Poor quality product
Purchased in July 2022 from Aldi. Stopped working for unknown reason. Informed residentiagroup.com about the fault. Waiting for someone to come and repair the product. It’s nearly 3 weeks now. Show detailsSuch a disappointing appliance
My mum bought this appliance for my husband and I as a 10 year anniversary gift, in August of 2022. She was visiting us in Melbourne from Cape Town, South Africa and no longer has the receipt. My item has lasted 15 months and now it will not dry my clothes. It spins. Water tank is empty. Though that is no surprise as my clothes are still sopping wet even after 5 hours of run time. A real waste of energy too. I’ve maintained it well and have always kept it clean but where does this leave me? Noticed the drum had stopped turning and then made a loud whining sound. Switched off and pulled it apart and found the belt is almost snapped in half. For 600 I expected it to last a bit longer. Life changer!
I was very hesitant to get a dryer. But with a new bub on our hands, washing machine on constantly, and the apartment having no place to dry we bit the bullet.I'd avoided dryers before as they just used so much power. This one is on constantly and power use only went up slightly.
We've had this machine going now for coming up to 2.5 years and touch wood we haven't had a single issue. Load after load. It works a charm

th not even a fogged up mirror. It does a lower heat for longer which doesn't damage you clothes as much. Throw in a few dryer balls we've found speeds up the drying process. Hope this doesn't fail and if it does, well be ordering another through esatto (rebadged from AO)Dryer and washing machine useless

Unit is 3 months old barrel of dryer is no longer spinning & has burnt electrical wire smell . Emailed service request to Service & Warranty Agent Residentia 9th November 2022 & accepted all terms & conditions . Contacted again for follow up on the 15th of November as i still had no contact from repairer , advised they were waiting on parts ??? . Contracted Residentia again 22nd November to be told repairer has tried phoning several times on the 11th of November which i advised was not true . I must admit, I was very reluctant buying this dryer. I checked a lot if different outlets for the best product on offer and could not actually find anything available for a long time. My family member decided to gift it to me. Initially, I was not expecting much considering the price . I was very pleasantly surprised after first use.Using the dryer for all kinds of fabrics and almost all the functions I am amazed with the value for money. Was really good when working
First few months it was great and happy how it performed compared to our old dryer. Then same problem as everyone else is getting started showing up. Initially, cleaning the lint collector then restarting the program works. Now it just won't work 4 out of 5 times. Clearly something is broken. Was able to contact support and told me they will send an email with ticket number and someone will contact me in 24-48 hours. No email came and 72 hours later, still no call. Our neighbour has one, running it sometimes hours a day. The distance is few metres from our bedroom, they leave the laundry door open to our way, I assume on purpose... Ive only just bought this dryer so cant comment on how long it will last but so far dried about 4 loads of washing. I read the instructions and set it to cotton standard as the cotton options are suitable for up to 8kg loads. The display says 2h45m but so far usually completes the drying fully in half that time with the clothes being fully dry. Im assuming it has a sensor that knows the clothes are dry and adjusts the time. The first 2 loads i found the water catchment filling to nearly full so i have now plumbed it in to the sink waste via a 1… Read more · 10mm ID rubber hose running from the fitting on the base of the machine to the undersink waste which means no more needing to empty the water tank during cycles. The lint filter is easy to clean and the condenser radiator is easy to access for cleaning if required. The machine is quiet enough, i like that it has an internal light and the settings are straight forward to use. The clothes come out relatively wrinkle free and ready to hang or fold. I doubt ill be hanging clothes on the line anymore. Hopefully a long service life and the 3 year warranty gives me piece of mind and if it fails Aldi is only 2km away. Very happy with it so far though.Just don't think of buying it
I usually like Aldi products because it's easy to return them or get them repaired. This dryer was a nightmare after only 5 months. I bought this in July 2021. In November the wifi feature stopped working. I reported to Tempo they weren't particularly interested in fixing the problem. In March the dryer would work briefly then turn off. The sensor had failed (a common problem with this product according to the repair person). To cut a long story short... In July 2022 after collecting the dryer 2 weeks earlier to replace the parts I get a phone... Read more call saying they were still waiting on parts and that these said parts had been delayed. I decided the dryer was no longer worth the stress (The dryer had only been fully functional for 4 of the 12 months of ownership) . Worked perfect for about 4 months then would not drain any water out. Had a load on for a good 10 hours and were still wet.Also Tempo like to stuff people around.They Organised someone to come look at it and then cancelled the job without telling me. Also took a few goes to get a refund, they kept telling me they had refunded the money but they finally realised they had wrong numbers for bank account in which I emailed the bank numbers so how they put down the wrong bank numbers I have no idea! I have a Stirling STR-HPD80W purchased July 2021 which is having issues with no water condensing out of the clothes into the condensation tray. The dryer gets hot and spins fine, all filters are clean. Yet it does not seem to be extracting water at all. I can confirm it is not the water pump as I have tested this by pouring water into the bottom reservoir manually, after introducing water manually it pumps it back to the condensate collection tray. When opening the dryer door the clothes are still wet.
It seems to be condenser related as the clothes remain wet no matter how long they remain in that dryer but I can't be sure, is there any chance spare circuit boards are available for this dryer in event of a bad PCB?
This is no good. You should still have a few month warranty left.

Now I have to wait until parts to arrive.

Just use a differnt powerpoint to see if it is not the main power circiut in your house
Tried but not turning on. Opened it now to check if there is any fuse. No burn on power circuit board, can't see anything broken
