Following nil response from multiple attempts to communicate with supplier, I took mower - Hyundai. HYM510SPEZ to local repair shop. Advised that… Read more

mower had no compression and was not worth repairing. The mower was 6 months old and had minimal use. Customer support is poor.

This company is the absolute worst to deal with . They don't reply to emails. Phone message nothing when it comes to trying to claim a warranty issue… Read more

. They have no deals with any company to fix anything in this country . They try their best to muck you around and hopefully you will give up . Total scam of a company they clearly do not want anything to do with making a warranty claim. Do your self a favour by from your local business that at least you can visit. This is a online scam company.

I purchased this lawnmower 12 months ago online. The mower arrived and I put it together. (The mower is supposed to have a 24mth warranty) The first… Read more

time starting everything was okay and mowed my lawn fine. The next time I used it, all was okay I just took a few pulls to start. ( This mower is always stored in a garden shed out of the weather).

Each mow I did was a maximum of 20 mins often only 10 min and have used a maximum of 9 times since purchasing as I also use an electric lawnmower in between cuts.

Fast forward 1 week short of 12 months and the mower failed to start. I had problems with the primer bulb not sucking fuel or priming the carburetor.

The dipstick would fly out when trying to start. I contacted the place where I purchased it from and requested warranty repairs.

After a week of messing with videoing and endless emails back and forth. I was still no closer to having my mower looked at.

As I have mechanical experience, I decided not to wait for a response from the supplier and pulled the lawnmower apart.

I found that the dipstick had a oring that needed replacing even though I was told it needs to be turned clockwise to lock it in. Incorrect information given to me.

The primer bulb needed to be cleaned out, The cable to the safety start/stop had stretched and was stopping the machine starting.

I also needed to clean the carburetor, Something I have never needed to do with other lawnmowers I have owned.

There was also a problem with the self propelled drive bar which required me to lengthen the bar so it would stay in the handle.

After a grueling time trying to send a video so they could forward to the supplier (needed to be under 20mb file). I also requested to take it to a service centre and was told I need to supply the video for the supplier to assess.

The company that I purchased this from helped me with submitting the video.

I would NOT recommend this mower or brand to anyone. Save yourself some problems and make sure you buy a lawnmower from somewhere you can take it back too.

already. Back drive axle has broken ( googled it as a common fault) been trying to contact Hyundai for 4 weeks to get a warranty claim with absolutely no response. Their web site is a joke no one replies. I have tried 4 times in the same form and nothing. Tried calling them it always goes to a answering machine. I leave a name and number 10 times no call back . Do not trust this Australian Hyundai company. I bought it through Harvey Norman. They also have not responded.
