Brisk Transport

Brisk Transport were fantastic with our move from Gold Coast to regional NSW. They were prompt, courteous and took great care. They also helped us out when settlement took a bit longer instead of just leaving us on our own. Would highly recommend using them to anyone, truly.

premises. From my initial contact with Sean to the 2 boys arriving at the storage sheds the job was seamless. They scoped the pieces to be moved and it was done quickly and professionally. Braydon and Caleb were very polite, professional and happy to accommodate any requests from me without any fuss. Unloading at the new premises was also done quickly with care and no damage. I was hoping to finish the move in the minimum 2 hour period and was very pleased when it finished within the time frame. I thoroughly recommend Brisk and will definitely use them for my next move.

We used Brisk for a local move in Brisbane after we sold our house. Communication was prompt and excellent, the move efficient and logistically faultless, the quote competitive, and overall no drama whatsoever. On the basis of this experience, we used Brisk again for the interstate move to WA and, again, we have not been given any reason to regret our decision, proving Brisk is as good with the larger more complex moves. attended were absolutely lovely, polite and friendly. Our complaint is not about their manner or attitude it is about how incredibly slow the move was.

We were the most prepared we have ever been for a move. Everything was packed, ready to go and much of it had been staged ready for loading. Despite this, the move resulted in 11 hours being charged and a bill of approximately $2,400. What should have been a relatively straightforward and well-prepared move became incredibly stressful once we realised how long the job was taking and what the final cost would be.

Before Brisk responds publicly saying they are sorry to hear about our experience and asking us to contact them, we already did.

We raised our concerns directly with Brisk and gave them the opportunity to review the job and work with us on what was an unreasonable outcome. They deducted one hour from the amount owing, but otherwise maintained that because the truck was full, the time taken was justified. Unfortunately, we did not feel that adequately addressed our concern. Our issue was never whether the truck was full it was the amount of time it took to load and unload it and the speed in which those were carried out.

We deliberately chose an established local company rather than simply going with the cheapest option because we thought that would give us greater confidence in the move. Unfortunately, in our case, that decision ended up costing us significantly.

Lesson learnt. I would strongly encourage anyone considering Brisk Transport to be very mindful that you are paying a high rate and the final cost can increase very quickly if the move takes longer than it should.

Based on our experience and the way our concerns were handled afterwards, we would not use Brisk Transport again.

Anticipated a 4 hour move across town (15 minute drive) for a 2 bedroom apartment. Gave a deposit for 3 hours. All sounded very reasonable because we have moved around the inner city area multiple times in the past 6 years and it’s always a 4-5 hour job.

They took 8 hours. And our $600 deposit turned into a $1700 job!

For reference: our move before this one was Toowoomba to Brisbane. Exact same amount of stuff. That company took 5 and a half hours including the 90 minute drive. And they assembled our beds and hooked up the washing machine.

None of that here.

The guys were nice. But they were slow. It should not take 8 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment 15 minutes across town.

And when I complained, the first thing they did was call our building manager to protect the relationship referral system they have with them.

We got job quotes around the $700-800 mark from other companies, but went with Brisk because they were referred to us and their hourly rate should have lined up about the same/similar.

Expensive mistake.

To begin with, the team arrived over an hour late, and only two movers attended instead of the three we were expecting. We received no prior notification of either the delay or the reduced team size. were not returned, which was extremely disappointing.

The issues continued throughout the move. A second truck also arrived an hour late, further delaying the process. We observed multiple instances of careless handling of our belongings, including boxes clearly marked “fragile” being dropped from the upper level of our home to the lower level, even after being spoken to about the lack of respect of our belonging. Items were transported down the driveway on a dolly in a reckless manner, with no apparent regard for their condition.

There also appeared to be no sense of urgency or awareness of the time-sensitive nature of our settlement. Toward the end of the move, items were simply being stuffed into the truck rather than packed with appropriate care and attention.

At the new property, the lack of care continued. Our belongings were placed arbitrarily despite clear verbal instructions, creating unnecessary stress and disorganisation. Most concerningly, my husband’s desk was completely broken during the move along with a variety of other items being damaged and broken beoynd repair.

Brisk Transport are now refusing to acknowledge any of our complaints, despite multiple attempts to contact them.

Overall, the service fell well below reasonable expectations and caused significant inconvenience, stress, and damage to our property. We will never use this company again.

This was a huge move for us and Brisk Transport made the process so easy from the very beginning and right to the end.
