We called ABA to deal with a couple of issues we found in our new house. Electrician Luke came and dealt with everything promptly and thoroughly. He is an excellent communicator, making sure we knew exactly what he was doing and why. We will not hesitate to call him again when we need help. Thank you, Luke.

So helpful. Answered my telephone call as soon as I rang, (by a very polite person who listened to my request with patience). We used ABA plumbing because the reviews were great. While everyone we dealt with were friendly and professional, their timing in coming out to jobs is absolutely appalling. We originally paid a lot of money for a job that we thought was an IP to our blocked kitchen sink. 6 months later when we went to check the drain, as it seemed to be blocking up again, we discovered that the IP had been connected to the laundry instead. One person came out and agreed it was definitely the wrong job and would be fixed, however we were still chasing it up nearly a month later. When the next person came out, they tried to initially tell us that the IP was correct. On further inspection he agreed that it was incorrect and organised for the correct IP to be installed the following day. This was great; however no one ever came back to replace the cement that had been dug up. We were tired of chasing them up so did it ourselves. Sorry but won't be using ABA again.

gas leak after receiving an unusually high gas bill (3 x the usual usage). By 8am the next morning they had contacted me and arranged for a technician to come out that day. The technician was able to isolate two leaks and gave us a range of solutions and costings. We opted for a total gas disconnection. Within 3 hours they had a temporary hot water system installed so we could still have a hot shower overnight. By the next day they had plumbers and an electrician on site and a new heat pump installed. They even fixed a dripping tap when onsite.

A particular shout out to Connor and Brendan for their seamless service and keeping us appraised through the whole project. Highly recommend.

Luke visited to complete some work at our property. Very knowledgable and explained work being completed before going ahead so I felt I informed every step of the way. Very happy with the service.

I would not recommend this company. Over priced unreliable. Installed a Rhemm hot water system, after installing said they couldn’t turn it on as we had a gas leak, installed all new copper piping still have a gas leak. Eventually found gas leak in our gas space heater in living area. It has been a very stressful time. Please do research before committing to a quote.

ABA tradesperson turned up very late and did not resolve quoted job. Have since paid a tradesperson from another business, to make right, ABA’s work. If you feel like experiencing all the stages of grief within the time it takes to get an ‘obligation free’ quote, that actually costs you, unless you go ahead with the work, only to find that the work doesn’t solve your problem, then choose this crowd. Competent and did good job, but expensive and lured into more pricey services – Had ABA come to fix blocked drain. First up the job was done well and the guy was friendly and professional, so no complaints there. However although the "No call out fees" is attractive, the lure is that only once they are on site, I find out job will cost around $700 using water jet and camera. around $400-$500 for water jet (old mechanical snake is cheaper, but more prone to damage pipes), but they work on the fact that they are on site, so I went ahead. The real kicker comes when they identify additional repair work that needs to be done costing up to $10K, but they will take off the $700 cost of unblocking the drain IF you sign up while they are there. In addition though I had paid for the water jet unblocking and camera investigation, they will not give you the pictures. Clearly they think if you have time to go to a competitor and show them what needs to be done, you can expect a better price. My tip if contacting plumber that will use camera is ask if they will give you the pictures, and if they won't, they are probably not good value because you will probably be able to get job cheaper elsewhere.

Brendan and Dave installed my new gas heater today, and done some work on my evaporative cooler. Were a little late on the original inspection due to previous job holdup, provided report for repairs which were carried out the next working day. Tradesman attended within timeframe and carried out work well with gas wall heater working beautifully. Should last another 35 years! Show reply

Robbie from ABA serviced and repaired our gas fire heater and installed a CO monitor for us. Friendly, professional, prompt, great communication and, most importantly, he did a great job.
