Fantastic product if maintained properly – Quality of machine is good. I descale it every 3 months and clean the "pod hole" with the toothbrush regularly. This prevents common issue of water not going through the pod. Coffee is great, and always very hot. I only wish that Espressi would manufacture a coffee machine with the built in milk frother. I would purchase without a doubt. Show details
Aldi Pod machine problems – I have 3 Aldi coffee machines that we have loved for years. They all started jamming. Water running into pod container as well as cup. Other problems as well. Put up with for months and then spoke to a lovely lady in Aldi that told me that happens with some pods. Told me I could return all the ones I have. End result is if you sqeeze the capsules… Read more
which must loosen the coffee its perfect. All machines now making perfect coffee with all capsules. Hotter stronger and best of all no mess. Can not believe I nearly binned all machines.
Love it! – So as a relatively new coffee drinker, spending money on a coffee machine wasn't something I was too certain about. I also wanted something quick and easy to use as I am always in a rush in the mornings thanks to my toddler! The Aldi coffee machine makes really tasty coffee (I'm a particular fan of the mocha coffee pods). It's easy to use, easy to… Read more
clean and easy to buy pods for. I've even taught said toddler how to use it, under strict supervision of course, and he loves helping to make mummy's morning coffee.
Amazing affordable and delicious – We had one for year previously and only got rid of it to buy an manual one, but went back to aldi. Also had one and my husbands and my work place (separate) getting very heavy use and still excellent condition after several years. Show details
Love our Aldi coffee machine – The coffee from Aldi is lovely, we have our favourite, myself and my Grandchildren love the Hot Chocolate also. The coffee is always of consistent quality and the temperature is very good. Very happy. Show details
Fantastic coffee from a great machine – We upgraded our basic $79 Aldi coffee machine to the Expressi Geo. It has a more easily accessible tank, holds more water and has 4 coffee sizes (as opposed to the original 3). The coffee is gorgeous, consistently great with no burnt aftertaste you sometimes find at the local cafe. It’s lovely and hot, and so easy to use we have just taught the 12 year old how to make coffee. Thrilled to bits. Show details
Great Machine – We bought it as soon as it came out because it had a bigger water reservoir than the little boxy one that Aldi was selling. Granted it is bulkier than the square model but only a tiny bit wider than the original which we had first (then we bought the box shaped one for family to use in the guesthouse). I have tried all three models and I like this… Read more
one the best. It feels beefier and stronger. It is easy to use and the only thing I would change is the cup for catching water that came with the original model. We clean before making coffee, but we do a clean after we make coffee. It seems the machines last longer. It has a stricter descaling regime, it has lights to remind you. I find it helpful. We have been using it for 8 months and love it.
Great product – Great product love it works great just got get good coffee to use in it but you will not be disappointed with this products was good for the money compared to others Show details
Great machine – I have tried Nespresso, Caffitaly machines and the Aldi coffee is the best, the pods are a bit bigger, so you get better flavour, great range of pods that are cheaper Show details
Great machine some pds failed – I have the new model slim line machine and its good. The previous one cracked internally and was replaced by Aldi. We have had a few of these Aldi machines in our holiday rentals. In the past 6 weeks we have had issues with the pods not working correctly they start and either dispence the coffee a little or not at all. Mostly using Milan. It also dispences Half or rushes through to give watery coffee. Show details
Aldi Kfee Limited Edition Expressi Machine leaks everywhere - don't buy one! – Purchased the Limited Edition Kfee Expressi coffee machine from Aldi. This is a really stylish great looking machine and makes great coffee however the machine itself has massive fault in its design. The machines coffee pod container leaks the coffee form the used pods along with constant water drips onto your kitchen bench. This is because the… Read more
lip on the pod container is no more than 2 mls deep and any coffee still in the pods after use ends up everywhere/. Other than that its a great machine however I'll be taking mine back today for the less stylish old version.
A huge step backwards – The new model Expressi Machine is a dog. The old machines were very good. A bit bulky, but otherwise very easy to use. In shrinking the new model they have compromised a number of areas. The water tank is too small, awkward to get to and it comes loose at times in use. You have to refill it basically after every use. The used capsule tank is… Read more
too small, poorly designed and fills up with liquid coffee and wash, which you have to empty over the sink before you can trash the used capsules. It is a burn risk if you take it out just after using it. And you need to be careful how you grip it. Because the "foot" piece will come loose without warning.
The machine also fails to puncture capsules correctly way too often. Our machine won't work until the un-punctured capsule is ejected and a new one introduced.
Our machine is extremely noisy and vibrates a lot. To the point where it moves (creeps) along the counter top.
The one positive is still makes very good, hot coffee, if you can surmount all the above issues. We are over ours, and it is going back ASAP.
PS: Forgot to mention the new smaller machine won't fit the larger Expressi Coffee Glasses that we have used in the past. We had to buy new smaller Glasses to use it.
