Fernando Marlo and Mauricio did a fantastic job with our move. They were very helpful to 2 oldies!! We would highly recommend this team to anyone attempting a move after a very long time in the one house!

rushed or careless. On top of that, they were genuinely friendly, respectful, and easy to deal with, which made the whole experience far less stressful. Highly recommend this team — they were amazing!

I had the worst experience. The guys were nice but too slow and when they were done I was charged almost 2 hours over the time they took and I was told it’s because they charge from depot to depot but their depot is less than 20mins from where I was. I called the office and I was told someone will call you back and that was it.

still charged for a full 8-hour day despite the move stopping at 2:30pm. During the move, I noticed the team working very slowly, taking vape breaks, and standing around more than I would have expected. They stopped for a drink/lunch on the short drive to our new address. When booking, I provided a very detailed list of all our items, including a large number of houseplants, I was assured that this move would be completed in 1 day. My husband and I ended up doing 3–4 trailer loads ourselves before moving day. I’m very glad we did, because even with four men and two trucks, the removalists didn’t complete the full move. At 2:30pm, we chose not to ask them to return for the remaining items—the pace of the job made it clear that it would have been unnecessarily expensive and frustrating. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won’t be using or recommending A Smooth Move again.

Go Elsewhere – I had this company move me before and was happy with the move so I booked them again to move my furniture into storage. As I was paying by the hour they arrived 20 minutes late. stand their sniffing it and then tell me he needed to take a lunch break half way through loading the truck. I advised and pointed to the men that certain pieces of furniture were not to have anything stacked onto them and that I had marked boxes with X to be left at front of the storage unit. I also had to interrupt and ask them to remove my heavy dining room table from being stacked onto my 2 seated leather recliner. At Storage facility once again slow to unload. I had to interrupt to protect my belongings as they were stacking heavy boxes on top of small fragile boxes. 8 hours later the job was taking longer than expected as they asked for cash I had to go and get more cash out while they were still unloading. I was away for 1/2 hour. When I arrived back they were sitting in truck. They then called into office for price which they could have done when finished but waited for my return. What I discovered when I went to lock the unit. They did not follow my orders and put the x marked boxes to the front of the storage unit which I wanted easy access to but instead put furniture in front . The back cushions to my leather 2 seated recliner lounge are nowhere to be seen? Boxes are upended that should not be and have already noted scratches damages to my belongings. Yes A Smooth Move will take you from A to B at a slow pace while charging by the hour but with no regard to your instructions or in what condition they delivery them in or store. I made a complaint to the owner but she did not care as far a she was concerned job completed, she had my money end of story.

In response to your response Faith you were not there so your post has no bearing on what really happened they were late, slow and not careful with my belongings otherwise I would not have interrupted then twice when I saw what they were doing. I do not tell lies and I had every reason to complain. I noticed you avoided the point where you driver was in my bathroom moonlighting and sniffing my body scrub in stead of doing his job, or taking a break when the truck was only half loaded. I still do not know where or why the leather back cushions to my 2 seated recliner are or why they are not on the back of my chair? I was not with them the whole time to watch what they were doing at the storage facility I was off the premises for around 1hr or so about midday and in the office for abount 30mins upon arrival and was not going up and down in the lift with them or interrupt them as you are stating. Previously my belongings have been loaded onto the truck in 1hr 30 mins not 3hrs. this I informed you when I called you to complain and my complaint was mainly about the unprofessional careless handling and stacking of my belongings. Also as the truck was closed up when I arrived back at the storage facility I did not see if all of my belongings had actually been removed. I will be checking when my belongings come out of storage and if I find anything missing I will be filing a report to the police.

We have ,moved quite a lot over many years and can say that the experience we had with Smooth was THE most pleasant and professional experience we have had. From the first contact with Lee and subsequent conversations with Vanessa, to the pick up and delivery that Brunno, Gilberto, Raf and Gustavo provided, we found the experience seemless, professional and value for money.
