AL300 charger unit. We have Sir Walter Buffalo grass. Brilliant machine. No problems. Still on original batteries. We have more Stihl machines that use the same batteries. Some of the posted reviews are rather strange. One posted a video without the grass catcher. We mow some sections up a slight incline. The unit pulls itself, no problem. Yes, it will not mow wet grass. And it will not mow very long grass easily.

the wheels fell off. Contact stihl and no joy not covered and one has a reasonable expectation that a mower and outdoor piece of equipment would be built well enough to handle the job. They should’ve stuck to chainsaws. We’ve just spent over $300 today ordering a new deck which I know will likely be in the same state within the next six years. At the very minimum they should start producing a rust resistant replacement deck.

Catcher needs emptying during the job, or the blades will stop if jammed by clogged cuttings, saves strain on the electrics I suppose.

Works as it should. The fold down handle has come loose and needs constant tightening. Otherwise good, as it is quite lightweight. It's handy to have a spare fully charged second battery to replace, to finish off mowing. Show details

stopped working on the 03/01/26. It was returned to the retailer on the 5th Jan but now all I have is a torn off receipt of goods and a lawn that’s turning into a jungle. 7 weeks I had it - no offer of a replacement. Seriously Disappointed.
