Excellent product – Great fridge/freezer.we bought this 18 months ago, and YES it came with a very well designed insulated cover. It was packed separately in the box, so perhaps some people may have thrown it out thinking the extra cardboard was part of the packaging. We have used this at home on 240v when we had problems with the household freezer and does hold… Read more
quite a lot of food if packed properly. Maintains temps both sides as freezer. We’ve used multiple times camping on 12v auxiliary battery. maintains temperature really well. Excellent product and great value for money.
12volt issue – Hi, I have a Adventuridge fridge freezer 75 litres and my battery is 13.5 volts and gets solar power, my fridge had Error code 1 coming up. The instruction manual says Battery protection cut out, The voltage is outside the cut out settings, but my batteries are 13.5 volts I’m puzzled
Brand new took out of box plug in power adapter turn on then turn off straight away light on inside try 12 v dose same screen lights up then turns off straight away straight away wast of time money need to be tested before manufacture lets them leave the factory brand new I am not happy Show details

Great fridge freezer 60ltr – I've had the fridge freezer for a number of years now and it hasn't missed a beat I would recommend it to anyone wishing to purchase this model fridge Show details
So Far So Good – I was a little disappointed to find Polystyrene in the box, now it should be cardboard. However, I unpacked the Fridge/Freezer and I was impressed by the build quality. Yes, at the $499 price point you don't get the lids that access from either side, but at half the price of the King's offering, I'll live with it. The fridge plugs are located at… Read more · 2
the control panel end of the fridge which works really well for me as that is where my battery box is. The first job was to chop the auxiliary plug off the cable and crimp on an Anderson plug. This allowed me to shorten the cable as well, however, buyer beware, the 12V fuse is in the auxiliary plug. So, you will need to add a fuse to the Anderson plug and cable if you chop off the cheap auxiliary plug?
I plugged it in, switched on and it tweaked the controls so the left compartment is the freezer set at -16 and the right is the fridge set to zero degrees. Both read +18 degrees because the fridge had been in a box. I set the fridge to its ECO mode and came back 30 minutes later to find the fridge at zero and the freezer at -16. Pretty fast indeed even on ECO. Okay, they aren't cavernous compartments but that is still quite impressive.
So far, it seems to be working well, it didn't drain much battery overnight so I am more than happy. Only time will tell how we go.
I've dropped it a star because I just found out that ALDI do not supply a cover for this fridge which is a little poor in my opinion. I'm sure whoever manufactures these, makes them for someone else as well and so must make a cover. Come on ALDI, if you are going to make a fridge freezer for a 4WD then at least follow what other manufacturers are doing.
UPDATE* The KickAss 75L dual Zone Fridge Cover fits the fridge freezer perfectly. It is now March 2024 and the fridge has been on constantly since I posted this review and it is still working perfectly.
Rusty pipes and leaking gas – The pipes inside this fridge are mild steel. You’d be lucky to get longer than 4 years from this rubbish. Rusty pipes and leaking gas. I’d advise for all to stay away. Show details

Never misses a beat! – I bought this as a back-up for my Waeco that cost twice the price. IMHO it works every bit as well as the Waeco. It has been to hell and back on some of the roughest Outback tracks imaginable. I have it set on 2 degrees, which it maintains easily, even when the ambient is in the high 30's - perfect for a cold beer at the end of the day. Every… Read more
summer I use it as a back-up beer fridge and it runs solidly for 3 months on 240v on the back verandah. I'm planning to set it as a freezer on my next trip and have been testing it. I didn't expect it to get below -15 degrees but it has now settled on -18 and frozen a 10 litre container of water solid. Current draw on the freezing setting is about 5Ah until it reaches temperature, then it's about 2Ah. As mentioned in other reviews you really do need a good 100Ah battery and heavy duty cables. I believe this is identical to the Primus 40L fridge/freezer that sells for several hundred dollars more. If fact, if you download the Manual PDF it has Primus branding.
5 star fridge with the same compressor as the big guys – I have owned this fridge for 4 years and the only thing to happen is it started to blow the cigarette fuse in my Amarok, installed a new 25 amp circuit now the fridge works fine. This fridge has bounced around in the back of my 4wd on some bad outback roads, overheating in the back of my black 4wd with a black canopy while keeping our food in… Read more · 1
great condition. Some fridges cost $1,800 this fridge cost me $440 do the math! Both fridges come with the same warranty! Owning a portable fridge and keeping it working can be tricky so here are my tips - Small car batteries like used in SUV's don't work very well as the battery is designed for fast energy output to start your car not quick fast startup of the compressor then a slow energy draw for 30 mins. - BIG BATTERY! 90 - 100 amp hour is a must, this battery will weight about 30kg so be careful when lifting. - BIG CABLE! If you are going to run the fridge at a distance from the battery you will need big thick cables otherwise the fridge will be in error mode. - Don't stand the fridge in the sun. I don't know why fridges are grey they should be made white to reflect the sun's heat like a Evercool fridge. -Freeze your food beforehand and put at the bottom of the fridge. In the morning move the food you want to cook to the grey plastic area above the compressor to defrost this may take all day or two so do it early.
There are many fridges like this and most of them use a copy of the Danfoss compressor that has been tried and tested for decades, the thing that breaks down the most is the circuit board not only on the cheap fridges but even on the $1,800 ones.
My Aldi fridge runs off two 100 amp hour batteries plus 300 watts of solar panels this is the main reason why my fridge runs so well. It's a big investment to run a portable fridge so if your a thinking I can just plug it into my car cigaret outlet that is only rated to 10 amps along with a 40 amp hour car battery think again.
This info should be on the box of all portable fridges so people are not outlying lots of money on something that may not work with their wiring capacity.
Hopes this helps... Buy cheap from a bricks and mortar retailer so if something goes wrong within the two years give it back to them and get a new one, why pay $1,800.
Great fridge, excellent price – At $549, it is no wonder that Aldi sold out of these units in less than a minute. This is an excellent fridge with plenty of storage and low power consumption. I have used this on two camping trips now, the first running on 240V and the second on 12V. On the second trip, a 105ah battery powered the fridge non-stop for 23+ hours and only dropped… Read more
to 12.4V. This was in 30° ambient daytime temperature and 11° night temperature, with frequent opening. Add a solar panel to the combo and I can see this fridge working without issue for 5+ days.
As with any fridge. it works best when filled to the brim as it is easier to keep cool contents rather than air.
The internal storage space works well but it does occupy 50% of the storage space in the rear of our 4x4. This is something to consider if you don't have roof racks or a trailer. However, once packed in the car, the Adventuridge app is a great way of checking the fridge's performance and current temperature (or just checking that the power plug hasn't been bumped out of place).
My advice, next time these come up for sale, line up early and buy one.

75lt fridge up date – I have had this fridge since 19 Sept last year and have never been turned off. So far all is good the only thing I do is armourall the lid seals to keep them soft and supple for good sealing. Just another update 11/1/25 fridge still going good been on at all time with no issues. Show details · 1
Perfect and robust....superior insulations (needs little power) – I purchased the 75L fridge from aldi after I tested and watched my friend's unit....he used it for over a year none stop at his garage with one 100ahr agm battery and a 300w panel and it kept the fridge working with no issues...my unit was purchased in cowes Victoria (have the receit)performed the same and it is always on 24h/day in my garage… Read more
....very very happy with it..has the best insulation among all the fridges i purchased before...needs very little power to run....I am using 310w panel with 100ahr lithium and mppt charger and never an issue .......if you come across one BUY it....you will never regret...I watched few unhappy customers complain about it ...my answer is buy a good battery and not a dead second hand one and you will never have an issue with this fridge....this year the price was $599...very good value for money for such a large and good fridge....
Aldi fridge – Great fridge. I’ve had it for a year now Works as it should. Ran the freezer at -12 and the fridge at-3 with no problems while camping remote. It’s now 2025 and still going strong Show details

Two year fridges – My adventuridge 65l purchased in 2021 lasted 18 months before it started displaying fault codes while running 12v. Now compressor runs on 240v but not cooling. Wont be buying Aldi branded fridge’s again. Will strip the compressor out though and will have a damn fine $600 esky. Thanks Aldi. Show details
12.2 volts needed to run – 41ltr fridge requires 12.2 volts to run this is rubbish should run as low as 10volts stupid e1 error below 12.5 volts waste of money Show details
Worked a couple of times – Only used about 6 times before issues started, refused to cool down and showing E 3 code on both AC mains and DC battery power. No list of error codes in manual and was out of warranty because we only used it for occasional weekends away. Waste of $500 Show details

Stopped working after 2 months – I bought this fridge and even before we took it on a trip the control panel stopped working. What a waste of time.
It's great when it work – Great when it works. But when it dies, not only does it spoil your camp trip. You will get no help from the service agent. This is definitely an item to keep your receipt for in a safe place. Don't worry about the service agent if it dies. Just take it back to a store with receipt and get your money back. Apparently Aldi is aware of the issues, and happy to refund no questions asked. Show details
Great unit sturdy and love the size – Purchased fridge around 12 months ago and just started really using it as needed a fridge that would hold enough food for 2 weeks and caravan fridge was too small. Works great only had a problem when moving fridge displayed an error when first turned on again but after turning off and back on error message was gone and has worked good since then.… Read more
Why is there no instruction manual online as was trying to turn one side off as not needed after 1 week but no manual can be found online to help. All in all it works well and would recommend if after a cheap but good quality unit this is the one. Just be aware that there seems to be very little help from manufacturers when you have a problem if you read the reviews.
Ready for happy hour – Purchased in April 2020. It gets to temp quickly and holds temp at 3 degrees well. The Bluetooth works every time and is effortless. I changed the plug to a meritt plug and haven’t had any disconnects since. We had a battery power loss issue once and I turned it to eco and the fridge handled it. I have it fixed with tie downs in our off-road camper and it gets bounced around with 4 wheel driving and never misses a kick. We use it all the time. Show details
Temperature setting failed – the temperature keeps going down to -10’C regardless of what I set it to. Has anyone else had this issue? If so would love to know if there’s a way to fix this. Cheers
So far so good – I bought 75 litre adventure ridge aldi fridge about a week ago and so far it's been working well. I've been using it in the cabin, full of food. but when I tried to call assistance line today I couldn't get through.. after the German woman said something they just hung up on me, three times

not happy with this fridge - – The fridge has trouble reaching cold temperature - the last Aldi sold was Venture - great fridge - I trusted Aldi this would be a great fridge but I was so wrong Show details
Issues pairing to app on phone can’t get to work – Having major issues used twice now won’t pair to mobile phone app when I delete app and reinstall won’t connect to correct model Show details
Didn't even last 9 months – While away with my family the control panel just kept displaying error 1-5. Fridge would not cool and compressor wouldn't switch on. I've been calling up for days trying to sort the warranty but its proving to be a very difficult process. Would not recommend this fridge. Show details
Trouble from the beginning – Right from the start, we had trouble with the fridge not getting cold enough to be able to use it as a freezer on a trip through the Flinders Ranges. We had it looked at under warranty but the agent, who did not even have the proper test facilities, claimed it was working correctly and declined the warranty claim. I've just put it out for the hard… Read more
rubbing collection because now it won't even reach zero degrees overnight. The cost for repair is more than the fridge cost.
Great fridge – Bought this fridge 4 yrs ago , hasn’t let me down yet …. It’s been constantly running for that period of time in my camper via 12v and solar …. Performs as expected… I have Waeco and Engel as well and this Adventuridge doesn’t leave my camper … Show details
