Actually criminal – They have been ignoring phonecalls and communications, they have essentially taken our goods under the guise of a moving/storage service and then reneged on our agreed contract. They will not provide any information regarding where our goods are located or how we can go about accessing them. We have had to speak to a lawyer to try and go about recovering all of our belongings.

Extremely bad service – 2 bedroom house from Melbourne to Townsville. Arrival - Goods were damaged, with desk missing altogether. Tried to deliver an air compressor that wasn't mine. Post delivery - contacted to ask about damage to items and missing desk. Offered to pay for missing desk but kept getting told 'we are looking into it' about the other damage for months. I ended up out of pocket hundreds of dollars to replace broken furniture and damage to walls. Still no response 6 months later.

pay..so we paid the full amount to have all of our stuff completely damaged upon delivery. They were supposed to pack down for us and dismantle and box up as my partner had a broken leg and we had 2 small children to be supervised. But no boxes tape or even drills to do so. We were on a time limit as we sent a couple of vehicles separately with another service and needed to be in Geelong on time to sign for them. 1 tv smashed 1 water in it. Brand new mattress dragged/dropped in black gunk. Brand New fridge dented brand new electric bike scrapped. Every drawer damaged and won't open properly new bed scrapes and gauges taken out. Lots of water damage. Broken Dyson and Bissell carpet shampooer now won't work... Left with a house full of embarrassing furniture and appliances that cost me over $75,000 not to mention my personal documents water damaged too. Because of how much we had recently spent on furnishing our home we asked them of they had insurance for our items and they said yes we have 3 types to cover everything one for on road one for in warehouse and another one...so we thought ok our stuff is safe. After making multiple complaints and getting a third party involved They offered me $250 to resolve this issue...what a joke!! They have ruined my home!

Very helpful and stress free move – We moved the contents of a three bedroom home from AGILL transport, They were able to do it at a much better price than everyone else. the service were great.The removalist were careful with my furniture and very polite helped me move the furniture into the correct rooms for easy access. The removers picked up on time and delivered on time. Furniture was well care Communication was excellent. Would certainly use again.

Hotel Quarantine period.

A week leading up to the end of HQ, I attempted to make contact every day, numerous times to confirm delivery. Kept being told she is organising it and not to worry.

The day before we were due to leave HQ and head to our new house, she briefly informed us via email that our delivery would be delayed 5 days.

I explained that we had 4 young children and that we had no where else to go. Ended up having to spend money on furniture and appliances for the mean time of waiting.

Again, the day before we were expecting delivery we were sent an invoice that exceeded our original discussed cost by $700. After inspecting the invoice, I noticed she had charged us for extra items by lying about what was on our inventory list despite me having the original email of such, charged for 5.5 hours of labour when we only used 1.5 hours and we actually took up less that the original 35 cubic meters booked.

After arguing this, was discounted $150. We were desperate and paid final invoice after being told we MUST pay in order to have items delivered that day.

Got a call from the driver to say that actually our items would be delivered the following day and the office lady had not organised this properly. Driver had been driving over the legal 12 hours and delivered for us that night as he felt sorry for the scam we had been put through.

When the truck showed up, they took out a cable that ran from the house to the power lines. It was pitch black outside and the driver was tired. The office lady it 100% to blame for this!!

Upon receiving our furniture, we found our fridge has been dented all over!! And our drawers had been damaged, our couches had the plastic protection removed and were stained and disgusting. We have had to pay $160 to have the couch professionally cleaned. Even when they brought our furniture in, they took no care with our stuff or the walls/ floors.

They had forgotten some of our boxes which only 1 was found and delivered 5 days later.

We are still missing brackets for our bed so our bed cannot be put up! We have been to every bed shop in the area and Bunnings and are not able to find a replacement. We are not forced to replaced our much beloved $1000 bed frame!

[Name Removed] purposely delayed our delivery to our us in a desperate position so she could con more money from us.

She extorted the money! Held our furniture up for ransom.

I have tried to call and email numerous times to be refunded the money she STOLE and to have them take our insurance for the damages.

She has been dodging my communication since discussion about the delivery.

She is absolutely disgusting!

The workers don’t even care either and are probably under paid!

I am filing a police report and taking this to Consumer Affairs, Current Affairs, the Ombudsman and anyone else!!

There are more of us and their business is done!!

This company owe us a total of $1800 at the very least.

The stress they have caused is beyond explanation.

Do not use these scammers!!

bedroom apartment stuff from a storage and then delivered. The staff was always in contact with us. They delivered our stuff in 3 days. I am so glad that we gave the opportunity to Agill Transport. Even the staff who delivered our stuff were very careful. They helped with unloading the stuff and also very patient. They were aware of all the Covid protocols and maintained a safe distance all the time.

am still chasing them and yet no success. No communication, you call , no once response , the voice message is always on “ we are with another customer ….” The rest is history. Lack of professional conduct, I have paid all my money and yet to receive my belongings. The redflag I underrated was , they never came to pick my stuff , filling several delays and miss appointment , I had to find a delivery truck costing $250 and deliver in one of their containers in Epping, Melbourne. I shouldn’t have agreed to this following paid deposits of $200. I recently transferred $1000 into their Bendigo Bank Account and since then , they have not responded to my calls neither call me back. It’s a disappointment of a company , and please don’t contract them for anything. The reviews are real and lots of people have had a terrible experience with this company. I look forward to a class action or a de-registration of their business licence for lack of professional conduct with customers.

google review of 3.9 stars, most positive reviews are verified to be paid fake accounts or bots. Please AVOID at all cost. It's already been 72 hours since my pre-arranged interstate move date and I have not heard back from the company, despite them being well aware of my narrow moving time frame.

It appears others have fallen victim to this group recently as well. Unfortunately, Google reviews are fallible to manipulation by criminal syndicates. Save yourself the trouble and go with a more reputable moving company.

My bank is currently in the process of retrieving my deposit. Unfortunately, it's not a certainty that I will receive my funds back. However, I urge others to do the same, as enough complaints will aid in having this company de-registered and an injunction placed against their banking activities. I have filed a complaint with https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam and I will lodging a complaint with NSW Fair trading as well.

Phone call made to the actual labourers and they said they didn’t know what time they would be there. Gets to 5:30 and we call them again as they haven’t arrived, they inform us they won’t make it today and will be there first thing tomorrow.

(Friday) Tomorrow morning comes and still no sign of them. Called them - still unsure what time they will arrive. They arrived at about 1:30PM. My partner had to help them load the truck to ensure it was done in a reasonable time. They did not leave until 5:30. THEY DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH ROOM IN THE TRUCK for all of our belongings despite quoting prior because they did an impromptu job on the way to our house!!! Keep in mind we still need to drive our two cars to Brisbane (6 hour drive) with a baby and two cats. We also have to clean our sold house before leaving. We did not get to leave until 8pm that night.

We then get told we will not get our stuff until Sunday. As all of our belongings are packed away and only enough left out for two nights, keeping in mind the original move date was Thursday, we have no belongings to last another night and need to purchase extra clothes, items for us, food and baby. We did not receive our belongings until MONDAY at 4:30PM. Whilst moving our stuff into our Brand new rental, multiple walls damaged, door frames chipped. No accountability whatsoever from the company and we are out of pocket $600 for the repairs. On top of all this the rest of our stuff had to be moved by a different removalist that we had to pay for, no compensation offered. Not a care in the world from The woman at head office.

Completely incompetent, uncaring, inconsiderate and sad disgusting poor excuse of a business. I would give them -100 stars if I could and I will never recommend anyone to use this company. They should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT BELIEVE THE 5 STAR REVIEWS THEY ARE FROM FAKE ACCOUNTS!!!!!

I was still confirming a delivery address however that had been confirmed by pick up After hounding them for a delivery time a date with a buffer of about 3 to 4 days was confirmed and i thought that was fair enough In reality it was over a week after that latest date which delayed my new job start time (due to agil having my professional tools) which also cost me a weeks wages As well as living in a house with no furniture or and way of storing and cooking food came with its challenges and extra costs as well So we finally get a delivery and my fridge is dented and scratched My bedroom suite is damaged and an entire bedside table isn't even there So 3 months later I finally have a bedside table that has had the draw broken in half that somebody has tried to repair and said nothing All of this after having the price changed at their will and basically being held to ransom (if not paid no delivery) Again after so many ignored phone calls and an email list as long as my arm with little if any response to any of them These people are beyond bad there customer service and after sales follow up is a joke All I wanted was an open discussion about the issues and some kind of middle ground to resolve the issues Instead I have been forced to be the instigator of all contact and response has been sparse Unprofessional doesn't even touch the surface of these sharks

and emails could not move them to address my concerns - there were many! Moving the contents of a three bedroom house to Melbourne from Canberra was not given attention, time or care. Reading these other reviews, I can see that they had their hands full avoiding their professional, moral and ethical responsibilities. Thus, it was money ill-spent and I cannot, in good conscious recommend them to anyone.

And like the punchline to any good joke, I had to pay for the privilege of moving/carrying all of my own furniture into the upper-story Melbourne destination. An overworked and injured removalist/driver was too injured to help. It was four hours of work experience that I didn't know I needed. The upside... finally, I had someone moving my furniture that cared! DIY.

house was 4 bedrooms, no table or chairs, no couch. Victoria to Queensland.

When our things did arrive, all our chest of draws, cot, change tables were scratched, chipped and damaged. Our fridge and freezer which were bubble wrapped even had dints in the front doors. Being an interstate move during covid, we weren’t in the state when it arrived and they gave me 40 min notice, my new neighbour opened the garage for them, and said they were so rough with our belongings (obviously, as so much was damaged). I never write reviews, but how stressful and disgusting they were, they shouldn’t be in business. Choose a different company, save yourself the stress and disappointment, and the money that I’ve had to spend to buy new furniture. More then happy to take our money, didn’t give me a receipt.

They picked up over two days and dropped off from two trucks. The initial truck our stuff was loaded onto and the ones that dropped off were different. The people doing the packing were nice but EXTREMELY OVERWORKED. One experienced an injury whilst loading after doing a 16 hour shift prior to arriving at 10pm at my house. The quoted price was reasonable but I would pay double to go with a professional company in future. The staff, once they had our money, were useless and we had damage to the value of $6500 worth. Thank god we had insurance (CARTS). Our fridge looks like someone had a fist fight with it, both our cement coffee tables with metal legs (which were promised to be packed specially) ended up on the bottom, and not even covered with a blanket (and therefore chipped and the welding snapped). After months and months of calling asking about our lost items or remuneration we had no response from Agill except 'we haven't forgotten you, we are still looking into it'. We ended up lodging an insurance claim even though the damage was 100% due to Agill's negligence. CARTS insurer follows up with them, potentially in court. This company is so dodgy, I wouldn't be surprised to see them on A Current Affair or in prison for ripping people off.

necessitating 2 days of storage. Unfortunately, Agill stopped answering my emails and would only answer the phone if i hid my number. They were really reluctant to tell me where they had stored my furniture and it was 5 days before i could pick it up which was really strange.

When i got my furniture most of it was damaged, washing machine had been dropped and was broken, lamps destroyed despite careful packing. I had to hire another removal company to pick up my furniture from the lockup and deliver it to my new home. I then got a call 2 weeks later asking if i had picked up an additional sofa from the lock up, clearly they have lost another person's furniture along the way. Im not sure they will ever see it again.

Factoring in hiring a second removalist and the damage to property the cost has been higher than the most expensive quote. Communication is a real issue for this company. They are so hard to get hold of once they have your money. I had so many emails and phone calls about other peoples moves and couldnt get through to them when i needed them. As much as i dont want to give bad feedback I had a terrible time with Agill and i couldnt recommend their services to anyone.

What a ripoff of a company. Worst I have EVER dealt with – I requested a quote from these guys on 30-7-2021. As the move involved a home office setup, stated I needed to have delivery by 19-8-2021. They assured me (over the phone) that they could have it earlier. Pickup was supposed to be 13th August. After being hounded and paying the $400 deposit on Friday afternoon to secure an even better rate… Read more

(alarm bells should have started then!), I requested the delivery date be confirmed via email. The response was…’we will pickup on the 13th August.” No reply on delivery date. I resent the email requesting delivery confirmation as it was imperative it arrived on time.. The reply just after 3pm was…”We will update you”. I had a gut feeling that something wasn’t right. On Monday (their next business day) morning at 8am, I sent an email explaining circumstances had changed and I no longer required their services. I asked for a full refund of the $400. Today, Wednesday 4-8-2021 I received an email with an extract of their T&C’s and a line saying, “so we will, refund you 50%”. Now I know their T&C’s stated that cancellation for a full refund must be done 14 or more days prior. However, my booking was made on the Friday afternoon, exactly 14 days prior to pickup. I suggested they perhaps keep a 10% admin fee, which I thought was very fair. They just kept emailing their T&C’s. Nothing else, no explanations. Just the T&C’s.

After reading numerous reviews this morning, (I should have done it before booking) I realised that this company is one of the shonkiest out there.

Funny thing is, after speaking to my son on the phone this morning, he mentioned his girlfriend’s furniture that was supposed to be picked up tomorrow, has been delayed for a week. (Not due to COVID-19) The removal company turned out to be none other than AGILL. The quoted price was around 20% less than others. So they paid a deposit weeks ago and were promised the pickup date no later than the 5th August. Goes to show I need to communicate more with my kids! My advice to anyone looking for a removalist, is to AVOID this company like the plague. Whilst I am out of pocket by only $200, it is their principles of how they run their business that left a sour taste in my mouth. My business, would be out of business if I treated customers the way AGILL do.

Update, 5-8-2021. I received an email this morning from AGILL (see photo). Using some blackmail, they have offered another $150 on top of the $200 they have already refunded if I removed this review! I’m not taking up the offer, as I feel their business dealings are far too corrupt. I’d rather let people know how bad this company is, and hopefully they can be informed how bad Agill’s service really is. I wouldn’t trust the 5 star ratings. Most of the spelling in those 5 star reviews look similar to my email!

in the morning, had numerous phone calls from them putting pick up time later and later, they wanted to load at approximately 10.00 pm. We said no come back in the morning. Which they did at 6.00 am. So a days delay to begin with. We were moving to Queensland. They were so slow in packing, eventually finished and they drove away at 3.00 pm. Furniture was cleaned before it was packed. Furniture arrived and I asked did they drive through the Simpson Desert as everything was covered in a red dust. One TV broken, Desk had like a fist whole in the back, Stainless steel Fridge scratches all over it, Bed base all scratched. Velvet Arm chair red dust from blanket that they covered it with. When I complained they said the TV was supposed to be packed in original packing and box. They advised that there trucks are clean, my response was check the blankets goods were wrapped in. They gave us a $50 discount for being late. Very unprofessional and have you over a barrel because if you don't pay final payment you don't get your furniture. Throughout the packing the office kept ringing them to see if they could pick up another house on the way. We had a full truck. But that's what they do promise you they will be there one day but they have booked too many customers in for that one truck. So they are late for everyone.

they collected they tried to deliver it 3 days early. Charged a double handling fee for redelivery and storage (boxes looked damp from possibly being stored outside) New day of delivery they said the morning. No show. Then said the afternoon. No show. Then said morning after. No show and delivered early evening. Items damaged (approx $1000 in total) Photos taken of damaged items and sent to company but not solved. Overcharged us and they breached their own contract where it states 20% but they charged over 30% for extra items delivered that were not listed. Total invoice amounted to $1500 more than original quote. Said they wouldn’t deliver the items until balance was paid. Been in constant contact trying to resolve issue but keep getting given excuses. I have kept all emails and invoices/quotes from the beginning.

they would come on Sunday and deliver on Monday. On Thursday evening, they told us they were coming tomorrow (Friday)! We should have cancelled them there and then. My husband and I stayed up all night to complete the entire packing. On Friday, when they truck arrived, they did not have an inventory list of items which we had sent to them a month before. The driver made a list there and then. Finally they announced they don't have enough space to carry all of our luggage since there was already two people's houses' stuff in the truck. They fitted the TV inside our car and we had to leave behind a cabinet, pots, side tables and our full toilet and kitchen accessories behind since they had run out of space even though it was a massive truck. The driver then told us it was no way our stuff would be delivered on Saturday. Nobody from the company answered our phones at all even though we were calling them during business hours. We started calling them on Saturday first thing in the morning and they did not respond to any of our call. During mid-day they simply sent a text saying it would be delivered on Tuesday without giving any reason. We waited until Tuesday and they sent us a text saying it would be delivered on Wednesday. On Wednesday they sent us another text saying it would be delivered on Thursday. They have taken the full payment and have refused all our calls. They simply send us one-line texts and have made zero efforts to apologise. I am completely scared of the state in which the furniture would be delivered based on the reviews others have left of this company. I have attached the photo of my TV which we had to carry in our car since they ran out of space.

Update: After this review, they delivered the items immediately. They started their truck from Sydney after this review. The truck arrived in Melbourne. Some of our stuff was wet, the mattress was very wet and dirty and the mattress protector was off. The bed frame was missing its side frames which connect the head board and foot board. They stored our things in a warehouse where it's likely our things got misplaced. Our bed is completely useless now. We have asked and searched everywhere for this replacement part but it is not available. I would highly recommend not to use these guys for moving. We had to buy another bed suite just because of these guys so we could move into our house since we had been living for a week in hotels due to these guys incompetence about fixing dates.

Update to the update: It has been now 15 days since they said they would re-deliver the missing bed sides in the next run. However, they have failed to deliver them after repeated emails. They only want us to remove this review. The bed is completely useless with the matching side tables and we cannot even sell the parts or get the missing parts separately. I have no option but to report them to the ACCC

Communication was excellent – Booked Agill for an interstate move. Although both pick-up and delivery were in the evening, communication from both the office and the drivers was really efficient and put our minds at ease. The price was reasonable and the service was great. If required, would book again.

Booked agill for a removal on the 14th of may they didn’t show up. Kept delaying their arrival, finally showing up at 7pm the next night. I had already left the city and my lovely neighbours unlocked the house for them to remove. Their truck was already quite full and then couldn’t not fit all of my stuff. Agill transport is now withholding my items and not delivering what they managed to fit in. I have tried to reason with them, asking them to send me an invoice for what they have got to deliver and I would arrange another company to collect the rest of my belongings as they are not available until June! Absolutely disgusting service, telling me that my child and myself need to continue to sleep on the floor. Won’t send revised invoice for items to be delivered. Have made complaints to fair trading and qcat!

I am really hoping when I do get my stuff they are in good condition still and no damage done!

address. Removalist arrived at 10pm unloaded until midnight. Dining table legs were snapped off. Other things were broken. Boxes missing. When contacted the company they had no ides where they could be. Unsatisfactory customer service. Paltry sum offered for broken items.
