because a pool is a significant investment, and anyone considering one deserves more than a brief summary—particularly when a company genuinely deserves recognition.

To provide some context, my partner is terminally ill. His doctors and physiotherapists have strongly recommended hydrotherapy in a heated pool as a way to help manage his many secondary health challenges, improve his quality of life, and support his mental wellbeing. For us, installing a heated pool was not a luxury; it was an absolute priority.

Other than purchasing a home—or perhaps an expensive vehicle—a pool is one of the largest financial commitments most families will make. It is not a decision to be taken lightly. I contacted nine pool companies for quotes; seven weeks later, I am still waiting to hear from three of them. Carly from Absolute Pools contacted me the very next day after my online enquiry—and from that first interaction, the difference was clear.

Carly is an exceptional professional: warm, intelligent, knowledgeable, transparent, empathetic, and proactive. Her ability to think creatively while genuinely understanding my needs was a complete relief during an otherwise stressful process. She is an absolute asset to Absolute Pools. While Absolute was not the cheapest quote (though not significantly higher), the attention to detail, care, and customer service I received from Carly, as well as Jaime and Vanessa (owners), Mark, Jerry, Paul, and Katie, made my decision easy. I could not be happier. Their showroom is beautiful, and the ability to actually swim in their display pools is a rare and wonderful bonus. The quality of their pools is outstanding, with an impressive range of designs to suit different tastes, budgets, and yard sizes. The colour options are stunning, and the tile selections are genuinely beautiful.

When Jaime came onsite to mark out the pool, I was genuinely surprised that the owner himself attended. He was thorough, patient, and incredibly generous with his time. There was no such thing as a foolish question. He spent hours walking me through every detail and even identified additional cost savings for me. Vanessa responded to emails with impressive speed and was exceptionally accommodating when it came to financial discussions. Katie ensured seamless communication when Carly was unavailable. At every step, I felt supported, informed, and respected.

The excavation team—Mark and his crew—were polite, professional, tidy, and communicative. Jerry, the fencer, was equally thorough, explaining everything clearly and providing such a high-quality filtration box solution that I immediately added one to my order. The recurring theme with Absolute Pools is that nothing is ever a problem.

One particularly important point I want to highlight is that I had no prior knowledge of pool construction or the multitude of trades involved. What I did know was that I did not want to act as an owner-builder and coordinate multiple contractors. I simply wanted a pool to appear. In my experience, this is where Absolute Pools truly leads the industry.

They are a genuine one-stop shop. I did not need to source separate quotes for concreting, electrical, fencing, excavation, council approvals, certification, landscaping, tiling, handrails, water trucking, soil removal, or filtration systems—Absolute handled everything. Their quotes are clearly broken down, allowing transparency and easy comparison (which I did), and were consistently competitive. Their capped “rock excavation” costs alone provide enormous peace of mind and are, quite frankly, invaluable.

I will not comment on specific lead times, as I do not wish to create unrealistic expectations for other customers. What I can say is that within a remarkably short timeframe, I now have a pool I can swim in—because Absolute pulled out all stops for my partner. Every other company advised me that excavation would not even begin until the end of winter.

I work in the hospitality industry and have over 30 years of experience where customer service has been my highest priority. I am extremely particular, and Absolute Pools has exceeded my expectations at every level. I would be more than happy to allow prospective customers to view my pool and speak with me directly.

I am aware there are some less favourable online reviews. I read these carefully and discussed them openly with Absolute. They do not reflect my experience in any way. One final note worth mentioning: Absolute Pools was the only company that followed up their quote and asked what extra steps they could take to assist me. This did not influence my decision, but it speaks volumes about their culture and values. While I am financially mindful, there is undeniable value in peace of mind, ease of communication, and having a single, reliable point of contact. For me, that has been Carly—someone who has guided me through every step and has remained available even after work ceased onsite, including for simple questions about water quality.

I have full confidence in Jaime and Vanessa’s team and the ongoing support they provide. I will post a further review once the project is fully completed so I can comment on the finished tiling and fencing, along with photographs. Do not leave Absolute Pools off your shortlist. won’t fix any issues they cause, happy for everyone to spend more money to take them to court. When a customer spends thousands of dollars and your company stuffs up OWN IT and fix the issue. That’s what decent people do!

Absolutely dreadful company to work with. Refuse to return calls after issues with the pool install. Also refused to work with fair trading and said if we want the pool fixed we have to take them to court. If you use them make sure you get every detail of the install including equipment numbers in writing with itemized costs and timeframes for completion. Show details

process and provided a very reasonable quote and installation time frame which we were happy to go ahead with. The build went so smooth on time and within budget with no hidden costs. Everyone involved in the build who came to site answered all our questions and were friendly and professional to deal with. The owners were also great to deal with, were straight talkers with no crap and were flexible for some last minute changes i requested to get some additional concreting and paving done. After the initial install they provided a detailed handover and showed me how to properly use the pool equipment and happily answered my many follow up questions which was greatly appreciated. Pool service – Great service until the final payment was made, then there was no communication and no handover of our pool was given.
