spark plug, wouldn't idle, burnt the clutch brake cover.… Read more

Initially thought it had plenty of power and started easy. Clutch brake lever very flemisy ,choke lever and on off button felt cheap. I did cut through a lot of hard timber in a tank, chain and chain length was awesome. Power was plenty. But under warranty repairs had to take it back to dealer which is 2hr drive ..

Blown away by how much this sucks! – Not even the worst blower vac I’ve owned. Literally the worst petrol anything I’ve owned. Save your pennies and buy something else. Anything else.… Read more

When you do finally manage to get it started it is no where near as good as the website suggests. I didn’t even give it away to make it someone else’s misery. Threw it to the tip and brought a better known brand.

underneath. Staff at the shop have been aggressive and unhelpful and insist they did a warranty claim which was 'apparently rejected'. Currently pending formal complaint with Fair Trading as I want a full refund. Company has failed with their consumer guarantee. This machine is unlikely to last a couple of years at this point. Tweed Mower Centre say its general wear and tear.. as by the images provided, the machine looks 10 years old
