recent however is absolutely useless and I HATE it. It’s so weak things just fall out the pipe. It doesn’t get anything in corners or edges. Sweeping is a much faster efficient option. I’m just so so disappointed after all these years and the amount of people I’ve sent to buy one!!

Success in a small Makita vacuum – The 18V battery operated portable vacuum by Makita is a hand held small vacuum cleaner that has superseded the big vacuum for its light weight and… Read more
strong suction = happiness of use. It has 2 attachments, a regular head , and a tight space attachment. It first showed its use when I chanced to use it in the car. I did find that it was useful to also purchase another filter that can be vacuumed clean as the small vacuum also has a small dust collection area. The battery suggested was a 3hr battery. I was warned not to increase the battery as that was associated with reports of motor seizures. The portable Makita vacuum cleaner is easy to use and does the job successfully.

head is NOT adjustable in length as it is shown in promotion videos and also in the user manual. I purchased this so it could be used by a very short person, but that was a waist of time. Can't take it back because the box is damaged. Also the dust bag that came with it is a cheap sewn up piece of cloth, nothing like the decent replacement Makita bags. Very dodgy Makita. Makita USED to be a good brand, but no longer!
