Compact and Powerful but Lacking a Few Essentials – Unboxing Experience: The Karcher 4 Compact comes in a fairly small box which is easy to unpack. It ships with two key attachments: the Dirt Blaster… Read more
and Vario Power Jet. While these are useful, I was disappointed that a wider jet nozzle wasn’t included, which would have been handy for more versatile cleaning tasks. Fortunately, I received an eco!Booster 130 from ProductReview, which filled this gap, but it would have been nice if this was part of the original package. Additionally, there was no detergent included, so if you’re planning to wash your car or similar, you’ll unfortunately need to purchase that separately.
Build Quality: The unit is lightweight and easy to carry, which is great for portability. However, the plastic construction feels a bit on the soft side, and my sprayer handle already showed scratches after light use. I did run into a minor issue with the hose getting stuck in the handle. After a moment of mild frustration, I realised that turning the machine and water tap off and depressing the trigger to release the pressure solved the problem. To be fair, it probably makes perfect sense to do that in the first place—chalk that one up to me not reading the manual as thoroughly as I should have! Despite some small quirks, the overall build seems sturdy enough for regular use.
Performance: The performance of the Karcher 4 Compact impressed me for such a small machine. The Dirt Blaster attachment worked exceptionally well on my limestone wall—so well, in fact, that I had to be careful not to blast away chunks of the wall itself! You can see in my photos before and after examples, it's quite impressive. The Vario Power Jet was less impressive. It’s a decent multi-purpose tool, but it’s not the best at any specific task, and I found myself wishing for the true wide-jet nozzle for better coverage. Still, the water pressure is excellent and gets the job done efficiently.
Final Thoughts: The Karcher 4 Compact is a capable and portable power washer with some room for improvement in accessories and build material. If you’re looking for a solid cleaner for smaller jobs and don’t mind picking up a few extras like detergent or a wider nozzle, it’s a good choice. Just handle it with relative care, and it should last you well.
Rating: 4/5
Note: The Karcher 4 Compact and eco!Booster 130 were loaned to me by ProductReview for testing and review purposes.

In our first run with the Karcher we were utterly impressed. We have a dingy garage wall that has year of ‘who knows what’ filth, dust, cobwebs,… Read more
construction dust etc etc. The Karcher easily cleaned it up, and tough spots disappeared with a touch of the scrub brush.
It was really easy to use, and the attachments easy to swap on and off. It’s also super light and surprisingly quiet, making big jobs much more bearable. Having used other clunkier pressure washers in the past, the vibrations and noise was awful. This is a remarkable difference!
And one other thing worth a mention - it’s powerful yet super compact. We’re in a small space and storage is at a premium. We have to think about what tools get a spot nd this definitely earns its keep.

We recently reviewed the Kärcher G3500 Plus Petrol Pressure Washer. Here is our comprehensive take. Performance and Ease of Use: The Kärcher G3500… Read more
Plus is a very user-friendly machine. It starts easily with just one pull and is intuitive to operate. You simply connect the water supply, turn it on, and it’s ready to go. The pressure washer tackled tough cleaning tasks instantly from the first pass, and it operated smoothly and fluidly.
Assembly and Features: The setup process was straightforward, with only minor assembly steps that were easy to handle. The machine includes four different spray variations and a soap dispenser, which is handy if you need to use detergent. The 15" surface cleaner attachment is a game changer for us as it reduces the cleaning time of large flat surfaces in half.
Overall Impression: We rate this pressure washer at 4.5 out of 5 stars. It’s powerful enough to handle difficult cleaning jobs, and while there is some vibration due to its strong pressure, you get used to it quickly. Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient tool.

Recently purchased a K7 Compact pressure washer. My previous pressure washer was a Gerni "Compact" that expired after 20 plus years of good service… Read more
together with an occasional repair. After using the K7 for the first time on a concrete block wall, I had some reservations when I compared its performance to the Gerni. Initially, I noted that one of the delivery wands did not have the impact I was expecting. The "blade" of the water was wider than the Gerni but appeared to have less grunt. However, I found the wider blade of water was more effective when adopting a slower pass. The result is the K7 is actually quicker than the Gerni. To my surprise, the other wand supplied was ruthless in its destruction of grime, dirt, discolouration and removal of lichens etc. It was so effective in fact that the wall top coping (which is a softer concrete compared to the face) had a layer of concrete blasted away. So, I reverted to using the wider blade for the coping and the "swirling" blade for the face. I have to say, that I was delighted in the end with its performance and effectiveness. The true test will be how long (in terms of years), it will perform. I remain hopeful it will endure many years of hassle free performance. Highly recommended with an A+++

Bought it 5 months ago, used sparingly. Initially water pressure was good, used for pool surrounds, car, driveway. At the outset 2 issues: 1. I… Read more
found the hose reel problematic. 2 loose ends, and if you let it go before completely winding it would just let go and you had to start over. Then when unwinding, it would inevitably case the K3 to fall over into the cement.
2. The retaining clips for the hose connections were difficult to release, needed to pry them with a screwdriver.
==> don't these things get tested in prototype stage?
Then 6 weeks ago there was a noticeable decline in pressure. I checked the screen on the hose inlet, it was OK. Never used it again until last week, pressure was even worse. And while using it you could hear the compressor slow. When I went to check it, there was smoke coming out, burnt electrical smell.. So I took it back, luckily the retailer where I bought it gave a full refund. No more for me, I've jumped to an alternate brand. This unit had maybe 3 or 4 hours running time on it. Not recommended.

Too loose. Very poor selection of Spray lance as only 2 given. No way to change end nozzle to different type. Flimsy construction of spray lance as when you remove from machine it flexes a lot. Check Video. To loose a fit where you change your spraying lance over.
Also some silly reason the supply side for water is on front of machine. Usually you have supply hose behind you. Due to this you have to make sure it does not get caught up in wheel or kink.
For the price of the Machine one would of expected a selection of spray nozzles.
You can add a detergent wash by placing Bottle upside down on rear of machine. It has a variable control by a dial which is good idea but not tested yet. The Detergent Plug / Bottle they call it works out about $12 which seems on the excessive price as only holds about 1 ltr.
Water Blaster comes with a 5 year Guarantee which is good and increased to 7 year registering online. But you only get a email reply for extra 2 years. Unsure how you retain that for 7 years. Took off 1 star for lack of Lance selection / spraying attachment options. The other star for design flaws.
