Are there any in stock and how much are they?
Aldi resistance rower $299 bought last week, worked fine for 3 days then started making jerky clunky sounds each time the strap is pulled. There is very little tension at all, and no difference between Level 1 to 8 on the rower. Has anyone has this issue and fixed it?
Had the same issue but 4 months out of warranty, no idea how to fix it. Lucky yours is still under warranty

I know its a bit late for this post but it might help others. If you take apart your rower and remove reel that the reel. Unwrap the tape from the reel. You will find two grub screws that have come loose. This causes the slipping you have described. Remove the grub screws, apply some lock tight. Reassemble and you are good to go

I have had my Aldis Rowing machine foe a couple weeks now, and use it daily it’s been terrific, but all of a sudden the retracting belt has stopped retracting, and no longer works, what can I do to fix it please , Alli
no idea - I would just take it back to Aldi and ask them to repair/ replace
Allison S. I have the Same problem I dismantled the rowing machine and took out the part I think is the Retracting Coil,and found out that it snapped off from main Coil that Retracts the belt back in and out
Is it normal for this unit to have a gap between the middle leg and the ground? I have assembled mine but when tightening the screws the middle rises and the leg no longer touches the ground anymore. I’m worried that it will cause the track to break if used.
No the middle leg should rest on the ground. It means you have not assembled correctly
Does the air from the fan wheel blow onto you i.e. cool you down?

what does it mean if a rowing machine resistance settings don’t work . With the lowest setting having very very high resistance? I am thinking of buying it but am not sure about it..
I can only say that on the machine I purchased about two weeks ago, the resistance settings work as intended. Low resistance means that you don't have to pull that hard. High resistance means you have to exert yourself more. I believe some of the comments regarding the resistance settings not working relate to last years model.
I bought the 2021 model two days ago - On its lowest setting, the Aldi rower is about the same intensity as a well used Concept 2 on max setting. It still feels like a resistance workout rather than a cardio workout on anything higher that setting 3. The onboard display appears to work reasonably well, though have made no effort to verify its accurate. At this price point, I am just happy the display works!
Where can we get a replacement strap for the rower?

Can someone explain how I use the screen. I can see time but not sure about rating. Pressing the middle changes numbers but I can’t tell what they are for ?
The original console that we had did not work - was not registering any strokes. The console was replaced by a new one and yet still does not work. Instruction manual not very clear on the console use and setup. Can anyone help please
Hello, I agree with most of the above and have fixed my machine accordingly and it works well - similar to a Concept2 on low Drag Factor. Definitely not 8 levels of air resistance simply a felt pad. Distance is not affected by how much effort you put into the stroke it is simply the total of the strokes, ie 50 strokes and distance = 50 metres.
My stroke counter seems to have an intermittent fault, the strokes per minute varies but the total strokes are correct. I know I am pulling a very steady 20spm but on every 3rd or 4th stroke the SPM counter drops to 15 or 16. I will test a stronger magnet under the seat - anybody else noticed this issue ?

Screws are in the deep holes regularly spaced around the black circular cowling. Just stick a phillips head screwdriver into the holes and wiggle it until you feel the tip engage with the screw and then unscrew the dozen or so screws. Once unscrewed the cowling comes off easily and the spring and felt pad are quite easily seen and either removed completely or stretch the spring slightly.
Do you take out the both the spring and the felt pad?? or just stretch the spring abit? Thank you

Call the after service number. They will sort it out for you. Mine was collected from my home. They were quick and no hassles.
Yes. I took mine back on Sunday morning. I only returned the unit, the warranty and the assembly tools that came with it . I had the packaging in the car but they didn’t need it. One other rowing machine had already been returned to the same store on Saturday.
I wasn’t interested in opening up the machine. According to the manual it can void the warranty.
Still waiting for the refund to hit my bank account three days later.
