After multiple factory resets tv turns on no volume and yes the mute button is off

Did an update ended up with half my TV a different colour with lines tho it been tured on for 3 months was a present for my kids and now they have nothing

I have a 70inch I purchased in Oct of 2021. The screen has been flickering for a few weeks. Upon research it suggested potential connection problem. Changed cable which made no difference. Connected another tv to antenna point and has no issues. What support is available for this issue with a not very old tv? Has this issue been raised on the same product? Would appreciate recommendations, thank you.
I have this exact same TV (purchased September 2021) and have been experiencing the same fault for the past few weeks. Fault finding indicates it is the TV and not cables, antenna or connected devices. Very interested in resolution options for this fault.
Hi Marcus, I'm sorry to hear about the fault with your TV. Is the issue happening on all sources? Have you tried to do a factory reset? This will vary from TV to TV but it will be in the MENU and then SYSTEM or SETTINGS area under RESET TV / RESET FACTORY DEFAULTS / SHIPPING CONDITION.

Hi Tempo, Thanks for replying. It happens with all sources. I rang that 1300 number and was given that same TV Reset advice as you provided. All that did was to, obviously, erase all my settings and uninstall additional apps. That was disappointing especially as there was no option to backup user settings or installed apps prior to this process. The Tempo person also said that I would be provided with additional guidance via email for possible resolution as the TV was out of warranty. How very disappointing that such a significant purchase has become critically faulty within 2 years of normal usage. This lack of after sales service is also quite disappointing and not in line with my expectations of Aldi. Regards, Marcus

Hi. 75” tv is on special this Wednesday. Which web OS does it have? Is it webOs4 or later. Can I put Kayo Sport on it?
Just bought one and no, Kayo is not available on the store even with the latest webOS (5.4.1) But it does work fine through my connected Google Chromecast.
Kayo has been promised by Tempo for months for Bauhn TV's with WebOS. I was told March 2022, then April 2022. Right now it's probably never going to be available despite being available on my other TV which also runs WebOS
Cannot get subtitles anymore on free to air Ok on SBS on demand though! Jimbo
It sad I had to bring back the tv faulty screen. But ALDI don't give a replacement tv . Ok I got the money back . Way can't there replace the tv.

How do I connect a security system to my tv
TV will no longer turn on from the remote, each time it needs to be turned off at the wall and then back on. Resetting plugged-in devices no longer work. This is a nightmare as the TV is attached to the wall and cables are inside the wall. This started a few months after we bought it. It's 7 months old now

Please perform the troubleshooting steps below: - Reset the remote ( remove the batteries, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds then put the batteries back. - Turn off/on the TV from the power point for 10 seconds.

There is nothing wrong with the remote, I use it after resetting power to the TV every time. This is not the first time. Went through all the resets few months ago. It worked then, not this time. Spoke to after sale and they will order and replace the board
Hi Aldi, Interesting, just doing some googling and found this review. I have the same model, which has been going great since 2021, but now my remote also does not turn on the TV. Remote works fine on another similar model LG. IR is definitely working, as I can see it on a night vision camera. I now have to use the phone app to control the TV. I have done the TV reset, factory reset, remote reset, de-pair, repair (doesnt work), no change. Ive bought another remote, no change. Seems to be the IR receiver on the TV has died? Choice suggest reasonable lifespan on TVs is 7-8years. At 4 years, should easily qualify under the ACCC consumer guarantee for repair. If its just the sensor should be a quick and cheap repair.
Luckily for me, mine started to do this during 12 month warranty. Nothing worked to fix it and I returned it for full refund as its was coming to the end of the warranty. Otherwise I would have end up stuck with lemon
going by comments theres more good then bad but was one saying that there was a burning smell when it flickered and had to be turned on n off. so my question is is the 65 inch good or is the 70,75,82 or 85 inch the best in your opinions
I downloaded disney+ onto to the tv but every time I try and watch something an error message shows up. It is connected to inter and I can browse the app but I can't actually watch anything. How do I fix this issue?

It says “something went wrong, please try again later”. It turns out that this issue also happens on HayU where the message displayed is only “ERROR”.
