Excellent product – Great fridge/freezer.we bought this 18 months ago, and YES it came with a very well designed insulated cover. It was packed separately in the box, so perhaps some people may have thrown it out thinking the extra cardboard was part of the packaging. We have used this at home on 240v when we had problems with the household freezer and does hold… Read more
quite a lot of food if packed properly. Maintains temps both sides as freezer. We’ve used multiple times camping on 12v auxiliary battery. maintains temperature really well. Excellent product and great value for money.
Dylan – How do I fix my adventuridge to get it off override?
Adventure ridge 75litre – Mines been running non stop for 4 yrs this Christmas!! Truly amazing Show details
12volt issue – Hi, I have a Adventuridge fridge freezer 75 litres and my battery is 13.5 volts and gets solar power, my fridge had Error code 1 coming up. The instruction manual says Battery protection cut out, The voltage is outside the cut out settings, but my batteries are 13.5 volts I’m puzzled
Cover – Just brought this and wondering where I can purchase a cover for it in Australia can someone help with this Show details
75lt fridge up date – I have had this fridge since 19 Sept last year and have never been turned off. So far all is good the only thing I do is armourall the lid seals to keep them soft and supple for good sealing. Query – Can both sections be used as a freezer? Thankyou in advance.
Two year fridges – My adventuridge 65l purchased in 2021 lasted 18 months before it started displaying fault codes while running 12v. Now compressor runs on 240v but not cooling. Wont be buying Aldi branded fridge’s again. Will strip the compressor out though and will have a damn fine $600 esky. Thanks Aldi. Show details
Perfect and robust....superior insulations (needs little power) – I purchased the 75L fridge from aldi after I tested and watched my friend's unit....he used it for over a year none stop at his garage with one 100ahr agm battery and a 300w panel and it kept the fridge working with no issues...my unit was purchased in cowes Victoria (have the receit)performed the same and it is always on 24h/day in my garage… Read more
....very very happy with it..has the best insulation among all the fridges i purchased before...needs very little power to run....I am using 310w panel with 100ahr lithium and mppt charger and never an issue .......if you come across one BUY it....you will never regret...I watched few unhappy customers complain about it ...my answer is buy a good battery and not a dead second hand one and you will never have an issue with this fridge....this year the price was $599...very good value for money for such a large and good fridge....
Fridge Faulty – Hey works great on 12volt supply but switch to 240v and both compartments can only achieve 8 and 11deg minimum. Why like this?
Stopped working after 2 months – I bought this fridge and even before we took it on a trip the control panel stopped working. What a waste of time.
Aldi fridge – Great fridge. I’ve had it for a year now Works as it should. Ran the freezer at -12 and the fridge at-3 with no problems while camping remote. It’s now 2025 and still going strong Show details
It's great when it work – Great when it works. But when it dies, not only does it spoil your camp trip. You will get no help from the service agent. This is definitely an item to keep your receipt for in a safe place. Don't worry about the service agent if it dies. Just take it back to a store with receipt and get your money back. Apparently Aldi is aware of the issues, and happy to refund no questions asked. Show details

Know better, choose better.
Great unit sturdy and love the size – Purchased fridge around 12 months ago and just started really using it as needed a fridge that would hold enough food for 2 weeks and caravan fridge was too small. Works great only had a problem when moving fridge displayed an error when first turned on again but after turning off and back on error message was gone and has worked good since then.… Read more
Why is there no instruction manual online as was trying to turn one side off as not needed after 1 week but no manual can be found online to help. All in all it works well and would recommend if after a cheap but good quality unit this is the one. Just be aware that there seems to be very little help from manufacturers when you have a problem if you read the reviews.
So far so good – I bought 75 litre adventure ridge aldi fridge about a week ago and so far it's been working well. I've been using it in the cabin, full of food. but when I tried to call assistance line today I couldn't get through.. after the German woman said something they just hung up on me, three times
Didn't even last 9 months – While away with my family the control panel just kept displaying error 1-5. Fridge would not cool and compressor wouldn't switch on. I've been calling up for days trying to sort the warranty but its proving to be a very difficult process. Would not recommend this fridge. Show details
So Far So Good – I was a little disappointed to find Polystyrene in the box, now it should be cardboard. However, I unpacked the Fridge/Freezer and I was impressed by the build quality. Yes, at the $499 price point you don't get the lids that access from either side, but at half the price of the King's offering, I'll live with it. The fridge plugs are located at… Read more · 2
the control panel end of the fridge which works really well for me as that is where my battery box is. The first job was to chop the auxiliary plug off the cable and crimp on an Anderson plug. This allowed me to shorten the cable as well, however, buyer beware, the 12V fuse is in the auxiliary plug. So, you will need to add a fuse to the Anderson plug and cable if you chop off the cheap auxiliary plug?
I plugged it in, switched on and it tweaked the controls so the left compartment is the freezer set at -16 and the right is the fridge set to zero degrees. Both read +18 degrees because the fridge had been in a box. I set the fridge to its ECO mode and came back 30 minutes later to find the fridge at zero and the freezer at -16. Pretty fast indeed even on ECO. Okay, they aren't cavernous compartments but that is still quite impressive.
So far, it seems to be working well, it didn't drain much battery overnight so I am more than happy. Only time will tell how we go.
I've dropped it a star because I just found out that ALDI do not supply a cover for this fridge which is a little poor in my opinion. I'm sure whoever manufactures these, makes them for someone else as well and so must make a cover. Come on ALDI, if you are going to make a fridge freezer for a 4WD then at least follow what other manufacturers are doing.
UPDATE* The KickAss 75L dual Zone Fridge Cover fits the fridge freezer perfectly. It is now March 2024 and the fridge has been on constantly since I posted this review and it is still working perfectly.
