in a storage facility I had to organise whilst travelling them dumped items in another unlocked shed that wasn’t ours and didn’t tell us. The truck driver was very unfit and unhealthy chain smoking the whole time and leaving butts every where. Cheaper is not better don’t try to save a few bucks go with a nationwide recognisable company save your self the pain. Tried to charge us more money than what was quoted by saying we had more items lucky I had the list I sent through to them and asked them to show me what was extra? They were unable to do this so they did not get extra money. Our neighbours at both ends complained to us about their disrespect and foul language, cigarette butts once again left. To say it was a disaster would be a understatement

Delivered in time without damage – Very happy with Advance Australia removals, who I contracted through Across Australia Removals. Our load was well wrapped and secured and delivered to a storage facility with Stuart taking care of the logistics and keeping us informed as we could not be in attendance on the day. Such a wonderful experience – Such a professional team. they stay in contact with you throughout the whole process and fast efficient and most of all very cost effective! QLD 12 January 2023 I hired these Removalists to take my furniture and they damaged my property! I called and emailed them about my damaged property. [Name Removed] said she was going to call me back once the driver ([Name Removed]) is back. After a week not hearing from [Name Removed] I called her back and she told me she’ll give me a call back once [Name Removed] was back.

[Name Removed] called me back after a week of reporting my damaged property in the care of advance Australia removals. She got me on the phone with the driver ([Name Removed]) who was handling my furniture during my move. He denied ever damaging my property and said “how do I know the property was not damaged before we picked it up”. [Name Removed] kept denying ever damaging my property and he was yelling at me over the phone and he was so rude! (Which is not the first time he had done that over the phone). He was Unapologetic about the whole situation. And when I had mentioned how rude he was, he hung up the phone on me!

Before hand on the day of delivery at the storage [Name Removed] arrived and there was a bit of a delay with the storage as the storage had to be changed. [Name Removed] called me and yelled at me over the phone. And according to the receptionist at the storage [Name Removed] had also made some racist remarks. I’m so disappointed with this behaviour and treatment from this company.

[Name Removed] has refused to do anything about the damages of my property and has denied ever damaging it. He’s refused to speak to me when I spoke to him about his behaviour ( he hung up on me).

I am now in a process of opening a case with fair trading! IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!

No communication and had to load the truck myself with one removalist – I booked this company for my move from Townsville to Gold Coast and they gave me an estimate of dates they would be coming and said they’d let me know closer to the day. arrived and asked how far away they were. I was told they were still a few hours away and would be there about 11:30am now. I rang again at about 12:20 as they still hadn’t come and he said he was still a couple of hours away and sounded annoyed that I was ringing him. I was supposed to work in the afternoon and had to cancel. One guy ended up showing up at 2:30pm. As annoying as it was that I had to wait around for them for over 8 hours, it’s the fact that there was no communication that bothered me. If I hadn’t of called them I doubt they would have even let me know I’d be waiting 8 hours. As well as this, when the removalist arrived, I had to load the truck with him as there was only him. I’d already boxed and packed and wrapped everything but then I had to spend over 2 and a half hours loading the truck. Half the reason I paid someone was so that I didn’t have to do it and then I had to do it anyway. I was told I would receive a discount for helping and then after the job was complete I receive an invoice for the full amount. After writing back refusing to pay the full amount I was offered a $150 discount.

Few headaches but they got the job done – Thought I'd leave an honest review on my experience with this company. We moved 15m3 from Far North Queensland to Central Queensland and they were by far the cheapest available (I'd normally be happy to pay a bit extra for quality service but we were tight for cash after buying our first house so went with them). on the phone and organised storage of our furniture for a few days so they could deliver on the day we needed it. When they arrived to collect the furniture one of the fellas smelt like booze and didn't really look up to the task of moving furniture which was a bit concerning. They loaded all our furniture without providing an inventory list which had me pretty worried. I was pretty sure (especially after reading a few reviews) that that would be the last we would see of a lot of our stuff (or at least in one piece).

I had to call them a couple of times to confirm when our furniture would be delivered (they dropped it to their colleague in Gladstone to deliver to us on the day we needed as it didn't fit with their normal runs) so without my phone calls to them (and also the man delivering the furniture) we wouldn't have had any info. I then got in touch with the fella who was delivering the furniture who was also pretty helpful and ended up being a really good guy. We had a bit of a drama with him not receiving payment from them and wanting to deliver a day later than we needed. After making a few phone calls myself to [Name Removed] in the office (who was actually pretty helpful) we were able to get it sorted and got it delivered on the day we needed it. All our furniture arrived on the day we needed it, we had no major breakages and weren't missing any items. We had packed everything pretty well and apart from breaking approx. 10 drinking glasses (I feel like that's almost expected when moving?) it all arrived in pretty good condition (few smudges etc aside).

All in all - I was pretty stressed after they picked up our furniture but it all got delivered within the time frame I specified with minimal breakages and I just had to do a bit of leg work ringing around etc. I guarantee you won't be able to find cheaper than them and if you're not looking for 5 star service and just want the job done and are happy to make a few phone calls etc then based on my experience that's what you will get with these guys. Fantastic price and service – 4bd home into a 3bd 1500km away. Picked up on Monday, ready to be delivered Wednesday morning. Nothing was too hard. Nothing broken, no bumps into walls, super flexible even with everything and the price was fantastic. Absolutely fantastic to deal with from booking with Mary Anne right through to the last team of men who unpacked us. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. We will definitely use again. Great Service – We just used Advance Australia Removals for a move from Townsville to Beenleigh and the service was very prompt and efficient. We contacted them on 4/1/22 and they arrived to picked up on 5/1/22. The two fellows who loaded our belongings were very careful and surprisingly cheerful although the temperature was around 34 degrees and very humid. Our load arrived in good condition and on time. We couldn't be happier with the service.

Worst, worst, worst – Don't want to rate even 1star. They lost our expensive items and when we contacted them, they don't even bother to answer properly. Called them, emailed them everyday for last 2 weeks, nothing happened as if it's not their responsibility that they lost our items. No one should choose this trash company....

THE WORST – house move from Townsville to Brisbane aug 2020, Broken furniture, goods just thrown into the storage shed, didnt lock the storage shed , door was open when I arrived. wont answer calls or emails. Abused the lady at the storage sheds and tried to increase my load from 25-28m3 to 42m3 to get more money. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
