even be used to cook on a bench top. the other small type labelled Pyrex is not made from the same strong material… The “real” PYREX scratches less and can withstand higher temps and larger temperature variations… So do the research and buy the European standard. In either case follow instructions on where to rest a hot dish… I have owned even the small label ones (before I knew about this) and my baking tray of that ilk is over 10 years old and going…

touch. No condensation on tables anymore. Microwave and Dishwasher safe (I have heard people saying cracking has occurred but I only use the top shelf of my dishwasher for them so they don't get hit with heavy plates etc that would create cracks). Doesn't stain! So no more coffee stains to scrub out. Come with a two year warranty. Cons: The brand does say to avoid sudden temperature changes (but I still haven't had a problem). You can't put them down with heavy force (but I use coasters under mine anyway). So even though they have cons, the pros definitely outweigh them and I'm really happy with mine.
