Not working after less than 12 months – I bought 3 of these electric blankets last winter. Now 1 has stopped working. I thought it looked great with the different zones but if it doesn't work different zones are of no use. My electric blanket on my bed is at least 10 yrs old and still works perfectly Show details
absolutely its not worth the money – purchased this electric blanket in may 2023 and its absolutely useless. Even my old cheap electric blanket keep me warmer. My wife was very disappointed with this product. It take's forever to warm up and not even hot as well. Better stick to my old electric blanket. Aldi sell something that working for god sake!! So far so good – I'd had sunbeam electric blankets before which died after 1 year or so. I've had this Aldi one for 2 years now and it's been faultless. Settings are great with top and bottom, both sides, and 1-9 heat setting. Brilliant. Show details
It’s okay, sheds everywhere – It does it’s job as an electric blanket. Pretty happy with it for the price. However the material sheds everywhere. I’m worried that over time it will shed away to nothing.. the photo attached is the condition after owning it for 6 days. With a sheet on Show details
Could have been electrocuted – Queen fitted electric blanket working one night then not the next. When we investigated we saw that the cord had burnt through near the switch and the sheet had a tine burn mark. Show details

Keeps me warm! – I have had this king size electric blanket for i think 4 yrs this year and it has worked well throughout the winter months when I have had it on. Easy to use and I really like the multi zone area which I can adjust top or bottom half different to each other plus the individual controls for left and right side of the bed. Has been faithful to date. Show details
Love my fitted electric blanket – This is the 4th year using my fitted electric blanket, I have a queen size one. I love that is multi zone, so I can choose if I want to warm up the bottom part or top part of my body or both. This blanket warms up my bed really quickly, I really like that it has a timer so I can choose how long to have it on for. I haven’t had any issues with it, I think it is a really good blanket and I recommend it 100% Show details · 1
Perfect to operate – Warms quickly . Easy to operate . A good timer and upper and lower body settings . I have used it for at least five years trouble free and comfortable . Mine is queen size . I would recommend this . Melbourne. Show details

Don’t buy this! – Far better electric blankets out there so shop around. I bought mine in May 2023 and was disappointed. My biggest issue was the heating wire placement. The connection is on the mattress meaning no matter how you lay the blanket, there are two big electric ports in the way either hitting off your elbow or your shins. Ridiculous! Show details
It really isnt very good at all – Purchased 27th May, it was returned on the 29th. Upon opening the package immediately I was surprised at the general feel of it. It was thin and the surface seemed to have small sharp spikes of glue over the turns of the rather prominent heating wires. It felt of poor quality. It fitted our queen size mattress ok but a little too loosely. Upon… Read more
turning it on, I had great trouble in reading and adjusting the display. inconsistent sized black lettering and graphics on a deep blue panel was very difficult to see in even a dimly lit room. That night in darkness I was with some difficulty able to set the fiddly and illogical temperature control and timer. The blanket body zone and foot zone both heated very slowly and the discomfort caused by the spiky blanket and the prominent wires made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. It was returned and accepted. The employee sought reason for its return as she wanted to know whether to send it back or put back on display.
Absolutely useless – Control doesn't work all the time, trouble shooting section of manual is next to useless, one day it works next it doesn't, complete waste of money do not buy this product Show details

So cosy – We recently stayed in a couple of AirBnBs in the central west for 4 nights. The nights were bitterly cold; however our beds were warm as toast with both properties using the Aldi multi-zone fitted electric blanket. They worked perfectly. We were so impressed we purchased two for the king bed in our bedroom and the queen bed in our spare room. Turn the dial to number 5 and then set the time you want to have your bed warm. They work great. Show details

Awful – I bought a king single electric blanket and turned it onto high for two hours and jump into the bed and it has not heated at all. Not great at all and wouldn’t recommend Show details
I bought 2 and neither worked – I bought a King Single electric blanket on 30 May 2021 from Aldi in Waterloo which did not work but I had already thrown out the box and I couldn't find the docket so I bought another one on 11 June 2021 from the only other Aldi store that had one in all of Sydney by that date, which was in Mt Kuring-gai, and it didn't work either, which I think… Read more
means there was a major problem with these electric blankets. I phoned the Aldi number on the instruction manual and they said they would not be able to repair them and that I should return them and get my money back on them. I found the docket on the one I bought from my local store in Waterloo and I put the blanket into a garbage bag plus the one with the box from Mt Kuring-gai and they gave me my money back on them both. They promised so much at such a good price $29.99 for an electric blanket which had two heating zones, one for the upper body and the other for the lower body and with 9 heating levels for both zones. But what was the point of selling something which did not work. And the store knew that I was one of many people to return these electric blankets which were on special on Saturday 29 May 2021.
Did not work – Bought special buys 10 days ago. Did not heat up at all on highest setting, even after half an hour. Returned for a refund, zero star if possible. Staff not surprised at return. Show details
Awesome electric blanket – Fantastic blanket at a great price. Seperate controls for legs and torso, machine washable also, have had this for a couple of years now and it hasn'tlet me down. I thoroughly recommend it! Show details
Fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Fantastic electric blanket highly recommend. Great system, it heats the bottom and top of the body separately or together. 9 heat settings. Very hot or warm or cold when you turn it off that is :) Show details
Best electric blanket ever! – Have used this every winter for the last 3 years and it is amazing. Having the multi zone is good but the best thing is the timer. I love having it on for an hour or so while I'm in bed, and comfortable in the fact that it will not be left on all night when I fall asleep. Show details
King electric blanket Aldi – Works well! But if you have it on 5 and want it not so hot you have to click all the way up to 9 to get back to 1(no click down /decrease heat button). And it clicks loud. I like the auto timer To turn it off after 1 or up to 9 hours. The body zone and foot zone is great too! Overall it’s great for $69 king size.. I get cold and have it on all night 3-4 is plenty hot. Show details
Faulty blanket – Happened to us too report to acc it's dangerous I've just logged the online report with the acc. I set it 2 woke up to it burning hot, luckily I'm not on sleeping medication Show details
Aldi June 2020 Queen Size Electric Blanket – First, it is not a blanket... it is a pad - it goes on top of any other pads and under the bottom sheet. Second, the engineering is lacking in some of it's design features. Most notable is that the cables come out on the sides of the bed and not at the center of the head of the bed. This causes some annoying difficulties in getting the fitted… Read more
sheets... fitted. The control cables should be long enough that they can individually be placed ON any nightstands or bedside tables. Having the controls dangle or lay on the floor introduces the risk of damage from accidental 'step' crushing and makes the wires rest on the floor where they can be trodden upon. NOT a good design feature. Besides, wires laying around in view is just tacky.
Lastly, in engineering, the power plugs stand out away from the wall socket. This in many cases will cause any beside table or nightstand to need to be pushed way from the wall a safe distance as to NOT crush the plug and cause a fire risk. I placed small wooden blocks behind my night stands to mitigate this risk. A flat plug would be a much better and much safer design.
The engineering changes to make this a Grade A appliance would have cost pennies to have been included in manufacturing, but, for some reason, the engineers didn't see fit to actually design the heating pad to be completely user friendly.
On the 'good side'... it does heat up quickly and the timer seems to work well. The zone heating for the feet separately from the body is that much nicer, too.
I WOULD recommend this to someone that does not care about perfection in design or does not feel these design flaws would hamper them or their safety in any way.

I can’t live without my electric blanket! – Heats up fast and on setting 3 it’s super hot so I just use setting 1 about half an hour before bed and it’s so beautiful and toasty, would recommend!
Its ok – We bought this electric blanket in May to replace an old electric blanket. It fits the king size bed nicely and is comfortable. Don't feel the ribs. Has the 2 zones so can have just for feet just for upper body or whole body. The idea is nice especially if you suffer cold feet. I find that it takes a long time to heat and even then isn't toasty… Read more
hot. If its put on early enough it will eventually warm up but not very much. I wouldn't recommend to buy it. Will probably research better and buy another for next winter.
Slow to heat up – It's ok but takes a long time to heat up. Better than being cold though! Price was reasonable but I will be buying a different brand soon. We have two in our household and same story. Slow to heat up Show details
No more cold feet – I suffer with very cold feet and this has been amazing no more pain or cold feet at night having the best sleep since I brought it, perfect fit on the bed no wrinkling Show details
Not hot enough, 30c not the rated 50c – This blanket is rubbish It's no where near hot enough The instructions say between 31-50 degrees depending on setting. I never got close to that on three different tests. I did the tests because after I used this blanket I thought it was lousy and wanted to see what was going on I turned it on (it turns on to high initially, which is 9 on feet… Read more
and 9 on body, the maximum, and a 1 hour timer) and placed a thermometer in the bed for over 30 mins and measured it, 29 degrees! :-(
29 degrees is luke warm, certainly nothing close to the 50 degrees stated. I tried it again, for 40 mins, 30 degrees again. I then tried it on the other side of the bed (queen blanket), same result after 35 mins.
Back to the shop it goes, what junk!
A few years ago we bought nearly the same thing at Aldi, the controllers died just after 1 year but I couldn't find the receipt. I will not bother trying Aldi electric blankets again, they clearly do not know how to make a good reliable one
Before that we had a Sunbeam. That heated up ultra fast but the blanket died after 2 years of use
I really want a Sunbeam again but with the old mechanical switches, I hate these electronic switches, that all fail. The old ones lasted for years
Save your money, these Aldi electric blankets are pathetic. You'd be better off with a hot water bottle, at least that would be much warmer
Rubbish – Brought an Aldi electric blanket a couple of weeks ago had it on the bed for 1.5 hours no heat at all so took it back for a refund. Thinking this could not happen again brought another one yesterday exactly the same thing has happened after 1 hour on the bed no heat at all so this one is going back as well. Will definitely not be getting another one, very unhappy Show details
Heat is at maximum when turned on – Purchased Easy Home Multi Zone Queen size Wed 22 May 2019. Works ok but noticed blanket turns back on at maximum heat setting. Must have had a short power interruption while using it (it was set at Heat #1). When the power came back on, heat was at maximum (#9). It got hot and very uncomfortable and woke me up. Contacted Customer Service thinking… Read more
I have faulty controllers. Explanation? ... "It's designed that way." Are you serious? "We have been selling it for 4 years and no complaints. If you are not happy with it, you can return it." Guess what? I will be returning it and getting a Sunbeam. IMO it is a terrible design flaw and potentially hazardous.
Electric blanket – I bought the electric blanket from Aldi in June 2016 and my control stopped working so I moved the control from the other side but it blew up as well. Contacted Easy Home but they said that I was out of warranty. Won’t ever buy that brand again. My previous blanket lasted 19 years Show details
Disappointed – We recently purchased this electric blanket for our son and his partner. After one night it stopped working or would switch on and off. Disappointed that a gift didn’t work for a week! Show details
Perfect winter warmer – Fits perfectly on my king sized bed Heats up quickly and is super toasty Love how you can heat top and bottom seperately as well as being able to seperately heat up each side of the bed Easy to use Show details
Both sides not working. EDIT 05/05/18: Sorry, nothing wrong with it – EDITED 05/05/2018. Bought from Aldi Ballarat. Queen size, dual controls. Should not rely on testing using back of hand as heat dissipates too fast without a quilt on it. It works just fine. Show details
