the sink was on the left side of the machine, the spinner on the right. An easy fix but worth noting. Very quiet compared to my older twin tub.

control panel would only do 1 if the 15 cycles. Euromaid customer care was more customer don't care. Numerous calls and hours in hold. Finally spoke to a very rude lady, [Name Removed] and I told her I was calling Dept of fair trading. She told me to go ahead as they were not going to do anything. My problems are exactly the same as Coulton in first review. Hope he reads this a contacts fair trading. Got a reputable brand delivered today. The Only part of machine that worked was drawer for detergent.

due to small agitator at bottom.
We live in a rural area with less than ideal water. Machine still got clothes clean on just washing powder.
The washer also has a removable pump filter plug at lower rear of machine. Very handy feature if you remember it...
Machine is not recommended. (As similar to all other clutch assem plate type machines)
The bearing/clutch assembly only lasts just past warranty period (2 years) And that was with moderate use. The bearing sounds like a howling jet engine prior to seizure failure, and the cause is that the rubber seal lets water down around the shaft into the bearing... The sealing surface with the tub external held up ok. (so no large tub water leak flow to floor) I consider it next to impossible to obtain a similar flange shaped seal for replacement. (edit: found, its less than $10.) YB Y-27-70-9-19
Edit 3] Good luck in freeing the hub shafts to get access to swap in new seal though...
The washing bowl (sits inside the tub), has an interior white painted plate attached to bottom that is starting to corrode in a big way after two years. Needs removal and blast paint again. should have been stainless. The bowl also calcifies up on the exterior. But they all do that with bad water etc, Pressure wash clean every 3 years... But Euromaid do not sell separate bearing/seals for tub shaft. Its just one nearly $400 aftermarket clutch assembly common to a lot of their washers... No DIY realistically...
Edit 1: Euromaid warranty people have reached out and offered a store credit for the machine, just a shame that all washing brands have gone up in pricing, and the dollar inflation eroded... Still, fairly awesome to honour a warranty 5 months past expiry.
Edit 2] And of course the indonesians etc, find a way to break the expensive (only part available) clutch assembly down to access the seals and bearings, turns out this clutch mechanism is very similar to a lot of other washing machines, eg Haier. Will attack with a portapower jaw expander tomorrow. Aliexpress has chinese clutches very similar for about AU$100. Take the risk maybe?
Edit 3: No luck; the assembly's gearbox hub/tub shaft too corroded to get apart, and cutting top off of hub did not help either (another video). Getting the lower bearings off took two days of soaking; & cutting one inner race off finally. Its all too corroded to go back together well. Blame our water quality I guess. Bad design with leaking seals/weep holes all channelling water down over components. But industry appears to have standardised upon these clutch assemblies; even plastic non corrosive bearings would be an improvement...

Extremely unhappy customer!! – Bought this machine two & half years ago from Costco. It started leaking water a couple of months ago today we had our repair man look at it and he… Read more
found that the seal on the gearbox is leaking water. This is causing water to leak into the motor which in turn trips out the safety switch on our meter box. A number of components beneath the machine have rusted due to the water leak. He deemed it uneconomical to repair as the parts and labour would cost more than replacing the machine. He said that the machine was not fit for purpose and that I should contact the manufacturer. I then contacted the manufacturer only to be told it was out of warranty so they would change me $225 just to look at it. I didn’t want to waste the money so I purchased an LG machine which is coming tomorrow. My advice is NOT to purchase anything manufactured by Euromaid.

NOT HAPPY – 1. None of the Euromaid top loaders have an option to add fabric softener or disinfectant at the beginning of the wash. You need to read the manual… Read more
(esp. pages 14 & 15) on the Appliances Online website. The manual I received with the machine added the note on page 14 that you had to add the softener to the detergent compartment before or during the rinse cycle - how ridiculous. Also, it says to mix water to the powder (P15) before adding it to the detergent reservoir. 2. The lid is not see-through because it is tinted. 3. Because I paused the machine several times, when it got to the 2nd rinse cycle (which I didn't want either because of the unnecessary water usage) the timer stopped & the power went off, with the cycle still to drain & spin. So I had to reset it to a spin cycle. I AM STILL WAITING FOR AN OUTCOME after two & a half weeks. Canstar Blue says Euromaid is Australian owned & on the ad, it says China as the country of origin. Bottom line - Forget about fabric softener, don't pause the machine & hope for the best.
