Spare part nail gun battery for nail gun model CCT18GW.
Where do I buy the nails and staples for my ferret air nailer F-ARN25 Judy
Bunnings. Make sure you get the right gauge and length. Also, If you find the nails aren't feeding it could be because the part that pushes on the nails to feed them into the driver section is sliding over the nails. You'll know this is the issue if the nails aren't feeding and the magazine cover is stiff when removing.
Thank you so much
I Have a Ferrex CCT18GW Nail gun, the green no nails is on even though loaded is it the sensor or ? I have checked and cleaned and lubricated all moving parts but will not fire as the sensor is showing green which locks the firing. thank you.
You need to open the nosel part were the nails are fired from there are 4 Alan key bolt to undo. When open make sure it's free from nails and that the metal slider is pushed up. Also make shoe your nails are size 18. Hope that helps you.
Why does my nail bolt not retract
It could be there is a nail or partial nail jammed, it could be lack of lubrication, a lack of air or a mechanical failure in the return mechanism. Start at the front and start disassembling. Try pushing it back manually while empty of nails and test fire. It if continually fails to retract it's likely a mechanical failure inside. Could be a seal or a broken component. If it won't retract while empty and lubricated and under warranty, return it, get refund, buy something decent.
Thanks, I think a better unit is the answer. Not under warranty. Brought as a gift not used. So just wasted money. Lesson learnt!
My Aldi ferrex cordless nail gun won't. Power up the charger says the battery is fully charged xxx
Can you put staples in a Aldi air nailer & if so what size
Yes it does take staples, the same as the ones that came with it. You did keep the packaging and the handbook didn't you ! Came with 100 off x 40mm staples. At the moment I am away from home so can't measure the ones that came with mine.
I have called the Elitetec product support number 5 times and each time I spoke to an operator who took details and said a rep would call me. No returned calls and no estimate for a response so this feature seems to be just for brush off purposes. I have also emailed the helpdesk address without even an auto response. does anyone have a phone number to call apart from 1300 355 255 ? Chris
How long have you had this ? What is it doing or not doing ? Mine is over 5 years old and still going OK when I need it. I must admit I had to make a new piston as mine failed and was out of warranty. This nail gun is not suitable for business use but only for light domestic use.
It appears I have had it for just over a year so might be passed the Aldi warranty period but still within my credit card extended warranty. The slide part which you might be referring to as the piston and someone referred to it as the hammer, travels into the wood and does not retract back to pick up the next nail or staple to be fired. I haven't pulled it apart to see if something is broken off if something like a return spring is failing. I just need someone to call and tell me the fix or quote me for a replacement part. I doubt if I am capable enough to make a new piston like you were able to. The nail gun isn't for business use and that would be obvious when I still have some of each of the original 100 piece nail and staples. I would have thought that someone would have returned my calls and email. Even if it isnt Aldi themselves, the supplier should look after their product well because if they don't it reflects back on Aldi. Aldi then needs to consider if it is worth using a supplier that doesnt seem to care. Chris
Hi why dos the nail pusher not go back up to reload nails if anyone knows please let me know? im In uk
take it apart and check the piston. mine fell to bits and i had to make a new one. Regular lubrication is very important.
I seem to have this issue as well at about the 150th nail stage when I was just starting to master the guns capabilities. The sliding nail pusher just pokes a slot/hole in the timber. Did you find out the issue / remedy?
how do you get in touch with a warranty claim or a kit to repair air nail gun
contact aldi for warranty and they will give you details.
As franco says, try aldi. Having said that, I brought one in OZ but live in the UK and the piston failed so I made a replacement myself.
where can I buy replacement staples& nails for Model#TTA3186
is there a user manual available?
Bruce H.
not sure if you can get one now but i do have my manual that came with mine.
My ferrex nail gun has lost enough pressure to fire nail
Hi Bill. I had problems with my Aldi nail gun I brought when in WA and found that you need to keep up the lubrication as instructed when you purchased it. Also, a bit of oil on the part that drives the nail. I use light cycle oil such as 3 in 1. Even so, the piston on mine stripped the thread at the base and I ended up making a new one. Since then its a great device for light nailing work. I should add that I am based in the UK .

Where can i get nails for this gun outer east of melb
Bunnings sell them. C1 series Staples and Brads
Where do I bye the staples from
Hi Sorry for the delay. I have never used staples in my Aldi nail gun but I had to buy a load of nails and I used 18 gauge x 50 mm nails from a company called TAKWISE who supply these nails in the UK. They also make a nail gun similar to the Aldi one and they also make suitable staples but you will have to work out which ones are suitable for your job.
Best of luck Chris
supercheap auto
Where do I get refill staples from and what size are they
C1 series from Bunnings
where can I buy spare parts for Taurus Nail gun Model SF5040
try Bunnings as they would have similar, take sample
Hi I am back in the UK so Aldi here don't seem to do this gun here but I brought mine in Aldi near Hocking in WA. The piston on mine fell to bits after only a few goes but I turned up a new one out of aluminium and that is working fine now. You have to lubricate regularly both by adding some drops of the right oil into the air inlet and also the hammer part otherwise it can jam up. They are very easy to take apart and reassemble but do it properly for safety reasons. As suggested though try Bunnings -- an amazing shop compared to things here in the UK but I would contact Aldi in OZ as the first port of call.
In the troubleshooting instruction manual (model #: SF5040; Product code 2391), there is no item about magazine malfunction. It was working before but after opening to add staple, I cannot closed the magazine. Could you please tell me the probable cause and how to fix it.
so what nails does the airgun take in australia?
