AEG Heat Pump Dryer T8DHC876C

Very expensive dryer purchased in 2022. The dryer lasted for a bit over two years before performance declined. When new, the dryer worked well, taking around 3 hours to dry a load of cotton. Fault with dryer has been found to be to do with a gas leak. AEG is offering to replace the dryer with a cheaper series as the dryer is. I longer available and the new dryer in the same series is more expensive. They assure me that this is company policy and the way they always handle discontinued items.

AEG have refused to enter into discussion regarding my concerns by choosing not to respond to emails.
