Best Euromaid Ovens

Love it – Hi, I love my Model GG 90 S but tonight when attempting to start the oven, it lights fine but when I let the knob out, it goes out. I thought perhaps the jets need cleaning?? But I cannot work out how I get access to them? Can anyone help? Thank you Show details

replaced it I saw that it's tucked into a cavity at the rear of the oven where it gets very hot. I was able to source some fireproof high heat resistant wadding from my workplace, so I used that to wrap around and protect the ignition module. It's now lasted over 8 years where the original lasted for less than 2. I'd suggest the ignition module location needs a redesign by the engineering team. Otherwise a great unit. No rattles, parts falling off or bits breaking, she's been a workhorse for our household.

what temperature or setting. Had replaced and did the same thing. The cool done function for the oven goes for 45mins or more. Terrible. Complete waste of money. I printed little stickers off to help, which don’t stay, and impossible to keep clean.

Claimed repair under warranty. Repairer hired by Glen Dimplex refused to show up, we lived too far away. Original repairer came out to fix. Thought it was fixed… nope. Our cooktop has little to no regulation over the flame it’s either a boiling or full on boiling. Oven had a meat thermometer used in it to check the temp. Set to 180c, it hit 280c and was still rising. Put the oven on 120c, it hit 180c and still rising. After alot of to-ing and fro-ing, company finally agreed to refund our Money with a credit note however, under consumer law, we are entitled to have them pay to install anew oven. I have advised them of this and still have not had a resolution. Initial contact was made in June.

function and to select heat settings on coils,or select the oven temperature settings it is done by random selection,indicators are gone. The stove needs replacing or to be fitted with engraved indicators like some of the other stoves. This fault is mentioned in the warranty Para 3 "Faulty Parts and Workmanship" by Euromaid.

June 28th 2018 Update: Wot Tha!!

The wife used a steamer on the right rear plate, on finishing she wiped of the water from the steam off the rear control panel, at the same time she wiped of the numbers and letters around the dials.What now? This has to go down as a defect in materials and workmanship? Not bad for a product that has been in use for 3 weeks.

beginnings of bubbles in the oven door paint. These grew to the extend that the bubbles fell off, exposing rusty metal beneath. I have now had to repair this issue four times - I stripped back the offending areas, treated the rust and then repainted using heat proof paint. You guessed it - OK for a few months and then the rust returned each time. I would purchase another brand if finances permitted.

really 180, which we have dealt with putting the temp dial up higher and using a separate thermometer. But now the fan in the ove has stopped and it won't even get to 150deg when on max. Cant use it even as a non fan forced. Wouldn't reccomend it.

The fan forced oven and grill works fantastically and cooks food well.

There is one massive let down that has truly beat me though. The Turnspit assembly is terribly designed. The way the gears are set up, they can’t even turn a 500 gram perfectly balanced piece of pork without breaking. After 3 unsuccessful attempts with trying to have the situation rectified that started 2 months after I got the oven, including 3 visits from the serviceman and a new turnspit assembly, I have given up and unfortunately never had a turnspit roast from this oven in the 2 years I’ve had it and am super disappointed about it. It was the biggest selling point for me and has cost me a lot of time and effort trying to get my oven to produce a turnspit roast.

Overall, great oven and cooktop, just don’t talk to me about the turnspit...
