WOW this is amazing – We just bought an ASKO 60cm Dual Flex Zone Induction Cooktop. To start we bought a Westinghouse induction cook top it looked good, but from day one… Read more
it was a total nightmare so bad we got a refund and bought the ASKO. First thing we noticed was the cook top still fits in the 60cm space but is actually a little larger surface wise which I really liked. It did take a day or so to learn all the features, but it is actually very simple to use. To say it is an outstanding cook top would be an understatement. I put a pot of water on using the number 12 boost, less than 1 minuet I had a pot of boiling water. So many heat levels or you can just use the menu, again various things you can choose including - keep warm which is exactly what it does , no burning and I left it on warm for a good 10 minuets and it was fine. I found things dont boil over if you heat at about 7, things dont for some strange reason stick to the bottom of a saucepan which pasta is notorious to do. I also have an Asko grill plate and use the bridge feature to cook steak and for some one who is definitely cooking challenged the steak is restaurant quality. They say you get what you pay for and this is definately the case here. Not a cheap cook top but worth every bit of the purchase price.

The cooktop itself worked well until a crack developed on the glass top within warranty period. A very expensive appliance should not develop a… Read more
random crack for no reason, my old Westinghouse was 25 years old and although it was scratched, it never cracked. After taking Asko a week to approve a warranty repair I thought my troubles were over but this was only the start. They also needed to be pushed every day to give me an answer.
Problem is Asko does not have a repairer for Shoalhaven area. They wasted my (and the repairers') time sending the job to two repairers who don't service Shoalhaven. Noone bothered to communicate this fact either, and when I found out Asko then asked me to suggest a repairer to them! A company selling expensive products with warranty should have a repairer network, it should not be my problem to find a repairer, but I did, through a 5-second google search, which they could have done themselves. I now suspect the reason no repairer works for them is because they are bad to deal with.
The "repairer" turned out to be absolutely hopeless and rarely answered their phone or replied to text messages. The only three text messages I got told me the parts were on the way and I would be called soon. Nope. Asko told me the replacement part had been shipped but it turned out the repairer still hadn't ordered a part after a few weeks. Asko is not interested in supporting their customers, and when I went back to them they kept pushing me back to the repairer, even though it is clear the repairer is useless. After a month I still have no repair and no answer when it might happen. I will never buy Asko appliance again, and will tell everyone I know my story. They have had plenty of chances to resolve this but instead choose to block and obfuscate.

Overheats, scratches easily, very hard to clean – We bought this unit the Asko HI1995G for our new kitchen in December 2023 and couldn't be more disappointed in a induction cooktop that cost over… Read more
$4000. It overheats badly with just 3 sections on. It scratches very easily with deep scratches that can't be removed. Images of the pot stay in the glass after just boiling water. It's so hard to get clean, well impossible. All new induction cookware was purchased for the hob. We have been using it for about 6 weeks. We have followed the manual to the letter and couldn't be more disappointed with our new cooktop.

Total garbage! Does not register small pots on the cooking surface. Seldom works with small frying pans. This piece of garbage is a total failure. I wish I had gone with something (anything) else. Do not buy this rubbish! Show details
