noticed a very fine and small crack in the back muffler panel, nothing to worry about it was just a small cosmetic fault. I did however send am email to Cromtech on Christmas Eve 2025 just advising them of the fault.Today the 09/01/2026 a package arrived containing a brand new back muffler panel for my generator. Truely excellant customer service at the busiest time of the year, I know am dealing with a great company in terms of product and customer service.

All of them have stopped working including mine. All in the space of 12 to 18 months. Its cheap and for reason, Its dead. Issues first started with it not turning over, to backfiring, to just stopping for no reason. And loud bangs and black smoke. I've seen it happen to 2 other generator's including mine. Very similar issues. Now it is just sitting in my dads shed he won't let me throw it out it. I contacted the seller several times but i don't have the time nor patience to deal with the lousy salesman, who try to avoid refund for a terrible product.

enough. The build quality is poor, with the pullstart smashing through it's housing if let go. Avoid this thing, there are better options. Unless of course you want something to get angry at when it won't work when you need it most.
