digital images — and the experience exceeded all expectations.

Damien is an incredibly talented photographer who immediately makes you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Flo, who did the hair and makeup, was equally wonderful. She created a look that felt polished and beautiful while still feeling like me.

This shoot was a bit of a defining moment for me personally. I’m in the best shape I’ve been in since my teenage years and chose to embrace my stretch marks rather than hide them. Damien captured everything beautifully and the photos look incredible.

And I should probably mention — my partner Rob is especially fond of the ones where I’m wearing the “Daddy’s Favourite” singlet… so clearly they got the brief right!

I would absolutely recommend Exclusive Photography to anyone considering a photoshoot.

The team at Zest made me feel amazing, the preparation they put in before the photo day made all the difference. I felt safe, empowered and beautiful. Thank you for capturing the essence that is me !

We really liked that it was all taken in the comfort of our home and Sarah really captured natural and beautiful pictures. Our album and block prints were delivered on time without any delay. Several hours of considerable deliberation on what to choose, spanning several days, was handled with such professionalism and genuine respect by this most dedicated employee. I cannot commend the service I received highly enough. The artwork is absolutely stunning and my husband was truly overwhelmed. The attention to detail on the day we arrived for this most special surprise was humbling. I will most definitely be purchasing again. Thank you Jamie and Mark Gray.

video. He changes phone numbers, doesn't respond to emails or text. Continuous lies and blaming other people. It took 18 months to get our USB stick which was to have the movie on it, except he sent a blank usb and still nothing received other than a website link with it and was told that it was good enough. We did get a USB stick with images, though not 1 of them was edited, which the contract states they all would be. This guy bit off more than he could chew. Not experienced at all and he is clearly out of the business now. Took a bunch of peoples money and that was it. Next stop is ACCC

seriously impressed. I’m an independent artist and needed a quick turnaround on a video. I didn’t have a huge budget or a lot of time, but Sam understood exactly what I was after and made it happen. He handled everything: direction, filming, editing, and managed to turn the whole thing around in no time. The result looked clean and better than I expected for the timeframe and cost. It had the energy and impact I wanted, and it helped me drop my track on time. I highly recommend The Flying Emu. Will definitely work with them again.

been telling people they won a photo shoot worth $$$. Upon coming to their studio, they were sort of enticed to a lot of tactics for them to leave the studio with a couple of thousands signed contracts for certain photo shoots. 5 years ago, i was subjected to this type of tactics. I was sort of forced to do it. Only to end up regretting and feeling stupid for allowing my self to be fooled. To embarrass to tell the people that it cost me $3000 to have those pictures taken. I just realised its been a common tactics for these dodgy establishments to get their hard earned money. Now im wondering how many “winners” they contacted to tell them they also won such “contest” at that time. Or have they still doing such “contest”?

Never make the mistake I did – It's been almost 2 years when we had done this photoshoot from this woman in Matraville. We literally drove over an hour and half to get this done.… Read more

This European woman is a sham and could not give a dawn about the babyshoot other than her money. All the wording from other reviews here are exactly my experiences. She is so smart that she does not even have her business on Google maps so no one can give her bad ratings. People hardly go to product review. I was really fuming the whole time while I was there. I wish I could walk away from the moment we met her downstairs on the parking lot. I had more respect for my family than her so had to calm myself down. I really wanted to bash her if I could. Don't book even if it's free Picture quality is very average, not better than your phone quality

2 Years (3 competitions) in a Row of disappointments. Unresponsive to email queries – I am not intending to defame, but I am just sharing my experience. Dance photography is not a cheap item -- 3 minute dance photo and video costs $45… Read more

(Cost add up if participating in multiple sessions of dance). I am a dance mom whose daughter returned to solo competition in 2021 and then had her recent competition in 2022. In 2021, during my daughter's solo, her music had a glitch - however she danced well through the end which won her 1st place. At the end of her session, she got a chance to repeat her dance. When I purchased her video from DancePro, her 1st video was completely deleted and her 2nd video was missing the first 10 seconds. I didn't have a choice to pick the video. Although they refunded the video cost, I'd rather to have the 1st video for memory sake as it showed my girl's resilient during the compo. I accepted the matter lightly and took home the incomplete 2nd video. This year (2022), my daughter won the RAD Festival Scholarship and Junior Female Award which is like a big milestone and honor as she will dance 2 dances in the Gala with all other winners. If I showed you their photos, you will tell me "What the heck?" They missed so many lovely moments -- they missed to photo of the beginning position, were not good at catching the ending position (which position was held for few good 5 seconds), weren't in the right angle (back of my child), were at the wrong timing shot, zoomed in too much. Not just for her photos during the Gala, same with her competitions sessions. Most parents (as me) complained how cut out photos (missing legs /knees, missing arms/fingers due to too much zooming in) were in the package ; Why some dancer has 66 photos and ours only have like not even half of the photos??? (Preferences Issue too???) I haven't tried to print the photo on a large canvas, however, a mother told me that the photo can't be printed larger than 4x6 cm without sacrificing its high resolution. The video quality, hmm somewhat the face of dancer is quite grainy if watched in a 14" laptop monitor. NOT just that, if you order online, you will be trembled by their terms and conditions: 1. Online order may take up to 7 days to receive. 2. The fact that during the above 7 days window, you will receive email notification such as in a 5 days time, they will delete all of your photos competitions from their website. 3. On certain date, they will take 2 weeks office break. 4. Although not in their T&C, they should add "we will not respond to any query emails" neither will we apologize. Imagine, during that 7 days window, someone (such as myself) then received notification 2 and 3 plus -- my two kind emails querying about my orders (on the day 3 and 4) were BOTH ignored --1 query through their facebook page which they replied but didn't provide a follow up regarding time frame -- No phone number to contact too. ADDED experience: * I also bought my daughter's video from Elite Eisteddfood Perth in 2021, same imperfect quality of the video (they missed to capture the whole video -- cut out 8 seconds before my girl left the stage. I was too tired to battle about the quality last year). * If you purchased the photo/video from their apps, ensure you have Iphone. Their apps is not compatible with Android -- you'd better a copy in a USB otherwise you will waste your money (no photos or videos can be downloaded into an Android phone. The photos will be in wrong ratio if you successfully downloaded).

I believe there are rooms for improvements if they still covers the RAD Festival competitions and other competitions in Perth Metro.

Storytellers Wedding Co utterly failed to capture our wedding day. They missed filming crucial moments, like part of our first dance and speeches,… Read more

leaving us devastated.

Communication with Storytellers Wedding Co was a nightmare from the beginning. Our attempts to reach out for clarifications, updates, and support were met with silence or delayed responses. They do not provide a contact number for direct communication, leaving clients solely reliant on email correspondence. It's as if they couldn't be bothered to provide even the most basic level of customer service.

To make matters worse, our photographer disappeared with a guest for 30 minutes during the reception, adding unnecessary stress to an already chaotic day especially since we paid for 30 mins of extra photos.

Furthermore, their lack of attention to detail is astounding. In the final video and on their website, they misspelled my husband's name, demonstrating a blatant disregard for accuracy and professionalism. This also demonstrates the impersonal nature of their business operations, particularly disheartening considering their role in capturing a day intended to encapsulate the essence of a couple's relationship.

As a result of these issues, our wedding memories have been marred by the inadequate services provided by your company.

We had such good experiences with every one of our other wedding vendors, making the stark contrast with Storytellers Wedding Co, all the more noticeable.

I’ve been blocked from their social media accounts and my reviews repeatedly disappear, which is concerning. I’m now seeking a formal resolution through NSW Fair Trading. Future couples deserve transparency.

Avoid Storytellers Wedding Co at all costs if you want your memories preserved properly

Beware! It's marketing gimmick! – They announce saying that they are looking for your pets to be photograph in a "project" for free, but then, you have to donate $75 to a charity… Read more

first. Then, in the phone "interview", they asked you questions such as "what do you think if you purchased an A4 photo for $480, and a canvas for $1300?" ??? When you said, oh - I have to think about it and discuss first with my partner, the next day you get an email saying that your application has been rejected! It's so obvious that all of this is a scam and marketing gimmick! If you really want to take good photos of our pets in your "project", you won't be asking us those questions! So, everyone, please be aware!! It's ashamed as the quality of the photos they put in their websites are great, but it's not right to lure people this way! Enough said.

27 November, 2017 and come the day of the shoot she cancelled on me a couple hours before. As it was not possible for me to reschedule within her recommend age of shooting newborns she agreed to refund the deposit out of ‘goodwill’ in 7 business days despite her contract stating ‘no refunds’.

As time went by, weeks and months later I had to keep following up the refund and the way she spoke/replied to me was disgustingly rude. It is now end of FEBRUARY and I’ve heard excuse after excuse. NSW Fair Trading are now involved and have assisted me in the process of receiving my money back. According to them, she has been ignoring/dodging calls and I’m legally entitled to a refund as she cancelled on me and hadn’t provided a service. Now taking her to tribunal

It Is Nothing More Than A Cash Grab – Our family had their Christmas 2017 photo taken by Babies & Bears Photography (http://www.babiesandbears.com.au) at My Centre Nerang. * The… Read more

experience was appalling

* The staff lack knowledge and photography skills

* Have atrocious customer service skills

* The quality of the photos is very poor

* At no point is any of this worth their top tier package of $50.

This is all the more obvious when I compare it to other Christmas family photos we’ve had done at Robina Town Centre, and Myer at Pacific Fair.

We waited in line for 30 minutes before a staff member of Babies & Bears asked us which package we wanted. We said we wanted a USB and she said there might not be any left and that we’d have to have a CD. “My computer doesn’t have a CD drive so I will need a USB, so are you able to find out for sure?” Her response, “Just ask the photographer when you get to the front.” Okay…

So after an hour waiting in line, we got to the front and the photographer told us we needed to pay an extra $10 (above the already extra $15) for a USB that has all the photos on it that she will shoot, not just one photo. This information was not explained to us by the first staff member of Babies & Bears and is not on their poster that lists their pricing and packaging. Nor is any of this on The Nerang My Centre website, unlike the Santa photo packages at Robine Town Centre. I was incredulous to her asking for more money after we waited almost an hour in line and I explained to the photographer that we have been mislead and ill-informed by the other staff member of Babies & Bears and she said, “If you want more photos, it’s an extra $10 because you will need to buy the top package.” I replied that I understood what she was saying, but that another staff member is telling potential customers that are waiting in line, incorrect information. The photographer became argumentative and repeated her statement and asked us if we wanted just one photo on a USB that will cost $15 for one photo or multiple photos on a USB for $25. I explained that I want more more photos, but you can’t mislead people like this to which she repeated herself again but added in, and I quote:

“You’ve got a bad attitude.”

That is deployable customer service.

Obviously I had no intentions of wanting to continue on with having a family photo taken with Santa from Babies & Bears Photography but my wife pointed out our son had waited patiently in line for almost an hour and he wanted to see Santa. Not wanting to be a horrible dad on Christmas Eve, I went ahead with the photos.

But the disappointment with the service of Babies & Bears Photography continued when the quality of her photography was revealed on screen.

* The photos are crooked

* Coles in pictured on the sides

* The sun shining through a skylight overhead is overexposing all the photos

* The photographer was using a Canon 70D, which is a low-grade camera (not used by professionals or semi-pros)

* The resolution on the photos on the USB is only 70ppi (which is not print quality - that’s 300ppi)

* Despite the abundance of light the photographer shot the photos at an ISO of 500 (which makes the photos grainy)

Don’t ever go to Babies & Bears Photography and if they are doing Christmas photos at a shopping centre, go somewhere else. Last year our extended family used Robina Town Centre and the process was quick and respectful and professional. The previous year we used Myer, who have an enclosed location or privacy if you want your photo taken with Santa, complete with Santa’s village too.

On a positive note: the Santa at Babies & Bears is great. Which is why we went there. But even Santa can’t carry the crippling weight of: incompetence, unprofessionalism, rudeness, and disrespect.
